20数年前の12月29日、我家の武家屋敷の大部分を焼失した。
　両親には火と煙の中からの脱出劇でもあった。
　それを乗り越え、我家は再建し現在の姿となっている。
　毎年12月29日、そのことを思い出す。
　あれ以来、工房、書斎、茶室などを何故か完璧に大掃除する日ともなった。
　今日は、我家が一年の中で最も奇麗な日なのかもしれない。

　茶室「芳土庵」で父と親子鼎談の録画撮りが行われた。
　文化勲章を受章した父と常に比べられる私。
　卑屈になる歳でもない。「違うレールで生きて行きます」
　聞かれれば、昔からそのように答えて来た。
　今は、「同じ道で生きてみせます」そう答えたくなる。
　開き直りではなく、それが一番ハードルが高そうだから。

　we were destroyed by fire with most of the samurai residences of our home.
　It was fire and an escape drama from the inside of the smoke for my parents.
　Our home rebuilds it and, climbing over it, becomes the current style.
　On December 29, I remember it every year.
　Since that, it was the day to completely clean the whole a studio,
　the study room, the tea-ceremony room for some reason.
　It may be the day when my home is the cleanest during one year today.

　Recording of ' father and son ' discussions was performed in tea-ceremony room "hodoan".
　I who am always compared with father presented with a Cultural Medal.
　It is not age becoming servile.
　"Live in a different rail"; if was asked, answered like that from old days.

　左側は韓国、右側は北朝鮮。木が生い茂っているのも韓国側で北朝鮮側は何も生えていない。

　21日からデザインの仕事のために韓国の利川を訪問した。今年一番の冷え込みで摂氏マイナス10度の寒さだった。
　北朝鮮では大きな出来事が起っているが、ソウルは日本のニュースよりも平静な気がする。
　国境間近の所まで行ったのだが、多くのマスコミが北朝鮮の町並みの人々の動向をカメラで撮影していたことが印象的だった。

　I visited Korea Icheon for the work of the design from 21st.

　雪景色の中での竣工となったが、強風でのテープカットのセレモニーでは皆の髪型が乱れたのだが、
　私は大丈夫？（笑）だった。
　Hairstyle of everybody was disturbed by the ceremony of the tape cutting by the strong wind,
　but am I boyhood? It was OK!(laugh).


　
　多くの車が陳列されているのだが、右奥に私の陶壁がある。
　Many cars are exhibited, and there is my mural in the right depths.


　
　今回、陶板の全てが円形をなしており、光輝くスワロフスキーのガラスも施されている。
　All of slab were made by circle this time, and the glass of Swarovski where light sparkles is given.

　金沢市の郊外にある野々市町は11月11日に市として生まれ変わった。
　そして新たなTOYOTAの拠点がその地に建てられた。
　北陸らしい雪景色の中での竣工となったが、強風でのテープカットのセレモニーでは皆の髪型が乱れたのだが、
　私は大丈夫？（笑）だった。
　式典の後、陶壁の解説を行わせて頂いた。VOYAGEと命名された作品は、
　それぞれの人がそこから宇宙へ旅立つことをイメージとしている。
　左官職人とのコラボレーション、また、新たな私のパブリックアートが誕生した。
　不況の中で、このような機会が得れること、有り難い限りだ。

　Nonoichi-town in the suburbs of Kanazawa-city was rebeared as a city on 2011 November 11.
　And a foothold of new Toyota was built on that new city.
　It became the completion in the snow scene like Hokuriku, but a hairstyle of everybody was disturbed by
　the ceremony of the tape cutting by the strong wind,
　but am I boyhood? It was OK!(laugh).

　After a ceremony, I commented on the mural.
　The work named VOYAGE has that each person leaves from there for the space as an image.
　The collaboration with the plasterer craftsman, my new public art were born again. As far as, in recession,
　I am thankful for what such an opportunity can get.

　今年で15回目となる金沢大学留学生センターが主宰する授業が始まった。
　今日は大樋美術館で金沢の工芸の歴史を学び、茶道を体験した。
　1月から3月まで私の工房で制作から焼成までを体験する。
　そして、イギリス、アイルランド、フランス、ドイツ、フィンランド、米国、タイ、中国などからの留学生は
　展覧会と茶会を催し帰国していく。彼らが制作する茶碗は、金沢での一生の想い出となるはずだ。

　I have the class that preside over the University of Kanazawa foreign student center.
　It will be the 15th by this year over began.
　They learned the crafts history of Kanazawa in Ohi Museum and experienced tea ceremony today.
　Their experience burning from making work in my studio from January to March.
　And the foreign student from U.K.,Ireland, France, Germany, Finland, U.S.A., Thailand, China,
　They hold an exhibition and a tea ceremony, and go back to their own country

　今年になって３カ所目となる陶壁が完成した。
　幅5m、高さ3mの大きさで、日本古来の漆喰や土を用いた左官の仕事と私の陶芸との融合だ。
　タイトルはVOYAGE.16日は竣工式がある。

　The mural work is finished, it was the 3rd mural project in this year.
　With 5m in width, size of 3m in height, it is combination with the work of using the Japanese
　old plaster wall and clay wall and my ceramic art.
　We have the ceremony for the completion on 16th.
　The title will be VOYAGE.

　今日、初めて金沢で公開されたポールウォーキング。
　澤田基夫さん。兄のような存在だ。ご両親も私の父母と昔からの御付き合いがある。
　そんな彼がこの普及を広める為に講師を務めた。
　講義を聴いた後、金沢では珍しい冬の青空のもとで、年配者も若い人も、男性も女性もグランドでウォーキングスタイルを学んだ。
　いつでもどこでも、すぐにできることは魅力だ。
　かなり筋肉を使うようで、シェイプアップにも有効な有酸素運動でもあり、
　これから全国に広がっていく気配だ。

　The pole walking that was shown for the first time today in Kanazawa.
　Mr.Sawada Motoo, he is the existence like the older brother.
　His parents have the acquaintance from my parents from old days.

　近藤誠一 文化庁長官は創造都市会議の講演のために金沢に来訪された。
　講演の後には金沢市内を視察をされたのだが、我家をも訪れて頂いた。
　毎年、日展も必ず視察され、当然のことだが長官は文化に造詣が深かった。
　数々の禅語を茶碗に刻み込まれたのだが、金沢の想い出の一助になれれば幸いなことだ。

　The Secretary of Agency for Cultural Affairs Kondo Seiichi was visited for the lecture of the
　creative city meeting in Kanazawa.
　It was inspected the Kanazawa city after the lecture, and he visited Ohi Museum.
　Nitten was inspected by Mr.Kondo, also, and it was a matter of course,
　but the Director General had a profound knowledge of culture.
　It was incised many Zen terms on a tea bowl, but we are happy if we can help the memory
　of Kanazawa for the Director General.

　元サッカー日本代表 中田英寿さんが秋元雄史金沢21世紀美術館館長と対談を行った。
　中田さんはこの対談の中で自身が主宰する工芸支援プロジェクトについて、金沢が候補であることを述べた。
　彼の希望することはとてもハードルが高いのかもしれない。
　しかし、仮にそれを実現することができれば、金沢に新しいコンベンションのスタイルが誕生するのかもしれない。
　懇親会の中でもそのような会話があったのだが、金沢の未来を感じることがでる夜でもあった。

　Representative of former soccer team Japan Hidetoshi Nakata talked with the
　Kanazawa 21st Century museum director Akimoto Yuji.
　Nakata spoke that Kanazawa was a candidate about the craft arts support project that own
　presided over in this talk.
　A hurdle may be very high in what he hopes for.However,
　the style of a new convention may be born in Kanazawa if we can realize it.
　There was such a conversation in dinner, but it was the night when it appeared to feel the future of Kanazawa.

　金沢から車で京都を往復した。京都での滞在時間はたった１時間。

　私が師と仰ぐ米国人陶芸家Richard Hirsch先生から共に学んだことから、彼とは20年を超える友情がある。
　世界中を共に旅をした。一緒に展覧会を企画したこともある。そして彼の教える何人もの学生が、私の工房で学んできた。
　彼が初めて日本で催した個展。すばらしい作品が並んでいた。成功を祈りたい。

　I made a round trip to Kyoto by my car from Kanazawa.
　Only one hour passed for the short time in Kyoto.
　Because I learned from the American ceramist Richard Hirsch whom we look up to as a teacher together,
　there is the friendship more than 20 years with him.
　I did a trip together in the world with him.
　We have planned an exhibition together.
　And the student of some whom he taught learned in my studio.
　The private exhibition that he held for the first time in Japan.
　Splendid works formed a line.
　I want to pray for success.

　金沢の有名料亭である金茶寮が夕食会を企画した。
　アンサンブル金沢の常任指揮者である井上道義氏、金沢21世紀美術館館長 秋元雄史氏、そして私がゲストとして招かれた。
　参加者は、旬の蟹や金沢産の野菜で考案された料理に感動したに違いない。
　はじめに我々３人のトークがあったのだが、音楽、美術館、そして工芸で新しい金沢を発信させていくことを誓う場ともなった。
　師走の慌ただしさを忘れさせる、私にとっても有意義な時間でもあった。

　The Kincyaryo which was a famous restaurant of Kanazawa planned a dinner party.
　Michiyoshi Inoue who was a permanent leader of ensemble Kanazawa,
　Akimoto Yuji Kanazawa 21st Century Museum Director and I were invited as a guest.
　The participant must have been impressed by a dish devised with a crab in season and vegetables from Kanazawa.
　Firstly there was the talking of three us, but it was with the place that promised that we lshould send
　new Kanazawa in music, an art museum and craft arts.
　It was the time when it was significant for me who let us forget correctness of the December.

　石川県陶芸協会が設立して50年の節目を迎えた。
　石川県立美術館ではそれを記念した展覧会が企画され、夜には記念懇親会が催された。
　長い歴史を積み重ねてこれたことは、先人のお陰であることを忘れてはいけない。

　Ishikawa Prefecture Ceramic Association was established it and greeted the turning point of 50 years.
　An exhibition in commemoration of it was planned in the Ishikawa Prefectural art museum,
　and a commemorative social gathering was held at night.
　What was able to accumulate the long history must not forget a certain thing on the coattails of ancient people.

　朝4時30分金沢の家を出る。薄暗く、誰もいない高速道路を走り抜け加賀市に到着。
　打ち合せを終えて、6時から講演を行った。
　睡眠時間は２時間、しかし熱心な人々が聞いてくれたことで満たされた朝を迎えることができた。

　I leave the house of Kanazawa at 4:30 a.m.Finish running the expressway
　where nobody is dimly and arrive at Kaga city.
　I finished a meeting and gave a lecture from 6:00.
　The sleep was only two hours.However, in what earnest people heard my lecture,
　I was able to invite wonderful morning.

　炎太鼓は女性だけの和太鼓チームだ。これをずっと長く支援してきたのは、和太鼓を造りの名門 浅野太鼓であり、
　専務 浅野氏は国内外の活動の全てを支えてきたのだ。
　私は、友人として、また財団である浅野太鼓文化研究所の理事として見守ってきた一人だ。
　そして、苦難の25年であったことも知っている。しかし、彼らはどのようなことがあっても決して諦めなかった。
　それだから今日があるのだ。地下朱美さん、山田瑞枝さん、東川裕菜さん、頑張って下さい。

　今日の彼らのパフォーマンスは、進化し続ける炎太鼓であることを示してくれた。
　少し、スターのようにも見えてきた彼女達は、これから世界に向かって日本の文化をを発信していくことであろう！

　The 'HONOO' drum team is only for women,and it is 25 years past.
　It was distinguished Asano drum made that supported them for a long time.
　Director Asano Akitoshi was supporting for them Japan and foreign activity.
　I am the one who watched them as a director of the foundations as a friend again.
　And I know that it was thorny 25 years.
　However, they never gave it up even if there is what kind of thing.
　Because it is it, there is today.
　Their performance of today showed that it was the HONO drum which continued evolving.
　They looked like the star, they will show Japanese real culture to the world from now on!

　韓国KBS放送が、大樋美術館、邸内茶室、そして十代長左衛門へのインタビューなど取材に訪れた。
　来年春に韓国で放映されるようだ。

　Korean KBS visited the interviews to the Ohi Museum, tea room in the house and
　10th Ohi Chozaeemon for coverage.It seems to be televised in Korea in the spring of next year.

　我家を訪れてくれた学生達は本当に熱心で優秀だった。

　昨晩は、学生まちなか夜塾を金沢市の企画で金沢大学、金沢星稜大学、金沢美術工芸大学、北陸大学などの学生達と、
　市内の料理屋で未来の金沢を語りあった。学生が町中で次々にイベントができれば、町は活性化するであろう。
　我々が陰でサポートすることは出来るかもしれない。

　そして、今日、8名の学生が訪れてきた。大樋美術館で茶道や工芸の歴史を学び、そして茶道を経験した。
　茶を喫することが初めての学生もいて、彼らの将来にこの時間が思い出されれば幸いだ。

　I talked with students such as Kanazawa University, Kanazawa Seiryo University,
　Kanazawa College of Arts, Hokuriku University about future Kanazawa by a plan of
　Kanazawa-city at the restaurant last night.
　If a student has an event in sequence in downtown, the town will be activated.
　We may support us in a shade.And eight students came today.
　They learned tea ceremony and crafts history in Ohi Museum and experienced tea ceremony.
　The first student has that I suffer tea and is happy if this time is remembered in their future.

　09:00 叶道夫氏、重松あゆみ氏、長谷川直人氏、森野彰人氏など日本陶芸界の若手リーダーが教鞭を執る京都芸術大学は、
　学生達にとってとても魅力的だ。
　教授陣と学生3５名で来訪された。垣根のない会話が飛び交い、私にてってもとても有意義な時間だった。

　09:00 Kyoto University of Fine Arts where Kano Michio, Shigematsu Ayumi,
　Hasegawa Naoto and Morino Akito they are young leader of the Japanese ceramic art.
　It is attractive at all for students.It was visited with professorate and student 35.
　Conversation without the fence flew, and it was the time for significant even if I shined to me.

　この大学院は、日欧の比較研究の中から創造都市論の再構築を既存の理論を批判的に検討しながら
　新しい政策モデルを構築しようとしている。
　金沢は創造都市ネットワークに加盟されたことで研究対象となった。
　そして、垣内恵美子教授を中心に、その教授陣とともに様々に意見交換をさせていただいた。

　This graduate school is going to build a new policy model while examining an existing theory by the rebuilding of the
　creation city idea from Japanese and European comparative studies critically.
　Because it was joined the creation city network, Kanazawa was studied.
　And, led by Professor Emiko Kakiuchi, we exchanged opinions variously with the professorate.

　Christy Bartlettはサンフランシスコで長く裏千家茶道を教えている。彼女とは様々な活動を共にしてきた。
　そして、支部が設立されて30年が経つ。彼女の引率によってそれを記念したツアーが企画され１５名が我が家を訪れてくれた。
　大樋美術館での解説の後に、茶室芳土庵での茶席で父 十代長左衞門とも歓談いただいた。

　Christy Bartlett teaches Urasenke the way of tea for a long time in San Francisco.
　And a branch office is established, and 30 years pass. I shared various activity with her.
　A tour in commemoration of it was planned by her leading, and 15 people visited my home.
　I explained them in the Ohi Museum, and we talked with father 10th Chozaemon in a tea room Hodoan.

　ロチェスター工科大学（米国）は、私も教授を務める学校だ。
　広大な敷地に科学、物理を中心に優れた卒業生を輩出している。
　財政的にも余裕があるため、美術教育も高いレベルにある。
　20年前には金沢工業大学との姉妹締結があり、同時にロチェスター工科大学の大学院生を我家の工房で受けいれる調印も行った。
　その記念のために我家の茶室で両学長が濃茶を喫したことが懐かしく思い出される。

　今日はその副学長であるジェレミー•ヘフナー博士夫妻の表敬を受けた。
　数学者である博士は、とても工芸や茶道に関心があるようで大変喜んで頂いた。
　我が最大の恩師であるリチャード•ハーシュ教授が陶芸科主任教授であるため、出会いは短い時間ではあったが、
　博士と旧知の仲のようになれた。
　そして、再会を誓った。

　Rochester Institute of Technology (U.S.A.) is I as a professor.
　It produces a superior graduate mainly on science,
　physics on the very large site.There is the art education in a high level to have it to spare financially.
　There was the sisters conclusion in Kanazawa Institute of Technology 20 years ago and performed the
　sealing to accept the graduate student of this institution at the same time in a studio of my home.
　Both presidents attending tea ceremony for the memory in a tea-ceremony room of my home.
　I received the courtesy of Dr. and Mrs.Jeremy Hefner who were the vice president today.
　The doctor who was a mathematician had I seemed to be interested craft arts and tea ceremony very much.

　Because Professor Richard * Hirsch who was my greatest teacher was the ceramic art department chairman,
　meeting him was a short it, but it was able to be like the relation between doctor and old friend.
　And we promised a reencounter.

　彼女の日本文化への関心は高いものがあっった。

　She run the big tourist bureau in China, but she perform an overhaul under the high medical
　care to the Chinese well off in Japan and perform a plan to do a trip.
　I understand She was interested in high Japanese culture.

　染織家 中井貞次先生夫妻（日本芸術院会員）。日展、そして現代工芸美術家協会などで御指導を賜っている。
　Dyeind artist Mr. & Mrs. Nakai Sadaji, i am learning many things from Nitten and
　Japan Contemporary Craft Arts Association.


　
　千家十職、塗師13代 中村宗哲氏。彼女とも長い交流が続いている。
　Ten tea worker （lacquer) 13th Nakamura Sotetsu. We have a long time friendship together.


　
　海外からの茶道家も集まってくれた。左から4人目はボストン留学時からの友人 Glen preira,そしてSanta FeからのTonia Umphrey.

　京都は日本文化の根源の町だ。
　1666年、加賀藩前田家の命により千利休の曾孫となる仙叟宗室が茶道奉行として招かれた。
　初代 大樋長左衛門は、楽家四代 一入の高弟であり、千利休によって見出された楽焼を習得しており、
　その仙叟と金沢へ同道し、大樋焼の始祖となった。
　仙叟は後に京都に戻り、裏千家を興した。

　それから340年以上の歳月が流れ、その歴史的恩恵に我家は感謝しながら、裏千家は16代家元、楽家は15代、
　我家は父が十代大樋長左衛門として今日がある。。。。。
　そして、京都には多くの茶道、華道などの家元、日本芸術院会員など多くの著名人が活躍している。

　つまり京都は、私には大きな試練が待ち受ける町なのだ。
　どのような思考があればベストなのか常に悩み続けている。
　京都での初個展から20年が過ぎ、これで5回目となった。同じ悩みが続いている。
　我家のルーツである15代 楽吉左衛門氏が、ご夫人、ご子息を伴って熱心にご覧頂いた。
　将来、私の子供が作品を創る時、またこの関係が続いていくことを永遠に願っている。

　Kyoto is a town of the roots of the Japanese culture.
　In 1666, Senso-Soshitsu which became the great-grandchild of Sen Rikyu was caused as a tea ceremony
　prefect by order of the Kaga feudal clan Maedas.
　It was a much more best disciple, and first Chozaemon Ohi learned rakuware found by Sen Rikyu for
　Raku family 4th generations and went to Kanazawa, and it was with the founder of Ohi Ware (Raku style ware).
　Senso would return to Kyoto later and founded the Urasenke。。。。。。。。

　And past 340 years now, my family Ohi is the 10th Ohi Chozaemon with historical appreciated,
　urasenke is the 16th grand tea master and Raku family is the 15th generartin now.And much
　tea ceremony, grand master of a schools such as the flower arrangement,
　many celebrities including the Japan Art Academy member are living in Kyoto.
　In other words Kyoto is the town which a big trial waits for to me.
　If there is what kind of thought, I continue being always troubled whether I am the best.
　20 years passed since the first private exhibition in Kyoto and became the fifth in this time.
　The same confusion continues.

　the 15th Kichizaemon Raku who was the origin of my home, ardor saw it with the wife and his son.
　When my child will make a work in the future, I wish for these relations continuing again forever.

　11月16日から京都高島屋で個展を催しているので、京都から東京に向かう。

　14:00 東京にある日本芸術院会館での日展表彰式に審査員として出席する。
　ここは日本の芸術界の殿堂でもあるので、とても厳かな空気に満ちあふれている。

　日展は日本画、洋画、彫刻、工芸、書道と５部門に別れている。
　各科からの内閣総理大臣賞１名、会員賞1名、特選10名が表彰された。
　受賞者は両親、夫婦、子供などと共に出席が許されているので、皆が晴れやかで嬉しそうな笑顔を浮かべている。

　私も特選、会員賞と受章してきた。
　作品が評価されるのは、作品が優れているからだけではない。
　品格、人格が伴って初めて作品が生まれるとも言われる。
　そのことが理解できるようになった気がする。

　Because I held a private exhibition in Kyoto Takashimaya from November 16, I went to Tokyo from Kyoto.
　I attend at Nitten awarding ceremony in the Japan Art Academy Hall in Tokyo as a judge at 14:00.
　I was filled to very solemn air and overflow here because it is the palace of the art world of Japan.
　Nitten parts from a Japanese painting, oil painting, a sculpture, craft arts, calligraphy to five branches.
　The Prime Minister Prize and member Prize from each subject, and choice ten were the highest honors Prize.
　Because attendance is permitted with parents, a couple, a child, everybody is bright,
　and the prize winner floats a smile.
　I have already received the member Prize and the highest honors Prize too.
　I was told before that a work is created only after dignity, character are accompanied.
　I feel like having got possible to understand it.

　金沢市観光協会が主催、私が企画するこのイベントは、茶会と、金沢市内にある名料亭での茶懐石を食することで、
　人気のプログラムとなり今年で4回目となる。

　今回は、裏千家祖仙叟宗室や初代大樋長左衛門の墓地として知られる「月心寺」での住職の法話、大樋美術館見学、
　茶室「芳土庵」で茶会、料亭「つば陣」で懐石を食するという企画となった。

　萩、神戸、大阪、京都などから雑誌やインターネットからの情報で参加された方々や初回からの参加者などで、
　不思議な縁が広がっている。

　朝、大雨だが美しい景色の中にねむの木学園が見えてきた。
　昨日会った、二人のこども（ねむの木学園では何歳になろうとも、こどもと称しているらしい）が袴を着て外で待っていてくれた。
　茶室に案内された。床には、「こども生きてる」と書かれている。
　宮城まりこさん自筆のものだ。
　そして以前に我家に来られた際に作られた茶碗、こども達も一緒に作った茶碗や皿でもてなしていただいた。
　それから、彼らが案内してくれたのは「ねむの木美術館」
　それぞれのこどもが描いた絵は、芸術そのものだ。
　五感が優れている証でもある。
　病に伏している宮城まり子さんから電話がかかってきた。
　「今日、会えないことが残念です」「こども達を見てあげて下さい」
　天使のようなお声でもあった。

　もてなしも、描かれた絵画からも、私に明快に語りかけてくる。
　帰り際、彼らによって心が洗われた自分がそこにいた。
　そのような大切な出会いをした気がする。

　It was a heavy rain, I saw Nemunoki school in beautiful scenery in the morning.
　Two children (It seem to call them a child to become it does not matter how old in the nemunoki school)
　who met waited in a hakama outside yesterday.
　I was informed a tea-ceremony room.
　It is written that "a child lives" for the Tokonoma floor.
　It was written by the Mariko Miyagi handwriting.
　And it was tea bowl and the plate which was made when they were able to come to my home before,
　children made together.
　And then I was taken to "nemunoki Museum" each drew what they informed is art itself.
　The five senses are superior proof.
　I had a telephone call from Mariko Miyagi who prostrated itself in illness.
　It was the voice that it "watched children",
　and seemed to be an angel that it "was a regret today that I could not meet".
　The service and drawn picture clearly speaks to me.
　There was oneself that my heart was inquired into by return, them there.
　I feel like having done such an important encounter.

　講演に先立ち、ねむの木学園の子供達から温まる茶のもてなしがあった。

　90分間の講演。笑い話となるが講演前にトイレに行こうとした時だ。ある女性が「90分も講演があるんだ！」と呟いた。
　私がいることを知らなかった彼女に「60分で止めましょうか？」と逆質問。彼女とはそれが縁で懇親会では大いに盛り上がってしまった。

　It is a funny story, but it is time when I was going to the restroom before a lecture.

　To that woman who did not know that there was me and I said to her "let's stop it in 60 minutes?"

　古くからの日本文化を再認識したなかで、新たな局面となっている我々の国を建て直していかなければならない。
　茶道、そして密接に関係している工芸には、古くからの日本人の魂が込められている。新しい挑戦の中で、古きを学んでいく。
　200名以上の参加者の前で、私の持論でもある「温新知故」を唱えさえていただいた。
　夜は懇親会もあり、夜中まで語り合うこともできた。
　中田 学ブロック長はじめ関係者のみなさまに、深く感謝申し上げたい。

　I was invited to the lecture for the people of uraseneke Tokai Block in Yamaha Resort
　Tsumagoi in Kakegawa-shi, Shizuoka.
　We must restore our country becoming the new situation while we realized the Japanese culture
　from old times again.In the way of tea and craft arts related to closely,
　the soul from old times of Japanese is in there.
　In a new challenge, We learn old things.In front of participants more than 200,
　I had I advocated "onshinchiko" which was my stock argument and be clear.
　There was the social gathering, too and was able to talk at night until midnight.

　天皇陛下から親授（直接授与）される文化勲章の親授式が，11月3日，皇居宮殿松の間で行われた。
　引き続き内閣総理大臣から勲記が伝達された。

　報道陣に囲まれた記者会見で、大樋長左衛門は地域社会と連動する工芸運動を深めていきたいと答えた。
　そして、母は亡くなった妹 由美の写真を秘めて親授式に臨んだ。我々とともに喜んでいるに違いない。

　Ceremony of the Order of Cultural Medal made (the direct conferment) by
　His Majesty the Emperor was held between Imperial Palace on November 3.
　A patent of decoration was transmitted sequentially by the Prime Minister.
　Ohi Chozaemon Ⅹ answered that he could deepen craft arts motion in conjunction
　with a community at the press conference among the reporters.
　And mother carried a photograph of late younger sister Yumi and went to that ceremony.
　Probably my sisiter was there and she must be glad with us.

　金沢は多くの人々が茶道を嗜んでいる。文化を支える意味でも吉倉虚白先生の役割は重い。
　先生、これからも健康に留意されて活躍されることを願います。

　A commemorative celebration won Kanazawa-city culture prize was Kanazawa new Grand Hotel,
　and tea master Yoshikura Kohakuteacher was held.
　The predecessors in the family line of Mr. Yoshikura was very friendly with my grandfather.

　昭和22年に北國新聞社が制定したこの賞は、石川県内で文化に貢献し傑出した人々に贈られてきた。
　父 大樋長左衛門は昭和42年、若干40歳で北國文化賞を受賞している。
　そして、今回は文化勲章を授章することで特別に褒章が授与された。
　当日は、皇居での親授式があるため出席できないために私の代理出席となった。

　It was contributed to culture in Ishikawa, and this prize that Hokkoku Newspaper established
　in 1947 has been given prominent people.
　Father Chozaemon Ohi wins the order of the Hokkoku Culture Merit at 40 years old slightly
　in 1967.And a medal of honor was conferred on Japan Top' Cultural Medal in particular this time.
　It became my substitute attendance on that day.
　Because he could not attend there was ceremony at the Imperial Palace.

　ファションデザイナーのコシノジュンコさんとともに、金沢でのパネルディスカションに参加した。
　姉のコシノヒロコさんと共に旧知の間柄だ。
　主催は金沢レディースベンチャークラブで、他のパネラーは金沢21世紀美術館館長 秋元雄史氏、加賀友禅作家 毎田健治氏、
　コーディネーターは会長の浅野邦子氏が務めた。
　ほとんどが女性での350名を超える参加者、あまり経験のない光景でもあった。

　内容は、金沢の工芸をいかに世界へ発信できるか！
　イタリア ベニスと姉妹締結をしてはどうか！（コシノジュンコ氏）
　東京からの新幹線開業まで後３年、いかに金沢が独自の発展を遂げていけるのか、大切な時期にきている。

　I participated in panel discussion with Fashion Designer Koshino Junko in Kanazawa.
　It is the relationship of the old friend with Hiroko Koshino of the older sister also.
　As for the other panelists, Kuniko Asano of the chairperson, Kanazawa 21st Museum
　director Akimoto Yuji, Kimono maker Kenji Maida.
　Most were the participant more than 350 in women,
　I never have this kind of experience.

　How can the contents send craft arts of Kanazawa to the world?
　It may be good idea about Venice Italy and kanazawa can be sisters?
　I come at important time how Kanazawa can accomplish original development
　from Tokyo to the Shinkansen opening of business for back three years.

　第43回日展が東京国立新美術館で開幕した。
　今回の工芸部門において、特筆すべきことが二つある。

　福島県在住の近藤学氏。
　被災した福島の原子力発電所から彼の自宅と工房は10キロ圏内となるため避難所での生活となっている。
　その環境下でありながら素晴らしい作品を出品されている。制作することで普段の自らが保てたそうだ。

　そして、石川県から多数の入選者が出たことは、出身者である私は審査員として誇りだった。
　その中でも山元健司君は、重度の耳の障害を克服し、独自の芸術を表現したことで特選を受賞した。
　彼の純粋な眼差しによって、多くの人々の心が救われることだろう。

　11月13日、私は審査員として会場にいる。
　興味がある方はぜひ、この時におこし下さい。説明させていただきます。

　The 43rd Nitten began in the Tokyo National New Museum.
　In this craft arts section, there are two notable things.
　Mr. Kondo Manabu resident in Fukushima.

　And it was a large number of enters from Ishikawa Prefecture. I was a pride as a judge.
　Mr. yamamoto Kenji overcame the obstacle of a severe ear in that and received special
　award by having expressed original art.
　It will be that the heart of many people is saved by his pure look.
　On November 13, I am in the exhibition place as a judge.

　日本政府が発表した平成23年度の文化勲章受章者に、10代大樋長左衛門、すなわち私の父が選ばれた。
　日本の美術界には現在、在命の受賞者はなく、ただ一人の受賞者となる。

　　　　　　　　ぞくぞくと我家に大勢の人々が祝いに訪れてくれた。

　内定の知らせを文化庁から受けた際、喜びで我々家族全員が抱き合い、そして涙を出し合った。
　父母、本当に嬉しかったことと思う。そして、ふと思い出したことがある。
　それは、数年前に妹 由美が他界した時だ。
　ロサンゼルスからの訃報を電話で知った時、同じ場所で、同じような様相で我々は涙した。
　人は喜びも、悲しみにも同じ行動を取るのかもしれない。妹は、我々といたのかもしれない。

　PTAとの合同事業であるこの講演会、両者で心からのもてなしをさせて頂いた。
　This lecture was a combination event with the PTA and both of us work together in close cooporation


　金沢泉丘高校でPTA合同事業として「生き方講演会」を開催した。
　藤原正彦氏を招き、学生を中心として約1400人の講演会となった。
　藤原正彦氏は数学者でありながら、著書は300万部近いベストセラーの「国家の品格」
　近年では「日本人の誇り」など、武士道に基づく古来からの日本人精神性を唱えている。
　藤原氏は「21世紀をになう君たちへ」と題したこの講演で、野心や執着心を常に抱きながら、
　何度も経験していく苦境には楽観的に立ち向かっていくことを学生達に語りかけられた。
　褒められたことを思い出し、その逆境に立ち向かっていく。すばらしい語りかけでもあった。

　藤原正彦氏は、我家で茶碗を制作されたこともある。
　また、黛まどかさんの主宰する句会での仲間でもあり、今回の講演会をお願いしたところ快諾を頂いた。
　未来ある学生達に、夢を抱かせてくれたことに感謝を申し上げたい。
　PTA会長として、少し貢献することができた気がする。

　We held "a way of life lecture" as a PTA combination event in Kanazawa Izumigaoka High School.
　We invited Dr.Fujiwara Masahiko and the lecture was approximately 1,400 people led by a student.
　While Dr.Fujiwara Masahiko is a mathematician,

　彼はミュージシャンとして、そして俳優として活躍の幅を広げている。
　そして、先般亡くなれたばかりの俳優 原田芳雄氏の大切に愛した長男でもある。
　私も大変に懇意にさせていただいた。
　彼の金沢でのライブコンサートを感慨深く聞かせていただいた。

　Mr. Harada Kenta visited Kanazawa for live music.
　He widens width of the activity as a musician and an actor.
　And he is the eldest son who loved it carefully of actor
　Harada Yoshio who was just past away recently.
　Actor Harada Yoshio was just like my brother.
　I was deeply impressive and heard a live concert in Kanazawa.

　先般、完成したばかりの石川トヨタ東金沢店での私の陶壁が紹介された。

　茶室「芳土庵」の前で歓談する二人、まさに床の間にある仙叟•長左衛門の対座図のようなものだ。

　夕食はおいしかった。大宗匠、弟 久司に囲まれて。
　It was memorial dinner with Great Grand Tea Master Hounsa and brother Hisasf


　朝、鵬雲斉大宗匠が我家を訪れられた。88歳の米寿を記念して、いくつかの茶碗などを制作された。
　過去に幾度となく訪問されているが、必ず我家の家宝となる作品を残されている。
　今回は、父 長左衛門との合作で、互いの親交を確かめ合ったかのような時間だった。
　午後は金沢21世紀美術館での茶会が開かれ、また、翌日にOPENする鈴木大拙館のために記念講演も予定されていた。
　鈴木大拙と交友があったこともあり、年齢を感じさせない、エネルギーの中で「和魂漢才」の意味を唱えられた。
　夜は、大宗匠と夕食をともにさせていただいた。
　この2日間、一緒にいれたことで、すばらしい人の生き様に接することができた。
　鵬雲斉大宗匠様、ありがとうございました。

　Urasenke Great Grand Tea master Hounsa was visited Ohi Museum in the morning.
　In commemoration of the 88-year-old eighty-eighth birthday,
　it was made some bowls.He visited many times in the past,
　but it is left a work becoming the family treasure of my home by all means.
　It was time as if it made sure of each other's friendship for each other by a collaboration
　with the father Chozaemon for this time.
　The tea ceremony in the Kanazawa the 21st century Museum, and the memory lecture was planned
　for the OPEN Daisetsu Suzuki building who did it again in the afternoon on the next day.

　日展審査会。16人の挙手によって何度も繰り返しながら優秀作品を決めていく。

　16人の審査員が一同に会した打ち上げ夕食会。場所は東京六本木ヒルズクラブ。

　A place is Tokyo Roppongi Hills Club.


　第43回日展第科工芸美術の審査員を務めさせて頂いた。
　10月10日から15日までの期間で、16人の審査員が何度も繰り返された審査会によって、
　900点近い作品から入選選別を行った。
　また、その中から10点の特選が選ばれた。
　審査会場は東京国立新美術館。
　出品者は、毎年この発表を期待しながら待っている。
　我々はその中から優秀な作品を選別する。
　全員が一致することがあれば、全く相違する時もある。
　とても苦しい作業だ。
　しかし、審査員の中では、私は最年少でもあり現代美術のリンクする次世代の工芸が理解しているつもりだ。
　自らの信念に従って審査したつもりだ。

　特選を受賞したある作家は、喜びのあまり一晩を泣き明かした。
　彼はずっと地道に努力を積み重ねてきた。
　彼のその努力と真摯な姿勢に、私も涙が止らなかった。
　おめでとう。
　私もいい経験をさせていただいた。

　I was a judge of the 43rd Japan Fine Art Exhibition.
　It was from October 10 to 15th from a little less than 900 works by
　the select committee where 16 judges were repeated many times.

　arists were waiting while expecting this announcement every year.
　We have to chose excellent work from that.
　If all the judges may agree, we sometimes differ really.
　It is very hard work.However, I am the youngest, and, among the judges,
　the craft of the next generation when the contemporary art links intends to understand me.
　I intend to have examined it according to own faith.

　A certain craftman who won the highest honors work cried all night long because
　of too much feeling in a night.He repeated an effort steadily all the time.
　In his the effort and sincere posture, tears did not perch on me either.

　Congratulations.
　I had a good experience.

　日展審査が東京新国立美術館で行われていたのだが、14日早朝の便で羽田から小松に戻り、石川トヨタ金沢東店が竣工に直行した。
　大勢の出席者とマスコミの中で、陶壁作品を解説した。
　下部の青部分は地球、上部は太陽、その間には５つの太陽系の星がある。そこに我々は生きている。
　そして私たちは正しい配列である時に、幸福であることを知っている。
　だから天に祈る。先人が教えてくれたことなのだが、、、、、、

　Nitten judge was carried out in the Tokyo new National Gallery, but I came back to Komatsu with service of

　I explained about my mural with a large number of attendants in mediaand inviational people.

　10月05日から 10日まで米子高島屋で個展を催している。
　金沢で創造都市関連の仕事があってので、初日からは行けなかった。
　6日、徹夜をした朝6時11分に金沢を出て、新大阪で新幹線に乗り換え、
　岡山で再び乗り換えて米子に着いたのは12時15分、実に6時間を超える旅だった。


　私がデザインした会場は、陳列も含めて提案した図面どおりとなっていた。
　米子は、金沢と類似する文化都市でもあり、茶道も盛んだ。
　大樋歴代、あるいは祖父の時代からの作品のコレクターも大勢存在する。
　また、旧知の方々も存在する、有り難い町でもある。
　そんな町だから、とても居心地が良い。
　良い機会を与えて頂いた米子高島屋の関係者の皆様、ありがとうございます。

　９日は会期を残して、7時の飛行機で羽田に向かう。15日まで日展の審査を務めることになっている。

　I hold a private exhibition in Yonago, Tottori Prefecture at Takashimaya from
　October 05 to 10th.I was not able to go from the first day. Because I had work
　for UNESCO creative city network project in Kanazawa.

　I left Kanazawa at 6:11 a.m. when it stayed up all night on 6th, and it was a trip
　more than six hours really at 12:15 that I transferred to Shin-Osakathe
　by Shinkansen again in transfer, Okayama, and arrived at Yonago.
　The exhibition space is according to the my drawing which the included the work
　displied and suggested.Yonago is a culture city similar to Kanazawa,
　and the tea ceremony is prosperous, too.The collector of the work from the
　generations of Ohi Chozaemon or the grandfather exists in many people.
　In addition, old friends are the existing towns which I am thankful for.
　That is why I am very comfortable.
　People concerned of Yonago Takashimaya which give a good opportunity, thank you.

　I have a few days left for exhibition,
　but I have to leave for Tokyo Haneda by airplane of 7:00.I will be judge of Nitten until 15th.

　作家からの提案　『工芸との出会い』工芸家20名程度による作品紹介・制作コンセプトの

　プレゼンテーションディスカッション　『未来への扉』キュレーター、作家を交えた意見交換

　国連ユネスコが認定する創造都市に金沢はクラフトの分野で選ばれている。
　１０月５日（水）・６日（木）そのネットワークによる、
　クラフト創造都市ワークショップが金沢市民芸術村パフォーミングスクエアで開催された。
　海外の創造都市で活躍するキュレーターを招き、金沢の工芸家と交流することで、金沢の工芸を国内外に発信し、
　新たな創作活動を求めることを目的にしている。
　金沢21世紀美術館館長にコーディネータ役を務めていただき、私が主宰する金沢クラフトーリーグの若手工芸家も多く参加し、
　意見交換の場がもたれた。

　Kanazawa is chosen in a field of the craft in the creatve city that the United Nations UNESCO authorizes.
　The craft creation city workshop with the network was held in Kanazawa citizen art village
　pafuoming squire on Thursday for .6 days on Wednesday, October 5.
　We invited qurater from crafts creative city and send crafts of Kanazawa to the
　inside and outside the country by interchanging with an craft artist of Kanazawa and
　am intended that we demand new fictionization.
　The 21st century museum director Mr.Akimoto Yuji was coordinator and there were many
　young craft artists of the Kanazawa Clough toe league which I presided over and participated,
　and a place of the exchange of opinions leaned.

　隈 研吾氏は、日本人として世界で活躍する最も才能ある建築家だ。
　そして、東京大学教授として教える立場でもあるのだが、学生からも熱烈的なる支持を受けている。
　20年ぐらいの交友なのだが、私は、常に尊敬し続けてきた。

　金沢美術工芸大学での特別講義のために金沢に来られたのだが、その前に我家を訪ねてくれた。
　彼は茶道や陶芸にも造詣が深く、これからも様々な場面で私を導いてくれることだろう。

　Mr. Kuma Kengo is an architect having talent most active part as a Japanese
　in the world. And it is a situation to show as a professor at Tokyo University,
　also he was respected by many students.
　We were the friend of around 20 years, but I continued always respecting him.
　He was invited to Kanazawa for a special lecture in Kanazawa College of Arts,
　so he just visited my home first.
　He has a profound knowledge of tea ceremony and ceramic art,
　and it will be to lead me in various scenes from now on.

　媒酌人だから撮ることができた、新郎、新婦の記念すべきシーン。

　梅村光男氏は私にとって、大切な兄貴的存在だ。
　金沢のこれからの発展のためにも、重要な役割を担っている人だ。
　彼の最も尊敬できることは、人を中傷する発言を一度もしないことだ。
　そんな彼の長男、典彦君が升綾さんと結婚した。彼も父親と同じで、友人を大切にする。

　私は、お互い24歳と若い夫婦の媒酌人を務めた。
　思い起こせば20数年前、私も古風な式を上げた。同じ金沢東急エクセルホテルで！
　その頃は、仲人や媒酌人がいるのは当たり前だった。
　最近では、媒酌人を立てないケースが多くなり、披露宴の最初に新郎がウェルカムスピーチを行う。

　しかし、今回の結婚式は、古くから金澤に伝わる儀式を重んじることにした。
　梅村家玄関では、合わせ水の儀式をし、両家が挨拶を交わした後
　花嫁が、のれんをくぐり、梅村家先祖のご仏前に、お参りをした。
　合わせ水の儀式とは、両家の母親が朝一番で汲んできた家の水をひとつの杯に注ぎ合わせて、飲む儀式なのだ。
　お互いの育った土地を受け入れ、それぞれの家風の違いを乗り越えて、一つとなり、新たな家庭を築いていけるように。
　という願いが込められている。

　古くからの慣習を重んじながら、新しい時代に生きていくことは、大切なことでもある。
　友禅、漆器、着物などの金沢の工芸を伝統行事として用いながら、芸鼓さん達に祝福を受ける。
　これが金沢人ではないだろうか。

　媒酌人としては、光栄ある大役を仰せつかり、新郎、新婦、そしてご両家に感謝している。

　Mr.Umemura Mitsuo is just lile existence of an important elder brother for me.
　For development of Kanazawa in the future, it is a person taking an important role.
　His thing that I can respect most never does a remark to slander a person.
　Eldest son of such him, Norihiko married miss.Masu Aya.
　He is the same as father, also and takes good care of a friend.

　I acted as 24 years old and the go-between of a young couple each other.
　I held an old-fashioned ceremony 20 several years ago if I recalled it.
　In the same Kanazawa Tokyu Excel hotel!
　It was natural for there to be a matchmaker and a go-between at that time.
　It will not often put up a go-between, and a bridegroom performs a welcome speech recently in the
　beginning of the banquet.

　However, it was decided that this wedding ceremony respected a ceremony handed down to
　Kanazawa for a long time.
　At the Umemuras entrance, we did a ceremony of the laying upon water,
　and the back bride who exchanged greetings passed through the noren,
　and both families prayed at the Buddhist altar of the Umemuras ancestors.
　A ceremony of the laying upon water is the ceremony that it flows into one cup,
　and drinks the water of the house which mother of both families drew up first thing in the
　morning in total.We receive each other's land which grew up, and,
　over the difference of each family tradition, it is with one, and to be able to build the new home.
　Request for toiu is put.
　It is an important thing to live in the new times while respecting the custom from old times.

　We receive a blessing to Geikos while using craft arts of Kanazawa such as a yuzen, lacquerware,
　the kimono as a tradition.
　We wonder if this is Kanazawa people.

　For a go-between, I am assigned a certain honor important role and thank for a bridegroom,
　the bride and the both families.

　2011年9月24日（土）、25日（日）高岡市金屋町で開催された楽市は、
　江戸時代以来の町並みと、銅器工芸の職を残す町全域を使って行う生活空間内展示だ。
　ストリートマーケットとイベントを組み合わせ、工芸×生活×産業 が同居する“ゾーンミュージアム”を目指している。
　時を超えて次世代へ繋ぐものづくりを考察することを目的としている。
　建築家、隈研吾氏の仮設茶室に、私の水指や茶碗を用い、美術評論家であり、実行委員長を務める伊東順二氏がプロヂュースした茶会や、
　夜は分科会も開かれ私もパネラーとして参加させて頂いた。

　The craft zone market was held in Kanayacho, Takaoka, Toyama Prefecture on Saturday on 24th and Sunday,
　September 25, 2011 is an exhibition in the life space to perform with whole town to have a artisans of row of
　houses along a city street since the Edo era and the copper utensil craft arts.
　It was a street market and an event together and aim at "the zonal museum" where craft arts * life *
　industry are lives together.
　It is intended to consider manufacturing it is over time, and to join together to the next generation.
　It was a temporary tea-ceremony room by architect.
　Kengo Kuma,and produced tea ceremony by practice chairperson of this event,Ito Junji.
　My tea bowl and water containar was used.
　I participated in the subcommittee as a panelist at night also.

　金沢に新たなトヨタの拠点ができた。
　そこに、私の陶壁が完成した。
　作品名は「5 Elements」
　風水における五行説を現代化した。
　左から木星、火星、土星、金星、水星を現した。
　周りは、日本古来からの土壁（漆喰）を用いた。
　左官という金沢の職人技を融合させ、現代アートとして表現してみた。
　竣工式では、私のギャラリートークも行われた。

　他に３カ所のプロジェクトを、年内に完成させる予定だ。

　It is new footholds of Toyota on Kanazawa.
　My ceramic mural was completed there.
　The work name "5 Elements"
　I modernized for five elements theory in the feng shui.
　It showed Jupiter, Mars, the Saturn, the Venus, Mercury from the left.
　The circumference used the clay wall (the plaster) from Japanese ancient times.
　I let craft hand work of Kanazawa called the plasterer fuse and expressed it as contemporary art.
　At the ceremony for the completion, my gallery talking was carried out, too.
　I am going to complete three places of projects within this year elsewhere.

　今、地元金沢で全精力を傾けた個展を開催している。
　ブログを書く時間は、全く無かった。
　会期も11日（日曜日）、12日（月曜日）13日（火曜日）を残すのみとなった。
　不景気な日本社会のなかで、一人ぐらい元気な作家がいてもいいだろう！
　それも、たくさんの友人、知人のお陰だけど、、、、、
　とても感謝している。

　I hold the private exhibition that I devoted all energy to in my home town Kanazawa now.
　There was no time to write blog,
　It is only left on 11th Sunday,12th Monday,13th Tuesday.
　In Japanese society in bad times, one may have a cheerful artist!
　Though a lot of friends, the acquaintance contribute to the fact, I thank for it very much.

　一瞬のうちに、疑問だらけになってしまった。
　
人に必要なものとは何だろうか？
工芸、陶芸、何のために存在するのだろうか？

　創らなければならないものは何だろうか？

やがて、先人からの知恵が観得てきた。

　「天」に人が、器を差し出す姿を「命」と書く。
神に祈り,その啓示を待つ時、必要とされる器
日本人として、
　心と心をつなぎとめるための
そんな器を創れることが、私の人生としたい。

今日まで、世界各地で想い、創りました。
　
「天命」故郷での個展。ご高覧を賜れば幸いです。

　

At any time, I have doubts and questions:
 What is required for a person?

　What do the terms “crafts” and “ceramics” mean?
 What can I make?
　

I was able to glimpse the wisdom of those who came long before me.

　When we pray to our God and await revelation,
　to the thing which granted "life-命"
This character displays the figure as a person holding a vessel towards the sky.
　When we pray for all things to the Universe a ceremonial vessel becomes necessary.
　

I am Japanese.
 This is the fact that draws all of things together. 
I take charge of my life by creating
　this type of vessel.

　デザインの仕事で行ったのだが、結局、毎晩遅くまで制作をした。

　毎日、運ばれてくる作品にひたすら釉薬を掛ける（釉薬屋）／He is always glazeing for people( Glaze Man)


　
　そして、ひたすら毎日集まってくる作品を焼成する（窯屋）／And he fires with gathering work every day. (Kiln Man)


　8/9北京から飛行機で景徳鎮まで移動する。狭い機内で、しかも悪天候で、2時間の遅れで到着。

　景徳鎮には初めて訪れた。
　すべて陶磁器で成り立っている。
　日本にも有田、伊万里、益子など陶磁器の産地は多くある。
　分業制にはなっているが、景徳鎮は特別な町なのかもしれない。
　粘土、成形、釉薬、焼成、全てに仕事が別れていて、全てが隣接している。
　そして、常にそれらをリヤカーで運ぶことを専門にしている人もいる。
　割れれば、直す人もいる。
　思いつけば、必ず協力する人が存在しているのだ。
　デザインの仕事で訪れはしたが、陶芸家である私は、造らずにはいられなかった。
　６日間の滞在で、ほとんど眠らずに自らの作品を造ってみた。
　北京に戻る直前の今日、焼かれた作品を手にすることができた。
　1320度の焼成が１日で終わってしまう、まさにマジックだ。

　訪れた工房は、古いバラック小屋で、様々な職種で隣接している
　雨が降れば、外で乾かしている作品を一斉に皆で室内に運び入れる。
　夏だから汗だらけになって、早朝から暗くなるまでひたすら働いている。
　遠い昔、日本もそうだったのではないだろうか？
　彼らは、決して苦しんでいるわけではない。
　話しかけると一瞬ではあるが、笑顔がそこにあった。
　北京に戻ってきた。明日は帰国する。

　I move by air to Jingdezhen Town from 8/9 Beijing.
　In a small plane, I arrive by a 2-hour delay by bad weather, besides.
　I visited Jingdezhen Town for the first time.It consist all of ceramics.
　There are many Arida, Imari, Mashiko,production centers of ceramics in Japan.
　It is in a division of labor system, but it may be that Jingdezhen is a special town.
　Work parts in clay, molding, glaze, burning, all, and all is adjacent.
　And there is always people specializing in carrying them by a bicycle-drawn cart.
　There is the person to cure if broken.
　A person cooperating by all means exists if someone hit.
　I was there by the work of the design, but I who was a ceramist could not help making it.
　I settled own work without sleeping by a 6-day stay almost.
　I was able to have my work fired today to come back to Beijing just before that in my hand.
　Firing of 1,320 degrees is over in a day; is right a magic.

　The studio which I visited adjacent by various types of job in an old barrack hut; if it rains,
　indoor together all at once, carry the work which outside, dries, and can enter.
　They become full of sweat and work earnestly in the summer until I darken from an early morning.
　A long time ago I wonder if Japan was not so
　They never suffer.It was just one moment, but there was a smile when I talked.
　I came back to Beijing.I will go back to Japan tomorrow.

　これまで何度も中国に出向き、3年を費やした。
　北京、798芸術特別区にあるXYZギャラリーの契約作家となった。
　そして、様々な人々との出会いから、中国の著名な詩人である范学宣 氏とともに、
　「四季芳土」というブランンドを立ち上げることになった。
　私が担当するのは、中国、韓国、日本を含む様々な文化を融合させて、アジアデザインを確立するという大きな命題である。
　日本と中国、小国日本とも呼ばれ、私が観たなかでも大きな問題と隔たりが存在している。

　中国で、「四季芳土」というこのブランドを大きくしたい。そのような夢をもてるようになった。
　芸術や文化については、違いはあっても互いが認めあうことができる。
　これをソフトパワーと言うのだろうか。

　I went to China many times and spent three years till now.
　I became the contract artist of the XYZ gallery in Beijing, 798 art special disrict.
　And I stand and, from the encounter with various people, will give brand called "season fangtu"
　with Chinese well-known poet Fan Xuey.

　It lets China, Korea, various culture including Japan fuse that I am in charge, and it is a
　big proposition to establish an Asian design.
　Chinese people called Japan ,as small country,
　and there is big problem and difference exist while I watched it.
　In China, I want to add this brand called "season fangtu"
　I got possible to have such a dream.
　About art and the culture, We can recognize each other even if different.
　Will soft power mean this?

　私の大きなスーツケースは、愛着ある旅の仲間でもある。
　2011/08/06
　その大きなスーツケースは、今回の中国滞在のために、金沢から講演で訪れた鹿児島まで持参しなければならなかった。
　しかし、小松から福岡までのフライトで完璧なまでに壊れてしまった。
　福岡空港での若い女性職員の対応は、目の前で誰かと電話で話しながら、壊れたことの責任の取り方に終始だけしており、
　時間が刻一刻と過ぎていった。
　福岡空港から博多駅まで移動して、九州新幹線への乗り換えなければならなかった。
　別のものを借りれるのか？どこかで新しいものを買えるのか？
　答えることができなかった。私は、怒りを堪えてその場を立ち去った。
　キャリアーとハンドルが壊れたスーツケースを運ぶのは至難の技だった。
　空港のカートに載せて、エレベーター、エスカレーターに乗り駅まで辿り着いた。
　地下鉄で博多駅に到着。九州新幹線の連絡通路では、エスカレーターに乗れたが、最後の３０段ほどが昇り階段だった。
　新幹線の車内は、収納する場所は用意はされていなかった。
　鹿児島では、器用な仲間がテープなどを用いて応急処置をしてくれたのだが、自らが大きな怪我をしたような心境でもあった。
　08/07
　夜、講演を終えて鹿児島空港から東京羽田空港に到着。
　羽田空港でスーツケースを買うつもりだった。
　国際線ターミナルでは、スーツケースを扱う店はほとんどなかった。
　私は、当然のことのように国際線ターミナルにあるものと思い込んでいた。
　諦めて、臨時預かり場所で荷物を保管する。
　08/08
　朝、再び羽田空港から北京空港に到着。入国手続きを終えてしばらく歩くと、免税店がある。
　ひとつだけ置かれた、それもあまり好きなデザインではないサムソナイトのスーツケースを買った。
　その日、夕食を終えて近くのデパートに立ち寄った。スーツケースのコーナーがありサムソナイトもたくさん扱われていた。
　空港で買ったものより、デザイン的で新しいものがあった。
　値段を見ると５分の１の安さなのだ！何というこだ！本物だろうか？
　思わず買ってしまった！私は一度に大きな新品のスーツケースを２個も買ってしまった。
　このやるせない気持、理解してもらえるだろうか？
　時間が無い中での福岡空港での、航空会社職員の対応。
　地下鉄、新幹線、乗客への足りない思いやり。
　もし、私が外国人であったら？車椅子での移動だったら？
　羽田空港から、世界へ、まるで国内線のように行けるようになった。
　しかし、ハブ機能の弱い国内空港でのサービス、身障者への対応、まだまだ国際水準ではないとの指摘を受けているのも事実だ。
　スーツケースが壊れただけのことで、多くを学んだ気がする。

　My big suitcase is a partner of my travelling.

　I had to bring the big suitcase for this stay in China from Kanazawa to Kagoshima that I visited by a lecture.
　However, it has been completly broken by flights from Komatsu to Fukuoka.
　I could hold the correspondence of a young woman in Fukuokakuko in how to get responsibility of having
　been broken from beginning to end while talking with somebody on the telephone in frontof me,
　and time was over every moment.
　Move from Fukuokakuko to Hakata Station; and to the Kyushu Shinkansen had to transfer.
　Can I borrow a different thing?
　Can I buy a new thing somewhere?
　She was not able to answer.
　I bore anger and left the place.
　It was the most difficult skill to carry the suitcase that a carrier and a steering wheel were broken.
　I was in tune with the cart of the airport and arrived at an elevator, an escalator to the riding station.
　It is come by a subway by the Hakata station.
　In the catwalk of the Kyushu Shinkansen,
　I was able to step on the escalator, but approximately 30 steps of the last were up stairs.
　In the inside of car of the Shinkansen, the place to receive was not prepared for.In Kagoshima,
　a skillful friend took an emergency measure using tape, but oneself was a big hurt state of mind.

　I finish a lecture and arrive at Haneda Airport, Tokyo at night from Kagoshima Airport.
　I intended to buy a suitcase in Haneda Airport.
　In the international airline terminal, there were few shops which handled a suitcase.
　I was convinced that there was me at the international airline terminal like a matter of course.I give it
　up and keep a load at a temporary custody place.
　08/08
　It is arrived at the Beijing Airport again I went in the morning to Haneda Airport.
　When I finish entry formalities and walk for a while, there is a duty-free shop.
　It which only one was put bought a suitcase of Samsonite which was not many designs to like.
　I finished supper on that day and dropped in at the department store nearby.
　There was the corner of the suitcase, and a lot of Samsonite was treated, too.
　There was the thing which I was like a design than the thing which I bought at an airport, and was new.
　When it watches a price, it is a one-fifth inexpensiveness!
　?????? Will it be genuine?I have bought it unintentionally!
　I have bought two suitcases of the big new article at a time.
　Will you understand this disconsolate feeling?
　The correspondence of the staff of airline in Fukuokakuko while there is not time.
　A subway, the Shinkansen, the insufficient consideration to a passenger.
　If I am a foreigner?
　If it is the movement with the wheelchair?
　We got possible to totally go from Haneda Airport to the world like a domestic airline.
　However, the thing receiving the service at the weak domestic airport of the hub function,
　the correspondence to a handicapped person, indication that it is not an international standard still more is a fact.
　A suitcase was broken and feels like having learned most.

　8月6日 小松空港から福岡へ飛ぶ。博多へ移動して、九州新幹線で鹿児島中央駅に到着した。
　私の講演を企画してくれた裏千家鹿児島支部青年部部長 堤昭子さん、上村浩一郎さんが出迎えてくれた。
　そして、昔から私の大応援団である、岩崎産業会長夫人 岩崎泰代さんと早々に再会させていただいた。
　（順序を間違えたら大変！それくらいのスーパーパワーの持ち主！）
　そして、裏千家支部役員の方々に、歓迎会を催していただいた。

　8月7日 鹿児島県民交流会館で「危機だから支えてくれる文化」と題した講演を行った。
　日本風水とともに、私が学んできた「古神道」や「工芸」などの話しをさせて頂いた。
　参加者300名への２時間の講演だったのだが、五行についての質問もあり、熱心に聞いていただき有り難かった。

　土曜の夜、鹿児島の代表する天文館にも仲間と出向いたのだが、別次元の賑わいがあった。
　九州新幹線では鹿児島は始発駅であり、終着駅だ。賑わいのひとつの理由なのかもしれない。
　２年後に北陸新幹線が開通の見込みであるのだが、金沢も同じ環境にあるのかもしれない。
　私は行政との関わりのなかで、いくつかの委員を務めているのだが、
　開業にむけて鹿児島の人々の生き様を学ばなければならないかもしれない。

　今は鹿児島から羽田への飛行機内で、このブログを書いている。
　講演会を発案してくれた堤さん。ありがとうございました。そして、鹿児島の仲間の熱いもてなしに感激でした。

　明日から北京に移動。そして景徳鎮で制作をする予定だ。

　I fly from Komatsu Airport to Fukuoka on August 6.
　I moved to Hakata Station and arrived at Chuo, Kagoshima Station by the Kyushu Shinkansen.
　I met with Director at Urasenke Kagoshima Branch youth group Tsutsumi Akiko, Uemura Koichiro at the station..
　And I met Mrs. Iwasaki who was my large cheering parson again hurriedly from old days.
　(if I get a wrong order,it will be in trouble!)
　she has that kind of the superpower!
　And Urasenke branch office officers had me hold a reception.

　I had a lecture titled "the culture that I supported because it was a crisis" to 300 people in Kagoshima citizen
　of the prefecture Hall on August 7.
　With divination for selecting an idea of Japan feng shui, I talked about "Old Shinto" and "crafts" which I learned.
　It was a 2-hour lecture, but I had good questions from audience.
　On the night of Saturday, I went to Tenmonkan, Kagoshima with a friend,
　but there was the turnout of the other dimension.
　Kagoshima is the starting station by the Kyushu Shinkansen, and it is the terminal.
　It may be one of the reason of the turnout

　In airplanes from Kagoshima to Haneda, I am writing this blog now.
　Tsutsumi who suggested a lecture. Thank you.
　And it was emotion for the hot service of the friend of Kagoshima.
　I move to Beijing from tomorrow.
　And I am going to make work in Jingde Town.

　officer were included distantly, and I invited president of Kanazawa 21st century museum

　金沢は国連ユネスコより、工芸を育んできたことを理由として、創造都市として認定を受けた。
　そして2014年の新幹線開業を控えていることもあり、それらを見据えた事業が重要視されている。
　金沢青年会議所が主体となって始めたこの燈涼会という祭りは、7月29日より31日まで浅野川界隈、
　茶屋街などが若手工芸作家の発表の場でもあり、コンサートも含めて数々のイベントが行われた。
　その中での趣膳食彩というイベントは、金沢の工芸と料理を組み合わせ、観光促進を図ることを目的としている。

　7月30日
　私も、我家と隣接する料亭 金城楼の若主人である土屋兵衛氏と時間をかけてこの機会を迎えることになった。
　公募した参加者は、遠くオーストラリア、横浜、長野、そして地元の行政幹部なども含まれており、
　主賓として参加いただいた金沢２１世紀美術館館長 秋元雄史氏にも出席いただいた。
　アワビ、金時草、ワイン、酒などのほとんどの食材や飲料をを石川県産とした地産地消を試みた。
　新しいメニューと新しい食器、そして参加者との会話で有意義な時間となった。

　Kanazawa received authorization by the reason of having brought up crafts from the United Nations
　UNESCO as a creative city network.
　And It may refrain from the Shinkansen opening of business of 2014,
　and the business that fixed its eyes on them is regarded as important.
　Asano river neighborhood, teahouse town were places of the announcement of the young craft artists,
　and It was included the concert, and,
　as for the festival called this Toryoe which Kanazawa Junior Chamber predominated and began,
　many events were performed until 31st from July 29.
　I combine cooking with craft of Kanazawa, and the event called SyuzenSyokusai in the
　inside is intended to plan sightseeing promotion.

　July 30
　I could work with Mr. Tsuchiya Hyoei who is the young master of the restaurant Kinjoro tower
　adjacent to my home and sheared this opportunity.
　audiences were from Australia, Yokohama, Nagano and the local administration executive
　officer were included distantly, and I invited president of Kanazawa 21st century museum
　Mr. Akimoto participate as the guest of honor.
　I tried food materials and wine were Ishikawa products.
　I was significant time by a new menu and the conversation with new tableware and the participant.

　三日間のセミナーをサポートしてくれた草月会館陶芸教室の優秀な専任スタッフのみなさん
　They are excellent ceramics class stuff at Sogetsu Hall and they supported for my summer seminar.


　東京赤坂にある草月会館で、7月21日,22日,23日の三日間にわたり、サマーセミナーが行われた。
　御所やカナダ大使館などと隣接した草月会館には、信じられないことに陶芸工房も有しており、
　優秀な専任スタッフも常駐している。
　私は「捧げる器を創る」と題して、陶芸を担当した。
　希望者が多く、一番最初に定員に達したそうだ。
　毎日、海外からの参加も含め、およそ40人近くの受講者とともに、茶碗や花器を私も制作した。
　不思議なことに陶芸を知らない受講者でも、花器になると皆が上手く作り上げていく。
　おそらく、普段には生け花を通じて器を見ているからに違いない。

　Sogetsu Hall in Akasaka, Tokyo, it lasted for three days of 23rd for 22 days on July 21,

　Included the participation from the foreign countries, and I produced a tea bowll and a flower vase
　with the student attending a class nearly approximately 40 every day.
　Strangely, everybody finishes it well when even the student attending a lclass who does not
　know the ceramic art becomes the vase.
　Perhaps the reason must be because it watches a vase through flower arrangement in usual times.

　7月19日俳優 原田芳雄さんが亡くなった。
　２０数年前、初めてお会いした。
　男が男に惚れるような、ダンディな人だった。
　以後、弟のように可愛がってくれた。
　人間的な魅力をもつことを教えてくれた。
　奥様の章代さんは、茶道講師でもあるので、長い交友でもあった。
　癌と戦いながらの最後の人生は立派だった。
　東京青山葬儀場での通夜に参列させていただいた。
　多くの、本当に多くの人が、心から追悼されていた

　ご冥福をお祈りします。

　Actor Yoshio Harada died on July 19.
　I met him for the first time 20 several years ago.
　It was the dandy person that just like a man loved a man.
　He loved it like a younger brother afterward.
　He taught that I shoule have human charm.
　His wife Akiyo is a tea ceremony lecturer, and it starts a long friend relationship.
　The last his life while he fought against cancer was excellent time also.
　I attended the wake at the Aoyama, Tokyo funeral hall.
　Many really many people were mourned for heartily
　I pray its soul may rest in peace.

　地元 金沢のテレビ局で、自らの作品を説明するために生出演した。
　普段、地元放送局が制作する番組は、何気なく見ているのだが、故郷を再発見する意義は大きいものがある。
　これからの伝統工芸、大樋焼について話させていただいた。

　I appeared to explain own work in a TV station of local Kanazawa.
　The program which local broadcasting stations usually produce looks casually,
　but, as for the significance to rediscover a hometown, there is a important thing.
　I talked about crafts and Ohi Ware in the future.

　ITジャーナリスト、コンサルタントとして数多くの執筆をされてきた、
　林信行氏が大樋美術館を訪問されお会いすることができた。
　着メロを考案した宮田人司氏の紹介によって、この出会いが実現した。
　林信行氏は、若者には熱狂的な支持者が多く、彼のTwitterにはフォロワーが20万人いると言われている。
　また、彼が10年以上連載を続けているコラム「Apple's Eye」。
　それを読んだ人の人生が、大きく好転する可能性を秘めたプレゼンテーション能力を発揮している。
　言わばIT世界の風雲児なのだ。
　一昔前のITは『Information Technology』と言ったのだが、今はiPhoneやiPad、とTwitterのことをiT革命と呼ぶのだそうだ。
　私は金沢で340年以上の伝統を生業にしている。
　しかし、変えずに守ることは何なのか探し出す方法は、最先端の考え方が大切なのかもしれない。
　林信行氏から、そのことを学んだ気がする。

　彼と別れてしばらくすると、何人からかの知人からメールが届いた。
　「林信行さんと会ったの？」「凄い人なんだよ！」「羨ましい！」彼らはTwitterをフォローしていることで、
　情報を得ているのだ。本当に驚いた。

　IT journalist, a consultant Mr. Hayashi Nobuyuki visited the Ohi Museum,
　and I was able to meet him by an introduction of Miyata Hitoshi who devised a ringing melody.
　There are many enthusiastic supporters in young generations, and it is said to Mr. Nobuyuki Hayashi
　that a follower is in his Twitter 200,000.
　In addition, column "Apple's Eye" which he continues publishing serially more than ten years.
　he shows ability for presentation that he hid the possibility that the life of the person who
　read it improves for the better greatly in.
　It is, so to speak, a lucky adventurer of the IT world.
　The IT an age ago was called "Information Technology",
　but seems to call iPhone and iPad and Twitter iT revolution now.
　I live by tradition more than 340 years in Kanazawa.
　However, it may be that the highest way of thinking is important for the method to find out
　what it is to protect without changing it.
　I feel like having learned it from Mr. Nobuyuki Hayashi.

　I parted from him, and an email arrived from the acquaintance from how many people in a few hours.
　Did you "meet Nobuyuki Hayashi?"It "is a really something"!
　It "is enviable"!

　They obtain information in what they respond to in Twitter.
　I was really surprised.

　挨拶を終えた千万紀子様とともに／with Miss. Sen makiko. she just finished her address.


　16:00 坐忘斎家元の講演が能登•和倉で催された。
　茶道を通じての日常の捉え方、震災によって変わった日本人の道徳観などをお話いただいた。
　閉塞状態にある今の我々が、これからどのように生きていくべきなのか？
　お導き頂いた気がする。
　17:30 家元を囲む懇親会が開かれた。数々の来賓の挨拶をされた。

　ここで特筆したいことがあったのだ。
　同行された家元長女である千万紀子様が壇上から挨拶をされた。
　完璧なご挨拶に、出席者(420名)全員が大きな驚きとなった。
　御家元に私は伺った。「万紀子様の完璧なるご挨拶に驚きました」
　御家元曰く「私も驚いた」、、、、、、、父親としてもきっと嬉しかったに違いない！
　千万紀子様に聞いてみた。「すばらしいご挨拶に驚きました。」
　彼女との会話にさらに驚かされた。
　「ありがとうございます。水泳部のキャプテンとして毎日話す機会はありました。
　それだけの経験ですが、お褒めいただいてとても有り難いです」
　ついこの前まで大学生だったはず！
　御家元はすばらしい講演をされたのだが、彼女の振る舞いに、その晩は主人公を奪われた感もある。
　これぞまさしくDNA。
　御家元、ごめんなさい！嬉しくてこのような文章となってしまいました。

　It was about strange Japanese mores by everyday how to catch through the tea ceremony,
　an earthquake disaster.
　How should present we in the occlude state live from now on?
　I feel like having had he lead it.

　A social gathering around Zabousai was held. It was informed of many guests.

　I wanted to mention it specially here.
　Zabousai eldest daughter Miss. Sen makiko gave an address on the stage.
　It was perfect greetings,all the attendants (420) became amazed.
　I asked to Zabousai."I was surprised" he said surprised too.Probably he was so glad to be father also!
　I asked Miss.Sen Makiko.
　I "was surprised at splendid greetings".
　I was surprised more by conversation with her.
　"Thank you".
　There was the opportunity to talk about as a captain of the swimming club every day.
　It was the experience only for it,If you said so,it was very thankful for!
　she had been a university student. OMG!It was done a splendid lecture, but,
　for her behavior, there is the feeling that she was robbed of a chief character in the evening.
　As for this, it is DNA definitely.

　Grand Tea Master zabousai, I'm sorry!
　It has been such a sentence for happiness.

　7月2日早朝、富山能楽堂での茶会に招かれ、羽田空港から富山空港へ飛ぶ。
　前日は東京にいたが、ほとんど眠らなかった。いや、眠る時間がなかった。
　朝から夕方まで日展審査員総会、夜は昭和33年生まれで組織されている燦々会の集まりがあり、
　その後、仲間と麻布で飲み明かした。

　富山能楽堂での茶会は、私の大切なコレクターの方が催された。
　私の作品を面白く用いるということだったので、楽しみに伺わせていただいた。
　「尊崇」は中国雲南省•麗江に、玄武として聳える「玉龍雪山」をイメージした作品だ。
　決して茶道のために制作したものではないのだが、それを水指として用いていただいた。
　富山には「立山」という山が連なっている。
　自らの作品が、人によって進化を遂げる。そんな姿を見届けることができることは、幸せなことでもある。
　私には「玄武」という風水的なるイメージが沸き立ってきた。

　I was invited to the tea ceremony in the Toyama noh theater and, on the early morning of July 2,
　flew from Tokyo Haneda Airport to Toyama Airport.
　I was in Tokyo, but hardly slept the day before.No, I did not have time to sleep.
　It was held at Nitten judge general meeting from morning to late afternoon.
　And Sansankai (born 1958) members were gathered at night.
　I was with my friend at Azabu until early morning.

　The tea ceremony in the Toyama, my important collector was held.
　Because it was to use my work interestingly, I was asked pleasure.
　"SONSU*" is the work which imaged from Yunnan Providence in China.mountain Xuanwu.
　It was not made for tea utencil, but had use it as a water container.
　A mountain called "Tateyama" affects Toyama.Own work accomplishes evolution by a person.
　It is a happy thing that I can make sure of such a figure.

　6月20日から30日までは、中国•景徳鎮で制作の予定だったが、
　事情あって8月に延期されたために、金沢でまったく自由な生活を過ごしている。
　随分、このような時間が無かったような気がする。

　福光松太郎氏は、金沢で最も長い歴史を誇る酒蔵「福光屋」の八代目社長であり、私の兄のような存在でもある。
　金沢、伝統、工芸、創造的に継承していくことを長い間にわたり導いていただいている。

　そんな福光氏が大病を患われて1年以上、お会いすることができなかった。
　「突然入院」「面会謝絶」事情は誰も知らなかった。
　当初はメールの返事もなかった。やがて返事が届くようになった。
　福光氏からの文章からは病状の深刻さは伝わらないのが、かなり深刻な状況であることが想像されて、本当に心配だった。

　そして、奇跡のカムバック！病気だった気配はない！以前よりも若返った？
　極めて親しい仲間だけの快気祝いの昼食会を催した。
　福光氏が話されている姿を見て、嬉しさのあまりに涙がでてしまったことを気づかれたかもしれない。

　松太郎さん！WELCAME BACK! 本当におめでとございます！！！！！！！！！

　From June 20 to 30th, I was going to make ceramic work in Jingde Town in China,
　but there are circumstances, and it was postponed in August.
　I am spending the all free time at Kanazawa.
　I never share this kind of free time for my life recently.
　Mr. Fukumitsu Matsutaro is the president for the eighth generation of sake cellar "Fukumitsuya" proud of
　the longest history in Kanazawa, and it is the existence that seems to be my older brother.
　He leads me about Kanazawa, tradition, crafts, a thing succeeding to creatively for long time.

　It was suffered from a serious illness, and such Fukumitsu was not able to meet us more than one year.
　Nobody knew the "sudden hospitalization" "No Visitors" circumstances.
　There was not the answer of the email at first, too.
　An answer came to arrive before long.
　Of couse that the acuteness of the condition did not come was imagined from a sentence from Fukumitsu.
　However that was the considerably serious situation. I was really anxious.

　And a miraculous comeback!
　There is no　feeling that he was sick!
　Did he become younger than before?
　We held a luncheon party of the celebration of recovery only for extremely close friends.
　I watched his face and talked, I was too glad. it may have been noticed with tears having flowed.

　Matsutaro-san ! WELCOME BACK!

　昨年9月からから本年6月まで、金沢大学の留学生42人に、日本文化、茶道、陶芸を指導した。

　年度末となる今月、彼らは茶会を催した。
　会場となる石川交流サロンは、前田家家老であった旧横山家邸宅であり、彼らが私の工房で制作した作品も陳列されている。

　一年で覚えた茶道の点前と、それぞれが制作した茶碗を用いながら、関わった教授陣や知人となった人々を彼らはもてなした。
　この茶会を終えれば、ロシア、ウクライナ、スイス、イギリス、フランス、アメリカ、カナダ、メキシコ、中国、韓国、
　台湾、タイ、ベトナム、、、、、、、彼らはそれぞれの国に戻って行く。自らが制作した茶碗は、金沢の想い出となることだろう。
　茶会で少し感傷的になってしまった。

　このプログラムを12年に渡って続けてきたことになる。
　卒業生は500人ぐらいになるかもしれない。

　From last September to this June,
　I taught Japanese culture, tea ceremony, ceramic art to 42 foreign students of Kanazawa University.
　This month, they who were an end of the fiscal year and they held a tea ceremony.
　Ishikawa interchange salon becoming the gathering place is the old Yokoyamas residence who was a former
　Maeda Familys senior retainer, and the work which they made in my studio was exhibited.
　While etiquette of the tea preparation and used the tea bowls which they made,
　they treated the professorate and an acquaintance concerned with people for one year.
　Russia, Ukraine, Switzerland, U.K., France, U.S.A., Canada, Mexico, China, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam,
　they come back to each country after they finish this tea ceremony.
　The bowl which oneself made will be the memory of Kanazawa.
　I became slightly sentimental at a tea ceremony.
　I would continue this program for 12 years.
　The graduate may become around 500 people.

　前日は到着が遅れて、真夜中の夕食会となった。
　そして、前日の荒れた天気が嘘のような日を迎えた。
　会場は高松かがわ国際会議場。観客は四国の四県からバスなどで集まり約420名。
　私は「危機の時だから支えてくれる文化」と題しての２時間の講演をさせていただいた。
　内容は、古神道、日本風水、茶道、工芸。
　かなり、真剣に話した。そして皆が聞いてくれた。

　Arrival was late and became the midnight dinner party with related people the day before.
　And It reached the day when unsettled weather of the day before was incredible.
　The lecture place is Takamatsu Kagawa international convention Center.
　The spectator is approximately 420 meetings by buses from four prefectures of Shikoku.
　I did a 2-hour lecture titled "the culture will supported because it was time of the crisis".
　Contents are Old Shinto, Japanese Feng shui, tea ceremony, crafts.

　I considerably talked seriously.
　And everybody heard it.

　明日は、裏千家淡交会高松支部での講演がある。
　関係者の方々との懇親会もあるので前日入りとなったが、、、、、、、、
　実は、現在(18日20:40)高松に向うマリンライナー55号の車内にいる。
　それも1時間以上、真っ暗な農村で停車したままだ。
　今日は不思議な日だ。

　朝、車を運転して自宅から小松空港へ向う。
　小松空港から羽田空港まで行き、2時間以上の待ち合わせ。
　羽田空港から高松空港へ飛ぶ。
　天候不良のために何度も着陸を試みたが、結局は岡山空港へ着陸。
　岡山空港から臨時バスで岡山駅へ向う。
　岡山駅から高松駅にマリンライナーで向う。
　途中、人身事故があり、わけのわからない農村部で1時間30分の停車。
　一袋だけあった小さなスナックを食べた。
　飲み物も買ってない。それに、空腹だ。
　高松で、まだ、皆が待っている。
　でも、まだ、遠い。

　There will be a lecture for Urasenke Takamatsu Branch in tomorrow.
　I have to be in there for the social gathering with people concerned,
　I became containing it, but, in fact, am in the inside of train of Malin liner 55 to
　leave for Takamatsu now (18th 20:40) on the day before.
　It is stopping in a pitch-black farm village more than one hour.
　It is the day when it is mysterious today.

　I drive a car in the morning and go from the home to Komatsu Airport.
　I waited more than two hours at Tokyo Haneda Aiport after I left from Komatsu Airport.
　I flew from Haneda Airport to Takamatsu Airport.
　We tried a few times landing because of bad weather, but land at Okayama Airport after all.
　I went to Okayama Station by extra bus from Okayama Airport.
　I went to Takamatsu Station by Malin liner from Okayama Station.
　It is a stop for one hour 30 minutes in the farm village region which there is an accident
　resulting in injury or death on the way, and is incomprehensible.

　I ate the small snack which was only one bag.I do not buy the drink either.
　In addition, I am hungry.In Takamatsu, everybody still waits.
　But it is still long.

　還暦である60歳を迎えた若々しい梅村光男さんと共に／
　He reached age of sixty this year and looks so young.


　梅村光男さんが60歳となった。
　歳は私とは7歳も違うが、兄弟のような長い付き合いだ。
　金沢には片町という歓楽街がある。その土地の大部分を彼は所有しており、いわば社交界のリーダーでもある。
　彼は町づくりを積極的に進めており、今後の金沢には大切な人材だ。
　政財界を含めた200人以上の出席と、大勢の芸妓さんが駆けつけて盛大に催された。
　私も挨拶と、乾杯の音頭を取らせていただいたが、本当に皆が心から祝福する会だった。
　このような気持ちの人々が集まったのは、彼が誰もが認める人格者である証しだ。
　彼が人を悪く言ったことを一度も聞いたことがない。

　光男さん、60歳おめでとうございます。これからも兄弟のようなお付き合いをお願いします。

　Mr.Mitsuo Umemura became 60 years old.

　There is an entertainment district called Katamachi in Kanazawa.
　He owns most of the land, and he is one of the leader of the polite society.
　He pushes forward citizen-based town planning positively, and it is an important talented
　person for future Kanazawa.
　The attendance that was higher than 200 people including industry and government and a
　large number of geishas rushed, and it was held grandly.
　I led greetings and the toast, but it was the meeting which everybody really blessed heartily.
　It is the proof that is the man of integrity that he recognizes anyone that the people of such a
　feeling gathered.
　He never had spoken ill of a person.

　１０月スタートするＮＨＫ連続テレビ小説「カーネーション」の主人公になったのはコシノヒロコさん、
　ジュンコさん、ミチコさんの３姉妹の母、小篠綾子さん（享年９２）だ。
　「フォエヴァお母ちゃん」と題してのしのぶ会が１５日、大阪リッツカルトンホテルで行われ、
　私も出席させていただいた。
　3姉妹が世界的なデザイナーとなったのは、おかあちゃんの存在が大きかったに違いない。
　同席した前首相鳩山由紀夫氏夫人である鳩山幸氏、辰巳琢郎氏、そしてコシノ姉妹とともに、
　二次会で姉妹と長く話すことができた。この姉妹が活躍している一つの要因は、個性的であり、
　人の縁を大切にした母が残した生き様によるものだ。
　デザインには、それぞれに深いストーリーをもつことが重要であることを痛感した。

　In October it starts NHK TV drama about Koshino 3 sisters mother.
　She was 92 years old and gave special education for them.
　And then they became well known designer in the world.
　It was their mothers' memorial party at Osaka Ritz Carlton Hotel.
　I was invited for this party with Past Prime minister Hatoyama Yukio wife Mrs Hatoyama Miyuki
　and actor Tatsumi Takuro.
　We could have a long conversation and I found it was a reason why they became great artist.
　It was mothers' education. Also I leaned from them that we should have a good story for each our life.

　毎年、ホテル日航金沢からの誕生日祝いのケーキは巨大だ。そして私の愛車をモチーフとしている。
　The Hotel Nikko Kanazawa always made for my big birthday cake. it is design from my favor automobile.

　遂に53歳。ターボエンジンのように加速度が増して歳を重ねている。

　充実した日々を過ごしてきた気もする。
　悲しい別れもあった。懐かしい再会もあった。
　昔を振り返りたくなる時がある。
　また、忘れなくてはならないこともある。
　でなければ、明日がないような気もする。
　出来れば、昔のたくさんの想い出とともに次の日を迎えたい。
　誰かが言った。「誕生日は、父母がいちばん喜んだ日」
　本当に私の両親は、今でもそう思ってくれるのだろうか？

　携帯もなければFAXもない私の高校、大学時代
　彼女に電話したいのだが、親が出てしまう。
　長電話で何度も怒られたものだ。

　時代は変わった。
　子供達はそれぞれに携帯で友達と話したりメールをしている。
　今年の誕生日
　私に数えきれないメールが届く。
　昔の海外の友人や学生時代の仲間がインターネットで再会する。
　未来に生きている錯覚さえする。
　でも、こんなに多くの友人に祝福されて
　幸せな誕生日です。ありがとうございます。

　It is 53 years old at last.
　Acceleration increases like a turbo engine and repeats age.
　I feel like having spent substantial days.
　There was the sad parting. There was the good old reencounter, too.
　I want to sometimes look back on old days.
　In addition, I must may forget it.
　Otherwise tomorrow is no coming.
　I want to reach the next day with old a lot of memories if possible.

　Somebody said.
　"the birthday means parents were pleased most on a happy day "Will my parents really still think so on ?
　My school days were no mobile phone, no FAX machine.
　I wanted to call my girl friend, but a parent answered so often.
　They were angry by a long phone call many times.

　The time was changed.
　Children talk to each with a friend by mobile and e-mail it.
　My birthday of this year
　Innumerable emails reach me.
　An old overseas friend and the friend of school days meet again on the Internet.
　I do even an illusion living for in the future.
　But it is the birthday when I am blessed by so many friends, and it is happy.

　2000年、石川県知事•谷本正憲氏を団長に、木村ふみ氏のプロデュースによって石川県内の工芸に関わる人々が選抜され、
　EUへミッションが派遣された。九谷焼、輪島塗、山中塗などの石川県内の伝統工芸をEUへ浸透させることが目的だった。
　翌年から、参加者が集まるようになり、今回で10回目を迎えた。
　フランクフルトでは見本市に皆が出品をした。その時の日本国総領事であった田中映男氏にはに大変なご尽力を頂いた。
　今回は、オーストリア大使としての任務を終えられ帰国された直後ではあったが、特別参加をして頂いた。

　年齢は30代から80歳を超える方々もいるのだが、同窓会のように懐かしく、そして貴重な意見交換の場ともなった。

　People about traditional crafts in Ishikawa were chosen for the mission was dispatched to EU.
　Leader was Governor of Ishikawa Masanori Tanimoto and produce by designer Kimura Fumi on 2000.
　It was a purpose to let craft in Ishikawa such as Kutani chinaware,
　Wajima lacquer, Yamanaka lacquer, etc,,,, among EU.
　From the next year, participants came to gather and reached the tenth by this time.
　Everybody exhibited it at the trade fair in Frankfurt at that time.
　Mr. Akio Tanaka nihani who was consul general of Japan at that time gave us big suport.

　Was finished a duty as the Austrian ambassador this time,
　and was gone back to Japan; had participate in particular just after that.
　The age had the people more than 80 years old from 30 years old, but it was like a class reunion
　with the place of the exchange of opinions that was valuable.

　草月流は、いけばなを芸術の領域として表現してきた。
　３代目 故•勅使河原宏家元、そして、私の父は東京藝術大学での同窓生でもあり、互いが芸術家としての深い交流があった。
　今もってご存命であるならば、多くのことを伺ってみたい私が最も敬愛する芸術家でもある。

　勅使河原茜さんが４代目家元とななれてからの10年間の活動は、更に高まった芸術活動となっている。
　彼女の祖父となる初代家元•勅使河原蒼風氏、叔母となる２代目勅使河原霞氏、そして父である勅使河原宏の魂が宿っている。
　つまり彼女は一人でありながら、これまでの家元となった３人のそれぞれの個性を受け継いでいるように感じる。
　これが、特質した草月流の継承なのかもしれない。

　草月会館では、歴代家元の足跡として、勅使河原宏氏が我家で制作した茶碗なども陳列されていた。
　そして、青山スパイラルホールにおいて、今回の記念個展としての勅使河原茜家元の竹を用いいたインスタレーションは、
　10年間の集大成のようでもあった。

　The Sogetsu style expressed flower arrangement as a domain of the art.
　Father of late * Hiroshi Teshigawara the 3rd head master of a school and he was an alumnus at the Tokyo
　National University of Arts, and each other was in the deep interchange as the artist.
　If he was still alived It is the artist whom I who I stand, and want to ask many things.
　I respect and love the most now.
　And Teshigawara Akane is with the fourth generation head master of a school 10-year activity.
　She is trying to be higher art stage for Ikebana.
　Teshigahara Sofu who becomes her grandfather,for first head master of a school,
　Teshigawara Kasumi become the aunt, and Teshigawara Hiroshi become father,
　all of them she is carrying to the art from their soul.
　In other words I feel it while she is one to inherit each personality of three people who became the
　conventional head master of a school.
　This may be to be the succession of the characteristic Sogetsu style which I held.

　In the Sogetsu Hall, the tea bowls were exhibited which Hiroshi Teshigawara made in my home.
　And, in Aoyama spiral hall, the installation that there was with the bamboo of the Teshigawara
　Akane as this commemorative private exhibition seemed to be the 10-year collected studies.

　先般、4月13日より20日まで、東日本大震災で被災された人々のために「Craft for the People」
　工芸チャリティー展が金沢で開催された。
　そして今日、370万円義援金を金沢市長 山野之義氏に手渡した。

　152名の工芸家の参加、来場者数7590人、売上点数324点、義援金額370万円という結果報告がされた。
　金沢市と工芸家が、人を想うことで一体化した素晴らしい事業であったと思う。
　このことは、後世まで語り伝えられることであろう。

　A "Craft for the People" craft charity exhibition was started on April 13 for people suffered
　from by East Japan great earthquake disaster recently in Kanazawa until 20th.

　And today, we visited Kanazawa City Hall and we deliver this contributions (3700000 yen)
　to the Mayor of Kanazawa Mr.Yamano Yukiyoshi.

　It was gathered the participation of 152 artists, number of the guests 7,590, sales mark 324 works,
　a result of contribution 3,700,000 yen were done today.
　I think that it was the splendid event that was unified because Kanazawa City and craft artists
　yearn for the person. This will be what is handed down to until coming ages.

　2011/05/30 12:30 密葬を終えて金沢香林坊大和前を通過する際には、社長、会長を務めたこともあり
　大勢の社員の方々の見送りがあり、喜んだことだろう。
　After the private funeral, we passed in front of Kanazawa Kohrinbo Daiwa Deptment Store,
　there are many employers are waiting for him, because he was president, C.E.O and
　spent for all his life in this company. he must be so happy from his heart.


　岳父である大井一星氏が亡くなった。
　5月24日早朝、私の携帯が鳴った。
　それは、動揺した妻の声だった。
　個展で横浜にいたのだが、急遽、金沢に帰る。
　そして、手術を終えた岳父の姿は急変していた。
　原因は脳内出血とうことだった。
　あれから、4日が過ぎた今日。あの世へ旅立った。
　明日、明後日、密葬で親族だけで見送ることにした。
　数々の企業の社長、会長を歴任、石川県公安委員長なども歴任した。
　厳しく、優しく、そして、情の深い人でもあった。
　本当にお疲れ様でした。そして、ありがとうございました。

　It was the voice of wife and she was upset.
　I was in Yokohama by a private exhibition, but I hurried and return to Kanazawa.

　We decided we are going to send him in an informal funeral.

　先般、本年度に開催される日展の審査員が発表され、私もその一人として名前を連ねることになった。
　今日は、洋画、日本画、彫刻、工芸、書道、各科17名の審査員全員が集まり、準備会が東京、日展会舘で開かれた。
　工芸の17名の審査員のなかで私が最も若い年齢になるのだが、慎重かつ大胆に新しい息吹を受け入れていこうと思う。

　A judge of Nitten held recently in this year is announced, and I will link a name as the one.
　oil painting, Japanese traditional painting, sculpture, craft arts, calligraphy,
　all the judges of 17 each subject gathered, and preparations meetingy was helded in Tokyo,
　Nitten Society Building today.
　I become the age that I am younger among 17 craft judges, but think to accept carefulness and
　breath new boldly.

　金沢の若手の工芸家が、競い合いながら、交流を深めていく集まりができた。
　20代から40代が中心で、規則も何もなく、垣根を超えたものである。
　顧問に金沢21世紀美術館館長 秋元雄史氏、副代表に漆芸家 西村優氏、代表に私が就任することになったのだが、
　互いが切磋琢磨するという趣旨に基づき「金沢クラフトリーグ」と命名させていただいた。

　今日から、金沢広坂クラフトで13人の工芸家が参加して展覧会が始まったのだが、
　早速に、秋元雄史氏を招き勉強会を開催した。
　私の一つの願いは、彼らと共に、これからの工芸を世界中に発信していくことでもある。

　13 of young craft artists in Kanazawa starts the group exhibition.
　There is no rule and members are between 20s and 40s and it is the thing beyond the fence.
　I named "Kanazawa craft league" and to be adviser Mr.Akimoto Yuji (Kanazawa the 21st century)
　a vice-representative Nishimura Osamu (lacquer art) and I am representative. I hope all members
　are based on a purpose to work together in competition.

　From today, exhibition started at Kanazawa Hirosaka Craft Gallery. And it was already and
　held a study session by Mr. Akimoto Yuji.
　A wish of one of mine is to send craft in the future to the world with them.

　I had a chance to talk with Miss KOSHINO HIROKO after her fashion show.


　「HIROKO KOSHINO（ヒロコ コシノ）」さんが5月23日、
　東京・恵比寿ガーデンヒルで2011-12年秋冬コレクションを発表した。
　東日本大震災の影響で3月22日に予定されていたショーを延期しての開催となった。
　有り難いことに、限定された招待客しかいないなかで、ご招待をいただいた。

　ショーが始まる前、コシノヒロコ氏は被災者へ哀悼の意を捧げ、
　「命の尊さや人と人との絆。心が、服が、訴える事が出来れば嬉しい」とスピーチされた。

　「Mother Earth」と題されたコレクションは、命を服に宿した神妙な表現となっていた。
　コシノヒロコさんが純白のドレスに、自らが描いた水墨画のような世界は、日本人の魂を表現されたものだった。
　ショーは従来の20分の1の電力で行われ、スポットだけの演出なのだが、幻想的なショーとなった。

　3月17日に行われた（4月30日NHK教育14:00-15:00 テレビフォーラムで放映

　「工芸の未来」という公開シンポジュウムで「絆」や「命」が主要なテーマでもあった。

　パネラーとして参加されたコシノヒロコさんも、
　そのパネルディスカションをプロデュースさせていただいた私も横浜高島屋での個展で
　「絆」や「命」をテーマとして表現することになった。

　コシノヒロコさんの創造は、限りなくいつまでも続いていくことだろう。
　ファションの世界も工芸の世界も共通することは多いことを学んだ気がする。

　"HIROKO KOSHINO" had show on May 23,
　It was collection for 2011-12 year of fall and winter at Tokyo / Ebisu Garden.
　That postpone a show planned under the influence of East Japan great earthquake disaster on March 22;

　Fortunately I had an invitation while a limited invited guest was the only VIP and cross friend.
　Hiroko Koshino had a speach with condolence to a victim before a show begins;
　"the bond with preciousness and a person and the person of the life."
　"If clothes could appeal for a heart, it was given a speech when glad."
　The collection titled "Mother Earth" became the serious expression that retained life on clothes.
　In the world where Hiroko Koshino seemed to be the black-and-white drawing which oneself drew on
　the snow-white dress, it was expressed a soul of Japanese.
　The show was carried out with a one-20th conventional electricity, and it was the direction only for spots,
　but it was with a fantastic show.
　It was panel talk on March 17 ("a bond" and "life" were main themes in

　"future of the craft arts" for NHK education from 14:00 to 15:00 on April 30.)
　As for Hiroko Koshino participated in as a panelist,and she performed for her show from
　"a bond" and "life" , I also produced that panel and created by same meaning by a
　private exhibition in Yokohama Takashimaya and will express it.

　Creation of Hiroko Koshino will be to follow limitlessly forever.
　The world of fashion feels like having learned that the craft world is often common.

　横浜高島屋での個展では、久々の再会が続いている。
　高校、大学と玉川学園だった私には、同窓は横浜で集まりやすいのかもしれない。
　今でも同級生として連絡を取り合いながら、会える友人もいる。
　一生のなかで数度しか会えないような友人、高校を卒業してから35年前ぶりに会った友人、
　BASKETBALL部の後輩、大学での恩師、茶道の仲間など久々の再会が続いている。

　今、日本はすべての局面において最悪の状況下にある。
　それでも、私の個展で大勢の人が集まり、盛況にいれることは本当に感謝しなければならない。
　その恩恵を証とできるような生き方をすることが、また友と再会できることなのかもしれない。

　I am surprised at my exhibition in Yokohama Takashimaya. Because I have a chanse to be able to
　meet with my dear old friends.
　I was student of Tamagawa Gakuen when I was high school and university.
　The alumni students may be easy to gather in Yokohama.
　There is still the friend who can meet while contacting it as a classmate.
　One of my friend Probably I only have a few chanse to meet in my life,
　basketball team in high school period, the teacher at the university,
　I am seeing many people from old days.
　My country Japan is the one of the worst situation in history now.
　A large number of people gather by my private exhibition,
　and it still must really thank me to put in the prosperity.
　I have to prove the benefit way of my life. And then it may be able to meet a friend again.

　5月18日から横浜高島屋で個展が始まった。
　テーマは「絆」「命」

　個展はまるでFACEBOOKのようでもある。高校、大学の頃の恩師、友人が来てくれる
　また、今現在においてご指導をいただいている芸術家、コレクターの方々、連日の賑わいに驚いている。

　夜の横浜は節電で不思議な様相でもある。
　このような時期であっても、多くのコレクターの方々、そして友人に支えられていることを本当に感謝している。

　My private exhibition began on May 18 in Yokohama Takashimaya.
　The theme "bond" "life"
　The private exhibition seems to be totally "FACEBOOK".
　I am surprised at a high school, university, the teacher in the days.
　Artist having guidance now again in the present whom a friend comes for,
　collectors, turnout of the day after day.
　Night Yokohama is the aspect that is mysterious by economy in power consumption.

　840人の父母が出席されるなかで総会が開催され、私は正式に金沢泉丘高校PTA会長となった。
　在籍する次男から「普段、家にいない父親が何でＰＴＡの会長なん？学校で肩身がせまくなる！」などと、
　ＰＴＡの会長を引き受けたのが、何か悪いことでもしたかのように、言われいる。
　私自身、自らの人生でPTA会長になることは、想定外のことでもあるのだが、、、、、、

　もちろん、多くの方々の要望で引き受けたからには、参加する会員のPTA活動へのかかわりが素敵な１年になるように、
　私個人としても最大の努力をさせていただくつもりだ。
　10月24日にはPTAの事業として、学生、父母１２００人程度を対象として、
　「国家の品格」著者である藤原正彦氏による講演会を企画している。

　I plan a lecture by Masahiko Fujiwara who is a "national dignity" author for student,
　parents around 1,200 as a event of the PTAs on October 24.

　昨日、日展審査員選出委員会において私は審査員として選出された。
　マスコミからの取材でそのことを知った。
　日展は「洋画」「日本画」「彫刻」「工芸」「書道」という全ての分野を網羅する、国内では最高峰の公募展である。
　重鎮から若手まで、最高の作品で挑んでくる。2008年に初めての審査員を経験し、翌年には日展会員賞を受賞させて頂いた。

　あの悲惨な大震災によって、日本人の心は武士道を彷彿させるほどに清い精神が蘇った。
　そのことを踏まえ、自らもその心で作品を審査できるよう努力しなければならない。

　I was selected as a judge in Nitten(Japan Art Exhibition) judge election Committee yesterday.
　And I knew it by the coverage from the media.
　I experienced the first judge in 2008 and received member of Nitten Prize in t 2009.

　It is an open call for participants exhibition of the highest peak in the country where Nitten covers all all
　fields called the " Oil Painting" "Japanese painting" "sculpture" "Craf Arts" "calligraphy".
　From a man of influence to a young person, all people challenge it with the best work.

　However, by that miserable great earthquake disaster, the Japanese heart reminded of Bushido,
　and clean mind revived.
　On the basis of it, I must make an effort to be able to examine the work for the heart by oneself.

　居間に用意された茶のしつらいは、世界中の中文化を取り入れたものだった。

　宗偏流は350年以上の歴史を誇る千家茶道を伝える流派だ。
　鎌倉にある、１１世宗偏流幽々斎家元の自宅を訪問した。
　流祖の教えを伝え守る茶道を家元として継承するなかで、伝統的な茶室を離れ、様々なスタイルの茶の湯を提案されてきた。
　私はそのような生き方に共感することが多い。
　そして、ご自宅に招かれたのだ。居間に用意された茶のしつらいは、世界中の中文化を取り入れたものだった。
　過去の繰り返しが、今であることを実感した時間でもあった。家元が感じている日本がそこに存在していた。

　私より一つ先輩であるから54歳同士の結婚だ。
　出席者も年寄りばかりだ。
　しかし、笑いの絶えない時間でもあった。
　お幸せに！

　大樋茶会を終えた翌日、19日から24日まで北京を訪問した。
　中国で契約しているギャラリーとの仕事なのだが、事業展開が幅広く難題が多い。
　しかし、ギャラリーは私を評価してくれており、とても価値あることばかりでやりがいを感じている。

　日本大使館一等書記官である甲木浩太郎氏は、予てから懇意にさせていただいている。
　彼の計らいで日本大使 丹羽宇一郎氏とも会見することもできた。また、数々の経済人や芸術家と交流することもできた。

　今日、北京空港から帰国した。羽田空港の国際線新ターミナルは、シンプルで美しい。
　日本への玄関口として必然なものでり、何より都内に近い。
　しかし、全く見かけない海外からの人々、震災後の節電で暗くなった電車や町中は、
　数時間前まで眼にしていた北京とどうしても比較してしまう。
　日本が悲しみと被災から立ち直るためにも、国民が総力を上げて立ち向かわなければならないことを実感する。

　今回学んだことは、日本と中国という共通点もあれば難題も多いこの二つの国で、
　私は大切な出会いの中から文化を通じて、自由自在に事業を展開していこうと思う。

　In addition, I was able to interchange with many businessmen and artists.

　I came back today from Beijing Airport to Haneda Airport.
　Haneda Airport New International terminal is simple and beautiful.
　It is necessity and best way to Tokyo as a doorway to Japan.
　However, it was not many foreign visitors around and train and the downtown that became
　gloomy for the economy in power consumption after the earthquake disaster.
　I compared with Beijing until several hours ago.
　Because Japan recovers it self from sorrow and suffering, I realize what the nation gives all
　power and must confront.
　If there is the common point called Japan and China, also with many difficult problems.
　I learned this time, I think in these two countries to develop a project through culture from an
　important encounter at will.

　大樋美術館の開館20周年を記念して、4月15日、16日、17日の3日間の大樋茶会を開いた。

　美術館では記念として「茶碗の創成から今日まで」展が開かれている。
　大樋歴代長左衛門の作品と関わった数寄者や芸術家などが我家で残していった作品、
　平安時代から今日までの茶碗などが陳列されている。
　招待客の皆様には、それらの作品を鑑賞頂き、茶室「芳土庵」での茶会へ参加いただいた。

　石川県知事 谷本正憲氏夫妻、金沢市長 山野之義氏をはじめ、全国から大勢の招待客を御迎えし、
　我家全員でもてなしをさせていただいた。
　卯年を再び迎えた父は、大変な感激で亭主を務め、母は３日間の全ての茶席で茶を点てた。
　支えられ、生きていることに、そして、全てに有り難いことだと思う。

　In commemoration of opening the 20th anniversary of the Ohi Museum,
　It was held for 3-days tea ceremony from 15th until April 17.
　Exhibition is opened as memory in the museum from "first tea bowl until today".
　Bowls from generations Ohi Chozaemon, tea mastes,
　artista and a work from the Heian era weredisplyed for the exhibition.

　Invited guests were apperciated those works and participate in tea-ceremony room "hodoan".
　Including Mr. and Mrs. Governor of Ishikawa Masanori Tanimoto,
　Mayor Kanazawa Yamano Yukiyoshi and invited guests from the whole country were received by all my family.

　Father who greeted the Year of the Rabbit again acted as a host for great emotion,
　and mother made tea in a tea-ceremony room of all of 3 days.
　It is supported and and, in living, thinks it that all is thankful.

　大樋美術館は、裏千家鵬雲斉大宗匠（当時家元）様夫妻、坐忘斎若宗匠（当時若宗匠）様夫妻、伊住宗晃宗匠様夫妻、
　石川県知事、金沢市長などが参列され、平成2年9月に開館した。
　それは祖父九代長左衛門、父十代長左衛門、そして私の夢でもあった。

　しかし、開館してわずか３ヶ月にも満たない12月29日、業者の施工ミスが原因となって我家の武家屋敷は全焼してしまった。
　その時、我家において大切なものが多く消えてしまった。
　祖父が残した数々の作品や書物、父も日本芸術院賞を受賞した際の天皇陛下直筆の表彰状やそれまでの作品などを消失してしまった。
　その日の夜、父が愕然として立っていた姿を忘れることはない。私も幼い頃からの写真など想い出は消えてしまった。
　しかし、両親が火と煙の中から救出されたことは何にも代え難いことであった。施行業者に悪意があったわけでもない。
　そして、様々な人々から賜った温情に、我々は今もって忘れることはない。

　そして、我家の武家屋敷や茶室は再興し、20年が過ぎた。
　火事に堪えた、庭にある御神木である「折鶴の松」も健在だ。
　その間、我々には絶えることができない悲しい出来事もあれば、慶事もあった。

　20年を記念して、明日からは大樋茶会が開かれる。
　父、弟、そして私が、大樋美術館での「茶碗の創成から今日まで」展、
　芳土庵での茶席の道具などの全ての準備が終えたのは夜中となっていた。

　It was honored to attend with Hounsai Urasenke Great Tea Master, Zabosai Urasenke Next Head tea Master,
　Izumi Sokou Urasenke Tea Master, Governor Ishikawa, Mayor Kanazawa opened the
　Ohi Museum in September, 1990.
　It was a dream of grandfather (9th Chozaemon), father (10th chozaemon) and me.
　However, after 3 month later from opened the museum, the samurai residence of my home has been fired
　for a construction error of the supplier on December 29.
　A lot of important things have disappeared then in my home.
　We lost grand fathers' work and his books, fathers' Japanese Art Academy Award
　( testimonial of the His Majesty the Emperor handwriting).
　I never forget that father stood figuer at night of the day.
　The memory including the photograph from the time when I was young has faded away.
　However, it was to be hard to change into anything that parents were rescued from fire and smoke.
　It was not malicious for an enforcement supplier.
　And, in the sympathy that various people gave, we last now and do not forget it.

　And a samurai residence and the tea-ceremony room of my home revived,
　and 20 years passed."The pine tree in our garden "folded paper crane" which is the sacred
　which endured a fire is in good health.
　Meanwhile, there was the auspicious things if there was the sad things that could not die out to us.
　We memorialize 20 years, and a great eaves trough tea ceremony is held from tomorrow.
　Father, younger brother and I checked and prepaired everything was over it was midnight.

　時差に慣れている私でも、経験のない早朝6時の講演だ。
　参加者は早起きなのだろうが、私は眠っていない。
　国会議員、市長、県会議員、市会議員などの政治家をはじめとして、
　様々なジャンルの企業家などが会員として互いを高め合っている。
　演題は「ソフトパワー文化」聴講者は75名。
　危機だからこそ、人の心を支えてくれるのは文化であることを話させていただいた。
　それにしても、早朝に参加者全員の明るく元気な振る舞いには驚いた。
　そして、真剣な生き様に敬服した。
　私は結局、徹夜でこの日を過ごした。しかし、充実した一日でもあった。

　Even I am used to be difference in time, but my lecture started 6:00 AM in such an early morning
　without the experience.Even if a participant is early riser, but I did not sleep.Including
　the politicians such as a Diet member, the mayor, a member of prefectural assembly,
　the councilor, the industrialists of various genres raise each other as a member.

　I talked about it being culture to support the heart of the person simply because it was a crisis.Still,
　I was surprised at the behavior cheerful brightly of all the participants early in the morning.

　短い時間ではあったが、工芸家の心がひとつになった。
　山野之義金沢市長をはじめとして、会場となっている大和百貨店、
　名鉄エムザ、金沢21世紀美術館と案内させて頂いた。
　復興には相当の時間を要するであろう。作家として何ができるか？
　多くの仲間とともに行動していこうと思う。

　The East Japan great earthquake disaster revival charity exhibition started

　石川県で最大の総合美術展である第67回現代美術展が石川県立美術館で開かれている。
　私は審査員も務めたこともあり、工芸分野の解説を行った。
　スポーツに例えれば工芸は、五感の総合競技であり、卓越した作家には第六感が存在していることなどを解説させていただいた。

　The 67th Contemporary Art Exhibition that is a maximum general art exhibition is held in an
　Ishikawa Prefectural art museum.
　I have acted as the judge and commented on the field of craft Art.
　Iif craft is compare to sports. It will be the general competition of the five senses,
　and higher artists are sheared with intuition from the five senses.

　石川県立金沢泉丘高校の入学式が行われ、祝辞を述べさせて頂いた。
　この高校は県下有数の進学校なのだが、教師、生徒、親、素晴らしい関係が成り立っている。
　震災直後でもあり、私なりに考えた言葉を述べさせて頂いたつもりだ。

　本年、私がPTA会長を務めることになったのだが、次男は3年生となり在学中なのだが、私が会長になったことを激怒している。
　気持が解らないでもない。最初で最後の経験なのだが、子供には迷惑かけて申し訳ない。
　しかし私自身、高校の入学式を覚えているが、PTA会長の挨拶など覚えていない。
　所詮そのようなものかもしれない！

　An entrance ceremony of Ishikawa Prefectural Kanazawa Izumigaoaka High School was held and
　I spoke a congratulatory address.
　This high school is throughout the prefecture eminent entrance into a school of higher grade school,
　and a teacher, a student, a parent, splendid relations..
　It was just after an earthquake disaster and intend to have given the words that I thought about for them.
　In this year, I acted as Chairperson at PTA, but my second son become a third grade,
　but he is getting angly at I am chairperson.
　I completly understand his feeling.It is the last experience by a beginning,
　but I am sorry for a nuisance for my son.

　However, I remember myself, the entrance ceremony of my high school,
　but I do not remember greetings of the Chairperson at PTA.
　It may be such a thing after all!

　東日本大震災復興チャリティー工芸展の概要をマスコミ各社に対して金沢市役所
　で記者発表を行った。金沢21世紀美術館館長 秋元雄史氏は展覧会のコンセプト、
　メディアクリエータ 宮田人司氏は３カ所（大和百貨店／名鉄エムザ／金沢21世紀美術館）のウオークラリー、
　私は150人以上の作家に参加要請というそれぞれの担当で企画したことを説明した。
　マスコミ各社は関心を寄せており、期待が大きいことを実感した。
　そしてこの展覧会を「craft for the people」とネーミングした。

　We performed a news release by the summary of the East Japan great earthquake disaster revival
　charity crafts exhibition at KanazawaCity hall office for the media companies.
　kanazawa 21st century Museum director Akimoto Yuji, as for concept of the exhibition,
　media creator Hitoshi Miyata, three places of
　 (Daiwa department store / Meitetsu emuza / Kanazawa 21st century Museum) walk rallies,
　I asked more than 150 artists for participation request, we explained what we planned by each others.
　The media companies had interest and realized that expectation was big.We named
　“Craft for the people” for this charity crafts exhibition.

　金沢21世紀美術館で行われたこの展覧会は、10日間の開催で20041人の鑑賞者が訪れた。
　昨年の東京都美術館で開催した時に比べれば、倍以上の結果を残したことにもなる。
　役員とともに石川県知事、金沢市長、金沢21世紀美術館館長、石川県立美術館長、
　NHK金沢放送局長などを表敬訪問することによって感謝を述べさせて頂いた。
　そして、北國新聞社を訪れて展覧会の経緯の取材を受け、社長である飛田秀一氏に面会し、
　展覧会からの皆様の善意である義援金100万円をお渡しさせて頂いた。

　A person of 20,041 visited this exhibition held in Kanazawa 21st Century Museum
　for 10-days.It was the result that was more than double when we held it in Tokyo
　metroporitan Museum of the last year.We visisted to the art museum director,
　NHK Kanazawa broadcast, Governor Ishikawa, Mayor Kanazawa, Kanazawa,,,,etc
　And we finally visited the Hokkoku Newspaper and it was interviewed for the process of
　the exhibition and met Shuichi Tobita who was the president and handed contribution
　1 million yen from an exhibition.

　67回目を迎える現代美術展の審査員を務めさせて頂いた。
　この展覧会は石川県内最大の公募展でもあり、洋画、日本画、彫刻、工芸、書道、写真など６分野に別れており、
　審査によって1127点が陳列されることになった。
　一般公募から選ばれた各分野からの最高賞の作品は、さらに厳正な監査によって美術文化特別賞となる。
　私は審査員を代表して選ばれた工芸作品を説明させていただいたのだが、見事にその作品が美術文化特別賞となった。
　若い作家の輝く受賞を手助けできたことを誇りに思えた一瞬だった。

　I was a judge of the 67th Contemporary Art Competition.
　This exhibition is a biggest for participants exhibition in Ishikawa, and 1,127 artist work will be exhibited
　from oil painting, Japanese painting, sculpture,craft, calligraphy, photograph, 6 fiels are included.
　The work of the highest award from each chosen field becomes the art culture special prize by fairer
　inspection from a general open call for participants.
　I explained one ighest craft work chosen on behalf of a judge,
　but the work became the art culture special prize wonderfully.
　I was happy when I was able to be proud of my help with the receiving a prize to glisten of a young artist.

　デザイナー 麹谷宏先生とは茶美会を通じた長い御付き合いだ。
　故 伊住政和宗匠、故 田中一光氏との出会いの橋渡しをさせて頂いたのわたしなのだが、
　その際に茶美会という新しい茶のかたちを模索する会が生まれた。
　25年も前のことなのだが、建築家、デザイナー、学識者、工芸家で構成されたこの試みは、
　雑誌などでも何度も取り上げられ大きな反響となった。その時に出会ったのが麹谷先生なのだ。

　東大寺二月堂で行われたのだが、まず口にしたのは米国ナパバレーのKENZO ESTATEのワイン、
　そしてチーズなどを点心として食した。
　立礼棚もBARのカウンターイメージされたものだろう。
　今、千利休がもし生きていたら？このような茶のかたちで人々にもてなしていたのかもしれない。
　麹谷先生の茶は、理にかなった現代茶会だった。奈良まで出向いて本当に良かった。

　Designer Hiroshi Kojitani and I are long time friend through the SABIE tea group.
　it was encounter, I mediated with late Masakazu Izumi (tea master),
　and late Ikko Tanaka(designer). And it was groped of new tea style called SABIE.
　It was over 25 years, but, as for this trial that consisted of an architect, a designer, intelligence,
　craft artist, even magazines were taken up many times, and it was with a big reaction.
　At that time, I could meet Mr Kojitani.
　It was performed in Todai-ji Temple Nigatsu-do Hall,
　but at first thing was set wine of KENZO ESTATE of American Napa Valley and cheese.
　Tea cabinet probably will be imaged from BAR counter.
　If Sen Rikyu lives now?
　he may have treated us with this tea form to people.
　His tea idea was malted by logical modern tea ceremony.
　I went to Nara by car and it was really good idea.

　東日本震災復興支援工芸チャリティー展開催のために金沢市役所に集まった関係者。
　この中だけでも日本芸術院会員２名、人間国宝3名が参加している。
　All kind of craft fields key parson were gathered at kanazawa City Hall.
　There are 2 of Japanese Academy members and 3 of living national treasures are included.


　先般の東日本震災は大惨事となった。
　工芸家として私に何ができるのか？とりあえず私なりに行動してみた。
　金沢には多くの工芸施設が存在している。そして多くの工芸家が住んでいる。
　金沢市、金沢市工芸協会が中心となって、市内の各工芸団体に呼びかけた。
　金沢美術工芸大学、金沢卯辰山工芸工房、金沢学院の教授、卒業生、学生
　日本芸術院会員、人間国宝から学生まで300人以上が参加するだろう。
　会場は、金沢市内の２カ所の百貨店と金沢21世紀美術館の３カ所
　4月13日から同時に開催する。
　テーマは「Crafts for the People」
　工芸家が心をひとつにしてチャリティー展を開く。

　The recent East Japan earthquake disaster became the catastrophe.
　What can I do as a artist?I acted by myself anyway.

　There are many craft institutions in Kanazawa.
　And many artists live.Kanazawa Craft Council asked each craft group of cities.
　Probably Higher than 300 will participate for this exhibition.
　Kanazawa College of Arts, Utatsuyama Crafts Center are from facurities, alumini and presnt students.
　The member of the Japan Art Academy, Living national treasure to a student will
　be over 300 artist to atted for this.
　We will exhibit two places of department stores and Kanazawa the 21st century museum.
　And we start on three places of April 13 at the same time.

　As for the theme, "Crafts for the People" all craft artist sheare for this charity exhibition with a heart as one.

　第50回日本現代工芸美術展を記念して金沢21世紀美術館内の茶室で茶会を催した。
　先般の東北関東大震災での被災者の追悼、そして故人となられた先輩作家の作品を用いながら、
　50年の歴史を振り返る茶会となったが、420人の方々が訪れた。

　今回、作家自らがもてなした茶会に多くの方々から温かい言葉を頂いた。
　茶会が終わり地震被災者への義援箱を開けてみた。多くの善意がよせられていた。
　日本の茶道は、あらゆる想いを人に伝えることができる。
　それは、すばらしい芸術表現の場でもあり、我々は多くを学んだと思う。

　We held a tea ceremony in commemoration of the 50th Japan Contemporary Arts and Crafts Competition
　in the tea-ceremony room in the Kanazawa 21st Century Museum.
　It was meaning of the recent Northeast Kanto great earthquake disaster and looking back toward the
　history of 50 years while using the work of the mourning of the victim and the deceased and a become
　senior artista. It was 420 guest visited for this event.
　Many people gave warm words to us for the tea ceremony that artista ourself treated this time.
　When tea ceremony was over and opened donationbox to an earthquake victim.
　Much good will was there.
　The Japanese tea ceremony can tell every thought to a person.
　It is a place of splendid art expression, and I think we had learn most.

　公開シンポジウム／Public Symposium


　今回の50年を記念して記念シンポジウムを開催した。場所は金沢赤羽ホール。
　参加者は俳優／画家 片岡鶴太郎氏、ファションデザイナー コシノヒロコ氏、金沢21世紀美術館館長 秋元雄史氏、
　評論家 伊東順氏、東京藝術大学学長 宮田亮平氏、そして、NHKアナウンサー 二見和男氏がコーディネーターを務めた。
　長い50年の歴史を振り返り、今、
　日本人として問われていることを未来の工芸の為に話す場であったのだが大きな地震の直後でもあり、
　立ち直る為には命の尊さを問い直す必要さがテーマとなった。
　時折、涙する場面もあったのだが、パネラー、参加者が一体となったすばらしいシンポジウムとなった。
　このシンポジウムもNHKの方々とともに下作りをしてきたので、
　このような状況でも集まって頂いたパネラーには感謝を申し上げたい。
　尚、この模様は、NHKで全国放映されることになっている。

　IT was memorialized this 50 years and held a commemorative symposium.
　The place is Akabane hall,Kanazawa.
　As for the participant, actor & painter Mr Kataoka Tsurutaro , fFashion designer Miss Koshino Hiroko,
　President of Kanazawa 21st Century museum Mr Akimoto Yuji, Commentator Mr Ito Junji,
　President of Tokyo College of art Mr Miyata Ryohei and NHK announcer Kazuo Futami.
　It looked back on the history of 50 years, and it was the place that spoke what was asked as a
　Japanese for future craft arts, but the necessity to question preciousness of the life to recover itself
　just after that of the big earthquake just became the theme.
　There was the scene which occasionally shed tears, but became the splendid symposium where a panelist,
　participants were united.
　Because this symposium made bottoms with various places of NHK,
　even such situation wants to tell the panelist who had us gather about thanks.
　In addition, this design will be televised nationwide in NHK.

　懇親会の場で紹介された審査員 於 ホテル日航金沢
　All judges were introduced at dinner party at Kanazawa Nikko Hotel


　50年の歴史を記念して金沢21世紀美術館で本展が開幕した。
　しかし、東北関東大震災の被災で日本は大きな苦境に立つ中で開催は危ぶまれた。
　実行委員である私は、この展覧会のために2年もの歳月を仲間の作家とともに費やしてきた。
　展覧会の開催、全国から金沢へ集まる600人の懇親会、著名人を招いての公開シンポジウム、
　など大切な行事が2日間の間に企画されていたのだ。この間、仲間も私も不休不眠の状態だった。
　全国各地、追悼で次々にイベントが中止されていくなかで、我々が決めたことがあった。
　「全国から集まる仲間が仲間を追悼し、先駆けて義援するのが本来の作家の姿である。」
　結局予定の行事を参加者の心で催せた結果となった。

　この展覧会は50年の歴史を積み重ねてきた。
　現代工芸美術家協会が主催をして、文化勲章、文化功労者、日本芸術院会員、
　東京藝術大学学長などを務める数々の作家を輩出してきた。被災地には我々の仲間が60人ほどいる。
　手を取り合い生きていこうと思う。

　This main exhibition began in commemoration of the history of 50 years, and it was held at
　Kanazawa the 21st century Museum.

　However, in Japan, the holding was anxious about by the suffering of the Northeast Kanto great
　earthquake disaster while I rose in the difficult situation.I am one of the executive committee
　menber and spent two years with other fellow friends for this exhibition.The important events such
　as public symposiums, 600 social gatherings, dinner party,
　celebrities who gathered from the whole country to Kanazawa were planned during two days.
　Both friend and I were states of the nonstop operation sleeplessness the other day.
　We had decided it while an event was canceled by each place of the whole country,
　mourning in sequence."A friend gathering from the whole country mourns for a friend,
　and it is the figure of the original artists we lead it, and to do gien".
　It followed that we were able to hold a planned event for the heart of the participant after all.

　This exhibition accumulated the history of 50 years.
　Association of artist had acted as a Cultural Medal, persons of cultural merits,
　member of the Japan Academy of Arts, Tokyo College of Art university president.
　There are our approximately 60 friends in the stricken area.
　We intend I take each other's hands, and to live.

　東京大学には茶道部があり６０名ぐらいで活動しているそうだ。
　３年前ぐらいだろうか、滝健太郎君という学生と出会った。
　その時「卒業する時、金沢でお会いできませんか？」そのように言われた。
　彼はそれを実現し、卒業する仲間14人と共に訪ねてきた。そsれぞれの道に進む彼らの将来はとても楽しみだ。

　There is tea ceremony club in Tokyo University and seems to be active in around 60 people.
　It would be three years ago or met a student called waterfall Kentaro.
　Then when "graduate, cannot meet me in Kanazawa?"
　I was said like that.He realized it and visited with 14 friends who graduated.
　In their future , I am a pleasure very　looking forward.

　東京•上野での日本現代工芸美術展の審査の最終的な仕事を終え、
　有楽町にある国際フォーラムで開催されている現代工芸アートフェアに移動、
　そして夕方には金沢市工芸展のギャラリートーク、レセプションのために金沢へ帰った。

　ギャラリートークは、受賞した若い作家達による作品の説明の場でもある。
　この展覧会には伝統的な仕事に取り組む職人的な作家から、現代アートに直結する作家までが出品している。
　彼らのトークを熱心に聞く多くの参加者がいることは、
　金沢の人々は工芸に対する理解の許容範囲の広さを示しているのではないだろうか。

　I finished the final work for the judge of Japan contemporary craft Competition in Tokyo Ueno,
　moved to Craft Art Fair in Yurakucho, and returned to Kanazawa for the gallery talking,
　reception of the Kanazawa City Crafts Art Competition.
　The gallery talking is a chance of the explanation of the work by young artist.
　Traditional work exhibits from craftman also work connected directly with contemporary
　art from a crafts in this exhibition.
　Many participants were hearing their talking, I wonder if the people of Kanazawa had high level of the
　understanding for the icrafts, it is prooving of high tolerance level.

　第1回現代工芸アートフェア ”KOGEI TOKYO 2011”は2011年3月5日、6日に東京国際フォーラムで開催された。
　現代の日本を代表する工芸作家55人による大規模な展覧会であり、私もその招待作家として出品させていただいた。
　作家それぞれの主張する空間構成で発表された工芸を中心としたこのようなイベントは日本で初めての試みでもある。

　2011 Craft fair "KOGEI TOKYO" was held in Tokyo international forum on 5th and 6th on March,
　2011 in the large-scale exhibition by 55 artists.
　Such an event mainly on the craft is the first trial in Japan.
　The work of each artist was performed by each spaces, and I participated as 55 artists.

　3月1日から5日まで谷中田美術（東京）において、
　全国から推挙された30人の審査員によって第50回日本現代工芸美術展の審査会が行われた。
　５日間にわたる長い期間を要した審査によって、300点の入選、そして内閣総理大臣賞、文部科学大臣賞、
　現代工芸大賞など受賞する作品が選考された。
　正式発表は3月10日となっている。

　The Judge committee of the 50th Japanese Contemporary craft & Arts Competition was performed in
　Yacyuta art (Tokyo) from March 1 to 5th by 30 judges recommended as from the whole country.
　By the judgement that needed the long period for five days of 300 acsepted works and works
　to win such as were selected in Prime Minister Prize, Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and
　Technology Prize and Contemporary Craft grand prix. The official announcement is March 10.

　高円宮久子妃殿下,駐日スイス大使夫妻を迎え、日本とスイスとの友好を記念したフォーマルディナーパーティーが催された。
　近衞忠煇氏（日本赤十字社社長）が日本スイス協会会長を務められており、
　友人でもある衆議院議員•小宮山泰子氏、母上である小宮山乃理子氏のお誘いで出席させて頂いた。
　日本の社交界を代表する方々ばかりの列席ではあったが、別次元の楽しみなことがあった。
　プレゼント抽選会で私の手に握っていた「80番」！素敵なスーツケースが見事に的中！とてもラッキーだった。

　Social festivity was held, with the gracious appearance of H.I.H. Princess Takamado,
　and under the patronage of H.E. Ambassador of Switzerland and Mrs. Bucher,
　it will provide one of the few prestigious international social stages in Tokyo.
　It was held by Chairperson at Japanese Swiss association Mr Konoe Tadateru
　(President at Japanese Red Cross Society),
　and I was attended by an invitation of Yasuko Komiyama who was a friend and member of the House of
　Representatives, also Mrs Noriko Komiyama who was her mother.
　It was the attendance many of various places on behalf of Japanese polite society,
　but it might be the pleasure of the other dimension.
　"The 80th" that I grasped in my hand in a present lottery!
　A wonderful suitcase hits the mark wonderfully!
　I was very lucky.

　1975/07/30 玉川学園高等部修学旅行。小関真由美さん、隣は信じられない私。北海道美幌峠にて
　I watched this photograph which we took by a school excursion
　(Hokkaidou Mihoro Mountain Pass) together before sleeping.


　高校時代（1974-1977玉川学園高等部）親友だった小関真由美さんが夢に現れてきました。
　修学旅行で一緒に撮った写真を眠る前に見たのがきっかけとなったのだと思います。
　彼女は20年以上前に亡くなってしまいましたが、学生時代の姿でした。
　当然、私もその頃の自分でしたが、何故か金沢を案内していました。
　彼女はとても嬉しそうでした。
　この夢を忘れたくないと想いFBに書いてみました。

　Mayumi Koseki who was a close friend (1974-1977 Tamagawagakuen High School)) and she was in my
　dream in this morning.
　I think that it was a chance to have watched the photograph which we took by a school excursion
　together before sleeping.
　She had died more than 20 years ago, but it was the figure of school days.
　Naturally I was oneself of that time, too, but guided Kanazawa for some reason.She looked so happy.
　I wrote to the thought FB that I did not want to forget this dream.

　「第三回ラグジュアリー・ライフスタイル国際会議」が石川県立音楽堂で催された。
　この会議は、ラグジュアリーな人々は、“日本の旅”にたいしてどのような価値を求めているのか考察することを目的としている。
　草月流家元 勅使河原 茜氏、加賀屋副社長 小田與之彦とともに、第二部に登壇した私は、
　石川県が持つ観光資源としての「食文化」「伝統工芸」について語り合った。
　そして、2014年北陸新幹線開業までに、金沢駅、小松空港、
　能登空港などに愛称を付けて観光客に親しみもたせることを私は提案させていただいた。

　"The third luxury lifestyle international conference" was held in an Ishikawa Prefectural concert hall.
　This meeting is intended that we consider that what kind of value the luxurious people demand
　for "a trip of Japan".
　With Sogetsu Ikebana head master of a school Teshigawara akane, Vice President Kagaya Oda Yoshihiko,
　I who went on the platform in Part 2 talked about a "food culture" "Arts and craft" as the tourist
　attractions that Ishikawa had.
　And I suggested that I let I touched a nick name in Kanazawa Station, Komatsu Airport,
　Noto Airport and got close to a tourist and have by the Hokuriku Shinkansen opening of business in 2014.

　22日、金沢で「片町まつり」は金沢市の金沢エクセルホテル東急で開かれ、
　石川県県社交料飲生活衛生同業組合理事長 梅村光男理事長が「北陸新幹線金沢開業を見据え、
　金沢 の情緒あふれるまちづくりに尽力したい」とあいさつ、山野之義金沢市長が祝辞を述べた 。
　梅村理事長の友人で俳優の岩城滉一 さんや、デヴィ・スカルノ元インドネシア大統領夫人も出席した。

　そして、岩城滉一さんや、デヴィ・スカルノ元インドネシア大統領夫人などと二次会、三次会と語り合った。

　23日、岩城滉一さんと梅村光男さんは高校時代（日大津鶴が丘高校）からの親友だ。
　そのような縁もあって私は弟のように御付き合いをいただいている。
　３月には金沢でテレビ取材もあるようで、その下見のために大樋工房、大樋美術館などを視察された。

　毎年この時になると研修生の講評に出かける。今回も陶芸家 板橋廣美氏とともに行った。
　板橋氏は、学生、若い世代から熱烈な支持を受けており、数年前から金沢美術工芸大学陶芸科教授として金沢に在住されている。
　彼が金沢美大に招聘されたことで学生達の質も大きく向上した。
　今日、志を高くする学生達に教育者がどのように接していくべきか問われている。
　彼は優れた陶芸家であり、それを実践している。
　私も大変尊敬しているのだが、彼とともに行った講評は私自身が研修者とともに学習する場でもあった。

　Itabashi receives ardent support from a student, a young generation,

　He is a superior ceramist and practices it.

　政治とは無関係な私なのだが、来賓として紹介していただいた

　衆議院議員であり、みんなの党代表でもある渡辺喜美氏が金沢で講演された。
　議員になられる前から知人などの紹介で、何度かお目にかかっている。
　そして、彼の生き様がとても興味深いこともあって話しを聞かせて頂いた。
　話題の映画ソーシャルネットワークの主人公のように、自らの意見を貫きとおして世界を切り開いていく人物はそうはいない。
　私には、彼がその主人公であり、考えが広まればFACE BOOKのようになるのかもしれない。
　彼は歴史に残るこれからの政治家となるだろう。
　日本そして金沢、美術や工芸、どこの領域でも同じことが起こっている。
　社会はこのままではいけない。そして過去の全てを否定するものでもない。
　勇気をいただいた気がする。

　フードピア金沢は、各料亭などで著名人を囲んで、食談を通じて金沢の冬の味覚を心ゆくまで愉しみ、
　文化を語るイベントなのだが、これで25年続いたことになる。
　白州正子氏、岡本太郎氏、加山又造氏、勅使河原宏氏などは故人となられたが、
　これまで数えきれないほどの講師を私はコーディネトしながら知り合うことができてきた。
　これを支援する地元経済人の方々のお陰で、このような機会を得ることができたことに感謝しなければならない。

　今回は講師として、金沢ではもっともハイグレイドな料亭のひとつでもある「浅田屋」に招かれた。
　20名限定の参加者なのだが、いつも何か在るとニューヨーク、台湾などでも必ず駆けつけてくれる石神敬子さん、
　石神綾子さんをはじめとして全国からお集りいただいた。

　「危機の時だから支えてくれる文化」と題して講演させていたのだが、その後の食談は、金沢商工会議所会頭深山彬氏の乾杯、
　同副会頭蚊谷八郎氏の挨拶もあり、地元経済界の方々からも応援いただき大変な盛り上がりの場となった。

　from the whole country.I give a lecture titled "the culture that supported because it was time of the crisis",
　but, as for by later dinner, there were a toast of Kanazawa chamber of commerce director Akira Miyama,
　the greetings of vice-director Katani Hachiro, and I had support from the various places of the

　文化芸術創造都市推進事業の一環として、金沢市内に潜在するクリエイティブ・ツーリズム資源
　（アート&クラフトの工房，ギャラリー，町屋，茶室等）を巡るまちなか回遊の
　クリエイティブ・ツーリズムシステムが試みられている。
　その一環として行われた。今回の私がガイドをする半日は、参加者の学習意欲が高くて、私自身にとっても、
　とても楽しくて有意義なものだった。

　各界の第一人者を招きセミナーが開催された。
　2月5日、私はセミナーC 「メイド・イン・ジャパンのものづくり」
　中島信也氏、鄭秀和氏とともにパネルディスカッションに参加させて頂いた。
　また、場所を移して湯涌温泉かなや旅館において、講師と参加者による夜塾が開催された。

　金沢にはmade in kanazawaとして誇れることが多くあるはずだ。
　今、権威があっても見識が伴わない人々が、権限を行使する社会が破綻している。
　金沢に住む我々は、早くそのことに危機感をもって取り組んでいかなければならない。
　講師を務めさせていただいたが、他の講師や参加者から逆にそのことを学んだ気がする。

　Just flew back from Tokyo, and saw the beautiful HAKUSAN Mountain


　昨日まで金沢は記録的な大雪で、金沢駅からの全ての電車が運休した。
　長い鉄道の歴史の中でも初めてのことだそうだ。
　そんなことがあっても翌日になると飛行機は東京に向かって飛んでくれたのだ。
　現在、工房で作品制作に没頭しているのだが、体調も良くなかったこともあったからか気がつけば今年になって初めての東京滞在だ。
　しかも、たった24時間ほどなのだが、、、、
　辰巳琢郎氏が主演する「サイモン•ヘンチの予期せぬ一日」（東京•渋谷•全労済ホール）を鑑賞した。
　彼が演じた役柄は、膨大な台詞から演じなければならない変わり者の主人公だった。
　本当に芝居を愛している彼しか演じることができない、難しい人物を見事に表現していたと思う。

　ロサンゼルスの自宅で妹 由美が亡くなって今日で４年の歳月が過ぎた。
　時が経つのは早い。
　旅立った時間に合わせ経を上げた。
　在りし日の妹を想い、今日、心に誓ったことがある。
　外は大雪を通り越して、記録的な豪雪となりそうだ。

　坐忘斎御家元のもとで、彼は裏千家業躰部講師として国内外を飛び回っている。
　そして、金沢では裏千家始祖である仙叟宗室の屋敷跡で茶道を教えている。
　茶会はその屋敷で行われ、新年会はホテル日航金沢で開かれた。
　東京、横浜、四日市、岡山、富山など全国からの社中合わせて100人以上が集まった。

　He teaches Tea Ceremony around the inside and outside the country .And he held the own first year tea ceremony.
　And he teachs tea ceremony with a house trace of Senso-Soshitu which is
　the person of urasenek founder used in Kanazawa around 1666.
　The tea ceremony was held in that house, and the new annual party was held in Hotel Japan Airlines Kanazawa.
　Tokyo, Yokohama, Yokkaichi, Okayama,Toyama,100 or more hisschool
　from the whole country atend for this new year event.

　ずっと雪が降っている。私の工房は金沢の山間部だから雪が深い。
　工房内にある民家の襖が開きにくくなった。屋根に積もった雪のためだ。
　アシスタントの皆で屋根から雪を降ろした。
　子供の頃の記憶にはあるが、最近はこれほどに雪は積もらない。
　しかし、皆で話しながら楽しい半日の時間でもあった。
　今、工房で制作をずっとしているが、寒波はまだ続くらしい。

　It snows all the time.
　Because my studio is the mountain side of Kanazawa, snow is deep.
　The sliding paper-door of the private house in the studio is hard to have become open.
　It is snowy sake piled up on a roof.
　I brought down snow from the roof in everybody of the assistant.
　There is it in the memory in the days of the child, but the snow is not piled up like this recently.
　However, it was time of the half day that was happy while talking together.
　I amvery hard to make work all the time in a studio, but the cold wave seems to still continue now.

　個展会場での滝谷美香さん／Painter Takiya Mika at Ponte Gallery Kanazawa


　金沢の有望な若手作家が展覧会をすることで知られるPONTEという画廊がある。
　今回は滝谷由香さんの個展が行われている。
　彼女は新潟県上越市生まれで、新潟大学、同大学院を卒業して現在も新潟市を拠点に活動する画家だ。
　以前、金沢のアートプロジェクトで一緒になったことから交友が続いている。
　彼女の絵は、淡い色使いの中で独特の視点で捉えた異次元な表現が魅力的だ。
　悲しさの中に喜び、暗さの中に明るさ、逆の伝え方なのかもしれない。
　彼女の今後が楽しみだ。

　There is an art gallery called PONTE known as a promising young artists of Kanazawa doing an exhibition.
　A drawing exhibition of Takiya Yuka is carried out this time.
　She is born in Joetsu-shi, Niigata, and I graduate from Niigata University,
　and same graduate school. She is the painter who is active in the foothold in
　Niigata-shi now.Because I met her by an art project of Kanazawa before.
　As for her painting, the expression that is other dimension which I arrested in a unique
　viewpoint among light color trainers is attractive.
　It may be to be brightness from darkness, joyful mind from sadness.
　I look forward to her future.

　23年の歴史を積み重ねてきたこの展覧会。私も審査員を23年間務めさせていただいている。
　この展覧会から受賞を重ねてプロになった人もいる。
　授賞式の際に審査好評をさせて頂いたのだが、出品者の真剣さに毎回驚いている。

　This exhibition which accumulated the history of 23years.
　I am a judge for 23 years, too.
　I repeat receiving a prize from this exhibition, and there is the person who became professional.
　In the case of an award ceremony, I did an examination favorable reception,
　but am surprised at the gravity of the exhibitor every time.

　2011.1.11 沢山１が並ぶ成人式の日に着物姿の娘 20歳！
　It is daughter 20 years old dressed in the kimono on the day of the coming-of-age ceremony that all 1 stands in!


　娘が20歳になった。
　現在、東京にいるのだが、なかなか家には帰って来ない。
　「成人の日」金沢に帰って来た。
　私には、もう長い間の反抗期なのだが
　成人式での娘を父親は写真を撮りまくった。
　不機嫌で怒られたけど、写真はいつか必ず想い出となるはずだ。
　着物姿の娘。少しだけだったけど話してくれてありがとう。

　My daughter became 20 years old.
　She is in Tokyo, but do not readily return to the house now.
　She returned to Kanazawa in "Coming-of-Age Day".
　For me, it was already authority-resisting age of the long time, but father took a photograph and rolled up
　the daughter by the coming-of-age ceremony.
　Though it was angry in bad humor, the photograph should become the memory by all means sometime in future.
　The daughter dressed in the kimono.
　Thank you for talking a little for me.

　金沢尾山神社で朝7時に始まる新年七種祝儀に列席した。
　古くから病魔退散と縁起を祈る七種の行事だ。
　日本では延喜11年（991年）に、この行事が行われていた記録も残っている。
　前田家18代当主•前田利祐氏の主宰で厳粛に行われるのだが、早朝で雪、そして零下の気温で行われたのだが、
　新年として気持も新たなものとなったが、修行のようでもあった。

　I attended the meeting of the morning gruel which began in Kanazawa Oyama-jinja Shrine at 7:00 a.m.It is seven
　kinds of herbes to pray for illness breaking up and an omen for a long time.
　The record that this event was carried out for Engi era 11 years (991) is left in Japan.
　It was hosted by 18th present head of a household * Toshiyasu Maeda,
　but it was performed at temperature of snow and the 0 degree in the morning,
　but the feeling became new as the New Year, too, but it seemed to be ascetic practices.

　片岡鶴太郎さんは誰もが知る俳優だ。そして画家としても高い評価を受けている。
　すでに何度か我家を訪れており、初代大樋長左衛門が作った「烏香炉」なども描かれている。
　私は彼の芸術家としての高い資質を尊敬しており、有り難いことに彼とは長い交友がある。
　金沢香林坊大和で彼の個展が開かれている。そのための金沢での滞在だったのだが、我家で制作することも大きな目的でもあった。
　皿の絵付け、茶碗制作、そして兎などの絵を水彩で描いて頂いた。
　人に感動を与える彼の作品は、彼の制作する姿勢によって生まれることを実感する機会でもあった。

　その後の夕食を共にして、飲み歩きながら帰宅は翌朝3時となってしまったが、本当に楽しい時間でもあった。
　鶴太郎さん、ありがとう！！！

　None of the Tsurutaro Kataoka is an actor to know.
　And he receive a high evaluation as a painter.
　He has already visited my home several times, and "the crow incense burner" which first Chozaemon Ohi made.
　I respect the high nature as his artist, and there is the friend who fortunately is long time with him.
　His private exhibition is held in Korinbou, Kanazawa Daiwa.
　It was a stay in Kanazawa of that purpose, but it was a big purpose to make art in my home.
　He had drawing of the plate, made tea bowls and the paintings such as rabbits in painting with watercolors.
　It was the opportunity when his work which impressed people realized that itwas born by the posture
　from his making art.

　I shared the later supper, and the return had been 3:00 on the next morning while going barhopping,
　but it was really happy time.

　日本画家、中路融人先生の喜寿記念個展にて
　Exhibition of Mr. Nakaji Yujin. he is Japanese painter, and celebrate his 77 years memory.


　日本画家、中路融人先生の喜寿記念個展を見に行った。
　先生は日本芸術院会員、金沢学院大学教授でもあり、日展でも活躍されておりお目にかかれることが多い。
　水と自然、風土に親しんだ事が感化した風景画は独特のものだった。

　I visited private exhibition of Mr. Nakaji Yujin. he is Japanese painter,
　and celebrate his 77 years memory.He is member of the Japan Academy of Arts,
　Kanazawa academy university professor and one of imprtant Nitten member.
　So I can often see him.The paysage which it influenced to have got close to water and nature,
　the climate was a unique thing.

　今年は兎年。私の父も兎年だ。
　彼曰く、「兎のように思う所へジャンプ！」
　第50回記念日本現代工芸美術展、第52回現代美術展の審査員となることが内定している。
　主要な地域では大きな個展が予定されている。また、春先には私がデザイン監修するTOYOTAショールームが竣工する。
　現在の社会情勢を鑑みれば、そのようなことが決まっていることは誠に有り難いことだと思う。
　古さの中に新しさ、新しさの中に古きを尋ね、斬新な作品を発表したいと思っている。
　自らのためにも大きく飛躍する年にしなければならない。
　その誓をたてた。

　古典を見つめ直す。伝統的な作品に挑む。
　自らを見つめるために旅に出る。現代的な作品に挑む。
　陶芸家、デザイナーとして中国、海外での活動を更に充実させる。
　誰であっても謙虚に、そして思ったことを恐れずに発言する。

　見守ってほしい。

　It is the rabbit year this year.
　My father is the rabbit year, too.
　Say him; "jump to the thinking place like a rabbit"!
　It is arranged informally that I will be judge for the 50th memory Japan Contemporary Crafts Art eCompetition,
　and the 52nd contemporary art exhibition.
　A big private exhibition is planned in the main area.
　In addition, Toyota showroom I design it in the early spring, and to supervise is completed.
　If it takes warning by it, it thinks current social conditions to be really thankful that such a thing is decided.
　I ask old ideas in newness, newness in oldness and want to announce the novel work.
　I must make it age to make rapid progress for oneself greatly.
　I put up the *.
　I reflect a classic.
　I challenge a traditional work.
　I will go for a trip to stare at oneself.
　I challenge a modern work.
　I expand China, the activity in foreign countries as a ceramist, a designer more.
　Even if it is anyone, I speak in humbleness and that I thought fearlessly.
