　庭の松も、時を経過しながら我家を守ってくれている。

　I felt the 2013 was shortest year in my life.
　I flew all over the world for my Invitational and private exhibition, lectures, and tea ceremony.
　My main house had reconstruction for once in 100 years.
　Keeping protecting oldness and the new thing to invite into.
　I am learning that combinations.
　The red pine tree in our garden is also protecting my family with going through the time.

　He is living with old and new tradition. I respect him very much.

　大島先生のご家族とは、私が確認できるだけでも我家とは五世代のお付き合いとなる。
　本年、文部科学省表彰を受けられた。石川県の茶道には大切な指導者でもある。
　祝賀会には230名の参加者。十代長左衞門が乾杯の挨拶を務させて頂いた。

　I can only say with the family of Mr. Oshima and my family,
　it is five generations relationship. The Ministry of Education,and Culture sent him award for his activities.
　He is also a leader important for the tea ceremony of Ishikawa Prefecture.
　In a celebration party, they are 230 participants.

　今日の夜、金沢の自宅側の小道を散歩していた。
　すると猛スビードで突進する車が迫ってきた。
　脇道に寄ったのだが、右腕をぶつけられた。
　車はすぐ先を右に曲がり、あっという間に消えた。
　私は走り、追いかけても、車には追いつかない。
　警察によれば、断定することは困難なことのようだ。
　そして、私は黒いコートを着ていた。
　ドライバーには発見が遅れる。
　納得がいかない出来事なのだが
　車の後ろ姿には、間違いかもしれないが多少の記憶がある。
　今、右肩がとても痛い。

　I had a walk in the alley beside of my house the in Kanazawa tonight.
　Then, I found the high speed car.
　I stood and away, but I had crashed my arm.
　The car turned at the point on the right immediately, and was gone.
　I run, and chased, but it is difficult according to the police.
　I wear black coat and it was difficult to fine people.
　I kind of remembered back side of that car.
　Although it is an occurrence which is not satisfactory, the sight of its back of Now, my right shoulder is very painful.

　13日朝、台湾中央部に位置する南投市にある台湾国立工芸発展中心で金沢世界工芸トリエンナーレが開幕する。
　来賓として秋元雄史金沢21世紀美術館館長と共に出席する。
　小松から台北まで3時間、空港からさらに車で2時間半の移動。現地に着いたのは深夜1時30分(日本時間2時30分)
　展覧会場は設営中で、全ての確認を終えた時刻は4時。長い一日だった。

　On the morning of the 13th, the Kanazawa world crafts triennial will open focusing on the National
　Taiwan Crafts Research And Development Institute in Nantou City located in the Taiwan central part.

　With President of Kanazawa 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art Akimoto Yuji
　were invited superintendent as a guest.

　We flew from Komatsu to Taipei for 3 hours, 2 hours and a half move from an airport by car.
　We further reached there was at 1:30 at midnight (2:30 JST).
　Then we prepared the exhibition hall and finished all the checks would be at 4:00. It was kind of long day.

　すばらしい匠の技の集積が、我家の百年の体計を完成させる。
　再び、金沢の新たな歴史的名所となれれば幸いだ。

　冬の金沢には珍しい晴れ間に、台湾の大使、総領事の訪問を受けた。
　金沢と台湾の友好関係は、長くて深い。
　また、私自身も25年にわたり台湾へ出向き展覧会やワークショップを行ってきた。
　今は台南芸術大学客員教授も務めている。
　これまで、たくさんの台湾の人々の訪問を受けてきた。どの方も親日家で大切な方々だ。

　The ambassador of Taiwan and Consul-General visited to Ohi Museum today.
　The relations of Kanazawa and Taiwan are long and deep exchange.

　Moreover, I myself went out to Taiwan over 25 years, and have held the exhibition and the workshop.
　I am now received for the Tainan University of Arts visiting professor.

　I have so far been received many important visitors from Taiwan.
　Every direction is important people for Japan.

　近藤誠一・前文化庁長官などを招き議論が深まる。
　2015年春、金沢まで新幹線が開業する。時を同じくして、ユネスコ創造都市世界会議も開催される。
　金沢が国内都市や欧米、アジアと重層的な関係を築くチャンスでもある。

　エンシン01文化戦略会議会員である秋元康氏（AKB48総合プロデューサー）が企画した音楽祭が開かれた。
　今回の会議を記念して約20人の会員が、それぞれにパフォーマンスを繰り広げた。
　私は、「栄光の架け橋」（ユズ）を東海林良氏とともに、
　満員となったコンサートホールで熱唱したのだが、緊張の連続だった。
　大賞は、鎧塚敏彦氏が演じたマイケル•ジャクソンだった。４ヶ月の練習を積み重ねたそうだ。

　This music festival was planed by Mr. Yasushi Akimoto (AKB48 synthesis producer)
　In commemoration of this meeting, about 20 members has performed.

　I sang "Bridge of glory constructed " (by yuzu) in the full of people at concert hall with Mr. Ryo Shoji,
　I was continuation of strain.
　The grand-prix was Michael Jackson Danscing by Mr. Toshihiko Yoroizuka performed.
　It is said that he repeated the practice for four months.

　井沢元彦氏、麹谷宏氏に感謝。
　メンバーは講師を務めるのだが、互いが刺激を受け合っている。参加することの意義は大きい。

　建築家、隈研吾氏による設計で、我家は夏から大改修を行っている。
　金沢市指定建造物である武家屋敷の一部は新しいギャラリーとなり、金沢市指定樹木である樹齢500年以上の赤松の庭園、
　石川県指定文化財などを所蔵する大樋美術館などの敷地内は大きく生まれ変わる。
　竣工は来春。
　100年後の国宝となるよう命運をかけている。
　その夢を友人でもある隈研吾氏に託す。

　My home is performing fundamental reconstruction from summer by the Architect Mr. Kengo Kuma.
　Some of my samurai residences are listed for the Kanazawa Cultural Assets Building listed and changes to
　new gallery, and the inside of sites, such as the garden of the red pine tree beyond age-of-500 years old
　which is the Kanazawa specification trees, the Ishikawa prefecturally-designated cultural property work
　on Ohi Museum.

　Completion is next spring. I hope it may become a national treasure of 100 years after.
　The dream is entrusted to my friend of Mr. Kengo Kuma.

　彼女は、世界で活躍する、フランスの有名デザイナーだ。
　工房では、紅葉を楽しみながら散歩した。そして、茶碗を制作し始める。
　やがて、互いがリズムを合わせかのように、彼女は私の茶碗を自由自在に変えていく。
　真からのデザイナーだから、面白い茶碗がいくつか出来上がった。
　大樋美術館では、抹茶を一緒に喫しながら彼女と貴重な話ができた。

　半日は一瞬に過ぎ去った。互いに、またの再会を誓う。

　She is a French famous designer in the world.
　In my studio, while enjoying autumnal leaves, we walk together.
　And it is begun to make a tea bowl.
　Each of us were unites a rhythm soon and she changed my tea bowl freely like.
　She is real designer from truth, some interesting work had been made.
　In Ohi Museum, the precious talk was made with her, suffering tea together.
　It was short time half a day. Mutually, next reunion is promised.

　私の講演の後、谷川俊太郎氏とお会いした。
　詩人 谷川俊太郎氏は、全く年齢を感じさせない。そして、その自然な生き方に感銘を受けた。
　哲学者 谷川徹三氏は何度か我家を訪れ、作陶されたり、書を残されている。
　私の幼少の頃の記憶にある髭の老人は、谷川俊太郎氏の父でもある。
　その思い出を話すと、大変にお喜びでもあった。

　あのような素敵な老人にどうしたらなれるのだろうか？

　I had a chance to meet Mr. Shuntaro Tanigawa after my lecture.
　Poet Mr. Shuntaro Tanigawa completely does not feel his old age.
　And my impression was received in the natural way of his life.
　Philosopher Mr. Tetsuzo Tanigawa visited my home several times,
　making of his tea bowls or he left his calligraphies.
　My childhood memory was the old man of the mustache. It was Mr. Shuntaro Tanigawa's father.
　When he was spoken about the recollections,
　he was also delight.

　How can I get old gentleman just like him?

　金沢21世紀美術館で彼の展覧会が始まった。
　「筆は書家にとっての刀」「書家の人生は筆探しの旅でもある」と、彼は言う。
　書はアートたるか、己はアーティストたるか！彼の旅は続く。
　父親も書道家、5歳で書を始めた彼は正に本格派のアーティストなのだ

　His exhibition started in the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa.
　He says "a brush is a sword for a calligrapher", and "a calligrapher's life is also the trip of the search for a brush."
　Ask calligraph is art ? and ask oneself is artist ? His trip continues.
　His father was also calligrapher and he started at the age of five years old. He is just an orthodox artist.

　国立新美術館では、日展が開催されており、本日、私は工芸の説明役だ。
　一部のマスコミ報道によって、日展は苦境に追いやられている。
　正しくないことは、根本から改革しなければならない。
　しかし、そこには真摯な姿勢で努力を積み重ねてきた大勢の作家がいることも、忘れないでほしい。

　I left Kanazawa of the disordered weather by train at 6:00 in the morning.
　It was pasted Tunnel and Tokyo was fine weather.

　韓国利川陶芸美術館で開催されていたこの展覧会が終了した。
　世界の27人作家によるこのビエンナーレに、私はノミネート作家として［自然と人工の間］というテーマのもとに、
　福島第一原子力発電所の事故から起こった放射能に対する問題をコンセプトとして作品発表を行った。　
　日本、そして金沢の伝統工芸を生業にしながら、現代美術に挑戦できたことは、私にこれからの生き方を教えてくれた気がする。

　This exhibition currently held in the South Korean Icheon Ceramics Museum was completed.
　I was nominated to this biennial by the 27-artists in the world and I made a work announcement
　by making into a concept the problem to the radioactivity which happened from the
　accident of the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant.
　It was the basis of the theme [between nature and artificiality] as a nomination artist.
　I feel that that contemporary art has been challenged taught me the future way of my life,
　making the traditional ceramics of Japan and Kanazawa history.

　12日 05:20起床 06:00 石川県加賀市御菓子城加賀藩洞夢で講演。
　テーマは「温新知故—The Soft Power」

　2回の講演、睡眠2時間、そして話続けた濃厚な12時間を過ごした。
　倫理に基づき活動されている方々なので、参加者の真剣な姿に私も真摯な気持ちで話をさせて頂いた。

　started at Kaga-shi, Ishikawa Sweets Castle Kaga Dome.

　I had two lectures, sleep 2 hours and, and talk and talk! That 12 thick hours were spent.
　It was serious audience, I was also allowed to talk in an earnest feeling.

　私を訪ねるツアーは、金沢市とビュートラベルツアーが企画した。
　朝、工房で茶碗制作や焼成を実演。
　そして、我が家に移動して芳土庵で茶会、大樋美術館で解説。
　限りを尽くしておもてなしをさせて頂いた。
　早い時期から定員に達した人気ツアーだったので、真剣に取り組んだつもり。
　参加された方も大喜びだったようで、嬉しい限り。

　Kanazawa and the View Travel Agent planned the tour which visits on me.
　Tea bowl making and firing proses are demonstrated by me in a studio in the morning.
　And then they moved to my home and a tea ceremony in Hodo- an and explained history of Ohi Ware at Ohi museum.
　I have tried the best hospitality which calls Omotenashii.I felt.some sort of responsible.
　It seems to me that all those participated were glad. I am so pleasures.

　朝5時、電話は彼の危篤の知らせだった。
　誰もいない暗い道を走り、病院で美しい日の出を観た。
　そして、彼もそっと息を引き取り旅立って逝った。
　全てを知って生きた彼の最後の時間、看取ることができた。
　そして一週間前、私達は30年間にわたる友情の別れを済ませている。
　多くの人に愛され、私の事も弟のように面倒を見てくれた是良さん。
　ネッツトヨタ石川会長、トヨタレンタリース石川会長などを務め享年66歳。
　私の友人で彼を知る人は多い。

　The telephone was ringing for the notice of his serious condition at morning 5 o'clock.
　I drove In the dark road and I saw a beautiful sun rise in the hospital.
　Mr.Hasatani Shiro took care of my life for over 30 years just like his younger brother.
　And many people loved him also.
　Our man's separation is finished one week ago. He knew all this end of his life.
　He has such a beautiful and wonderful life.

　加賀藩主5代前田綱紀公は、文化を奨励した大名であり、そのことで金沢に茶道、華道、能、工芸などが今日まで連綿と続いてきた。
　その時、藩主の命によって招かれた仙叟は茶道を普及させて後に京都に戻り、裏千家を興した。
　同道した長左衞門は、金沢で大樋焼を興し、今日まで継承されてきた。
　今日、5代前田綱紀公を忍ぶ松雲会が発足した。
　特別顧問•18代前田利祐氏、裏千家鵬雲斎大宗匠、そして会長となった山出保•前金沢市長、
　そして歴史に関わる方々の参列の中、松雲会初茶会が催された。
　弟である裏千家今日庵業躰 奈良宗久の居宅は仙叟屋敷跡地（金沢市指定）でもあり、これから毎年、
　5代前田綱紀公を忍ぶ茶会が催されることになる。

　The 5th generation of Kaga local lord Maeda Tsunanori was encouraged the tea ceremony,
　flower arrangement, all other culture ability and craft have followed Kanazawa continuously untill today.
　Tea Master Senso was invited by the local lord's life spread for the way of tea,
　then returned to Kyoto and established Urasenke.
　Chozaemon was accompanied then revived Ohi ware, and has been inherited in Kanazawa till today.
　The Syounkai started for memory of the 5th generation of Maeda Tsunanori .
　Today, the18th generation Maeda Toshiyasu and Urasenke Great Grand Tea Master Hounsai 15th,
　both of them are special adviser, The Former of Kanazawa Mayor Yamade Tamotsu becomes present of
　this Syounkai attendant also.
　The Syounkai Tea Ceremony was held in attendance of these people.
　The Urasenke Foundation Professor Nara Sokyu lives house of old Senso residence,
　and from now on, the tea ceremony starts.

　私のテーブルも古くからの友人ばかりだ！この仲間の気持ちも天に伝えたい。
　伊住公一朗氏は、父親の面影とともに、裏千家の未来を担って行くことだろう。

　Urasenke family of Izumi Koichiro got married.
　I know since he was born. His father is Mr.Izumi Masakazu who was the same age and was a sworn friend.
　He will surely be pleased with the grand party exceeding 700 persons.

　My table is also only longtime friends! I would like to also convey this friend's feeling to heavens.

　Mr.Izumi Koichiro will live with a father's image,and respond for the future of Urasenke.

　石川晃下の酒造会社が一緒に発案したイベント。私はその応援団の一人。
　 朝11時、中村太郎会長の乾杯でスタート。快晴の一日、地酒と料理をを多くの人々が楽しんだ。

　The event was planed by the all sake companies in Ishikawa together.
　I am one of the cheering member.
　It starts by Chairman Taro Nakamura's toast at 11:00 in the morning.
　Many people enjoyed local brand of sake and foods.

　東京にある大好きなスパゲティ屋さん。
　出来た時から通っているので、すでに40年が過ぎている。
　以前、雑誌取材で、私の好きなレストランとして紹介したほどだ。
　今日も昼食に立ち寄った。
　数ヶ月行かなかったからか、何故か顔見知りの従業員がいない。
　とにかくいつもの定番のスパゲティをオーダーする。
　そしてLINEを開きメールを始めた。
　やがてスパゲティがテーブルに運ばれた。
　しかし、フォークナイフが用意されていない。
　そして、昼は美味しいサラダもサービスされるのだか？
　フォークナイフとサラダお願いします！すると一人の従業員は、サラダは14時までですと答えた。
　携帯を見ると、店に入ってからの私のLINEの履歴は13時58分とあった。
　味も今までとは異なるものだった。
　何も言わなかったけど、一番お気に入りのレストランを失った。悲しい。

　There is my favorite restaurant in Tokyo.
　I loved this restaurant since 40 years after established.
　I have introduced as my favorite restaurant by magazine coverage before also.
　I went for lunch today.I did not know any employee,
　but I ordered my usual time-spaghetti anyhow. And then I sent LINE e-mail.
　Spaghetti was little bit late carried by the table. However, the fork knife is not prepared.
　And normally free delicious salad also served?
　I asked them For salad with a fork knife! But the one employee answered that a salad was till 14:00 !

　I checked my cellular phone,there was a history of my LINE said 13:58.
　The taste also differed from former.
　I had nothing to say, but the most favorite restaurant was lost. I am sad.

　素晴らしい秋晴れを眺めながら、高松から福岡に到着。
　裏千家淡交会福岡支部の青年部の新体制を記念する講演者として招かれた。
　古くから福岡はアジアを意識した街でもある。
　文化からの日中韓関係、これからの展望について話をさせて頂いた。
　夜はニューオータニホテルで盛大に懇親会が催された。

　I arrived in Fukuoka from Takamatsu, looking at a wonderful fine autumn sky.
　I was invited as a lecturer who commemorates the new system of the youth Urasenke Fukuoka branch.
　Fukuoka is also known as conscious of Asia for many years.
　I was allowed to talk about the japan ,
　China and South Korean relationship and a future view in the present period from culture.

　The social gathering was held in the New Otani hotel Fukuoka in the night.

　台風一過の早期、金沢から四国•高松まで電車移動。

　四国村が企画とした、「フォリーのある風景」に参加している3組の建築家(遠藤秀平氏、手塚隆晴氏、中村勇大氏)と、
　ゲストとして招かれた私が語り合った。遠藤秀平氏は友人でもあり、ジャンルは異なるが興味ある話題となった。
　四国村は、私は武家屋敷に生まれ育ち、仕事場にも大きな民家があるからか、心に響く素晴らしい場でもあった。

　I moved from Kanazawa to Takamatsu Shikokumura by train from an early stage after
　the passage of a typhoon. 3 architects has participated in "scenery with Foley" by the Shikoku-mura .
　and I was invited as a guest talked together.

　Architect and ceramic art differed from the genre, it was also the most interesting subject for me.

　To a samurai residence, I was born and grow up, and incidentally,
　a big private house is located also in studio and I am utilizing for it.

　「米国からの富裕層を石川県へ招きたい」このミッションを石川県は真剣に取り組んでいる。
　招聘された二人は、米国やEU圏の富裕層を顧客にもつツアー会社のオーナーらしい。
　表敬してくれたのだが、歳も近かったせいか会話は大いに盛り上がった。
　私は富裕層という表現が公につかわれることに大きな問題意識をもっているのだが、
　質の高さを求める訪問者を大切に迎えなければならないことは共通している。

　The Ishikawa prefecture is tackling these missions
　"that want to invite the wealthy visitors from the U.S. to the Ishikawa prefecture."
　Seemingly two invited persons are the owners of the tour company which has the U.S.
　and the EU area wealthy customer.
　We had good conversation with each others.
　Although I have a big awareness of the issues in expression called the wealthy being used publicly,
　it is common that we must welcome for asking high quality risk.

　石川県にはとても大切な指針を策定することになっている。
　専門の大学教授や技師などがいる中で、私は委員を務めることになった。
　今日10時、初めての委員会が開かれた。建設業も概ね暗いニュースのようだ。
　県民の夢が伴うビジョンを提案しようと思う。

　It is important vision for Ishikawa prefecture.
　That is a long name but there are a specialist from college professor, an engineer, etc.,
　I am also as a committee member.
　The construction industry seems to be in dark news.
　The first committee was held today.
　I think that I will propose the vision with dream for prefecture and people

　世界各国、そして日本国内からの特別招待作家の作品と、茶に関わる全国公募からの入賞作が金沢市立中村記念美術館で陳列されている。
　16:00からのギャラリートークによって入賞作家、招待作家が自らの作品について語った。
　17:30からは金沢21世紀美術館で表彰式が開かれ、作家同士が交流する場ともなった。

　この展覧会は私が発案したのだが、茶をキーワードに新たな展開があることを確信した。

　Invitational artists from the world and all over Japan,
　also it was displayed awarding artist works from the kanazawa World Crafts Conpetition
　in Nakamura Memorial Museum, Kanazawa.
　The artists had the gallery talk from 16:00.
　The commendation ceremony was opened in the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art,
　Kanazawa from 17:30.
　Although I suggested this exhibition, it was sure of a keyword having new deployment in tea.

　私がノミネートされた韓国京畿道国際陶芸ビエンナーレは、利川市が主催している。
　そして、この町は韓国で最も大きな陶芸村として世界にも知られている。
　国連ユネスコの創造都市（工芸）として加盟してもおり、金沢も同じ認定を受けている。
　日韓茶会を主宰、「日本の工芸」「中国、朝鮮、日本の風水」などの講演なども行ったのだが、
　微力だが少しは文化の橋渡しに貢献できたかもしれない。

　City of Icheon is sponsoring the South Korean Kyonggi international ceramic art
　biennale which I was also nominated.
　And this town is known as biggest ceramic art village in South Korea also in the world.
　This city was joined as a creative city (craft) of U.N. UNESCO,
　and Kanazawa has also received the same authorization in 2009.

　I held the Japan-South Korea tea ceremony,
　had lectures about "the craft of Japan", "the feng shui of China, Korea, and Japan",
　I hope I could contribute small ability to mediation of culture for these 2 countries.

　韓国で出品している第7回京畿道国際陶芸ビエンナーレの関連事業で、茶会を韓国陶芸協会とともに主宰した。
　裏千家ソウル支部の協力を得て、韓国の政財界、宗教や茶道に関わる代表、人間国宝の工芸家などを招き、
　互いの文化を確認し合う場となった。
　遠くて近い国から近くて近い国になれるよう願いたいものだ。

　Cooperation of the Korea Ceramic Foundation and Urasenke Seoul Brunch was obtained.

　South Korean political and business circles, religion, and a living national treasure, etc were invited.

　It was a chance to shear mutual culture for each others.

　17日朝、翌日の日韓茶会の準備のために訪れた。
　事前に村松香奈子所長から、ソウルの裏千家社中に簡単なトークをお願いはされてはいたが、皆が真剣に待っていてくれた。
　嬉しいハプニングだ。
　1時間ほど講演をさせて頂いたが、その後は茶会となった。
　粋なもてなしに、深く感謝！ありがとうございます。

　I visited on the morning of the 17th for preparation of the Japan-South Korea tea ceremony of the next day.
　Although I have heard from Director Muramatsu Kanako for talk to the Urasenke soul,
　everybody was waiting earnestly.
　It is a delightful happening.
　I gave a lecture for about 1 hour, it became a tea ceremony after that.
　A stylish reception! I deeply appreciated. Thank you.

　左官の仕事で壁を構成し、私の作品を貼付けていく。
　竣工式は18日なのだが、メッセージを残す。
　最後の仕上げを終えて、小松空港から韓国ソウルへ向かう。

　I finished for my ceramic mural at Ishikawa Toyota Komatsu.
　Fusion of contemporary art and traditional crafts.
　This is my approach.
　A wall is constituted from a plasterer's work and my work is created.
　The opening day is 18th of October, I left my message for reception.
　The last work was my signed and I am going to soul from Komatsu Airport.

　「茶の時空間」をテーマに実験的に行ったこのコンペは、一般公募からの入選、受賞者とともに、
　国内外の特別招待作家の作品が出品されている。
　金沢市工芸協会、金沢市が主催するるこの企画は、全くの手作りのものだ。
　会場となる金沢21世紀美術館、金沢市立中村記念館で、関係者とともに陳列を行った。
　この展覧会、「茶」をテーマに金沢の工芸を世界へ発信できるかもしれない。

　This competition experimentally performed on the theme of "Tea space-time" is accepted
　from a general artists and the work of the special invitation from Japan also outside the country is included.
　This project was planed by Kanazawa City and Kanazawa Crafts Councils with handmade.
　The all of works are displayed in the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary and
　Nakamura Memorial Museum with related artists fellow.

　この高校は、活躍する数々の先人を輩出してきた、石川県屈指の進学校だ。
　二人の息子も学んだおかげで、私もPTA会長を務めさせて頂いた。
　出席者の県会議長、銀行頭取など政財界に多くの出身者がいる。

　This high school is the leading entrance-into-a-school-of-higher-grade school in Ishikawa prefecture.
　It has a large number of much predecessors.
　Since two sons also learned, it serves also I was the PTA chairman.
　Many attendants graduated from this high school such as political and business circles,
　prefectural assembly chairperson and a bank president.

　金沢市観光協会が企画するこのイベントは、今年で5年目を迎える。
　サブタイトルは茶陶大樋焼、名匠の工房探訪と食談。半日を私がナビゲートするのだ。
　参加した21名は北海道から九州までと広範囲であり、4度目、３度目のリピーターの参加もある。
　大樋工房で茶碗制作を実演、大樋美術館で解説、茶室「芳土庵」で茶会。そして「松魚亭」で食談。
　かなり労力を要するが、参加した方々の喜んでくれた顔が忘れられない。
　金沢は「もてなしの街」なのだ。

　This event was planned by the Kanazawa tourist agency and started 5 years ago. I navigate half a day.
　21 persons were participated from wide range as Hokkaido to Kyushu,
　and also some of participations were 4 times or 3rd repeaters.
　At ohi Studio,I demonstrated for tea bowl making,
　At Ohi Museum,I made a explanations and I also had a dinner abnd talk at Syogyotei restaurant.
　Although a labor is required considerably,
　but I can not forget of the participated each people face, they looked so happy.
　Kanazawa is "a town of a hospitalities"

　北海道から沖縄までの行きたい美術館だけを訪れている25人のイスラエルからの客人をお迎えした。
　学識者とコレクターばかりのツアーだからか「手作りでなければならない理由？」「金沢での侘寂は何か？」
　次々に質問が飛び交った。
　私の答えは、その時にいた人だけの秘密にしておこう！

　始まったのがこのイベントだ。新しいクラフトの提案が必要だからだ。
　OPNENINGでは伝統的な”美”と”技”の美しく幻想的な映像空間が菱川勢一氏によって演出された。
　もう少し彼にリスペクトできる状況であれば、更に見応えがあったと思ったのはわたしだけだろうか？？？
　しかし、金沢は凄い町だ。

　This event started aiming at sending the life style from Kanazawa globally.
　It is reasons for the proposal of a new craft movement.
　In OPNENING, the beautiful visionary image space of traditional "beauty" and "work"
　was directed by Seiichi Hishikawa.

　子供の頃から何故か好きだった。

　新潟のまちとひとがつながることが課題で、彼は、賑やかな新潟の街を表象する、立体都市のようなものを考えた。
　このことは、24日18時より新潟総合テレビーNSTでも特集されるようだ。
　彼は現在、東京芸術大学建築学科大学院生。
　彼にとっては忘れられない初めての受賞だが、人生の道程は険しい。

　He is a graduate student of the Tokyo University of Fne Arts and his major is architecture.
　His route is steep and hard.

　偉大な日本画家 俵屋宗達を偲ぶために始まったこの茶会。発会して100年を迎えた。会長は十代大樋長左衞門。
　今日、記念茶会が催され全国からたくさんの人々が集まってくる。金沢市工芸協会も中村記念美術館に於いて茶席を担当する。

　石川の酒と地元の食を発信する「石川の日本酒と美食の祭典 石川の地酒・マルシェ」が１１月２日、
　金沢市のしいのき迎賓館で初めて開催される。そして、その発会式が行われた。
　マルシェ(応援団)に選ばれたのは、地元の女性テレビキャスター、若手経済人など友人達ばかりだが、
　私もその一人として応援させていただく。
　北陸新幹線金沢開業後の２０１５年１０月に、金沢市内で、「日本酒 で乾杯推進会議」全国大会が初めて開かれる。
　東京オリンピック誘致ののように、地元が団結すれば大成功となるはずだ。

　will be held for the first time in Kanazawa on November 2. And the preopening ceremony was held.

　北京から中国高速鉄道で2時間30分。鄭州に到着した。
　河南省の省都でもあり、殷の時代より3,500年の歴史をもち、中国八大古都に指定されている。
　郊外には、黒川紀章氏発案による新都心が栄え、新しい建築とともに書画骨董などが至る所に融合している。
　まるで現代アートのように見えてくるから不思議な気持ちにさせられる。
　皇帝のためのものだった陶磁、織物などを休館日にも関わらず、我々だけが説明を受けた。
　その求められた技術の高さは、計り知れない。
　そして訪れた陶芸村などの職人達は、数千年の変わらない手技を黙々と繰り返している。

　3時間のフライトで21時に到着。
　外は、まだ明るかった。
　広い中国大陸だが、全て北京の時間に合わせているからだ。
　シルクロードの要所であった敦煌は、歴史と共に工芸が根付いていて、様々な工芸を視察した。
　高いレベルの手業を持つ工芸職人がいる。

　I moveed to Dunhuang from Beijing on the evening of the 28th.
　It arrived by the flight for 3 hours at 21:00. It was still bright in outside.
　Although it is the large China continent, it is because all are united at the time of Beijing.
　The craft has rooted with history of Dunhuang which was a key point of the Silk Road inspected
　various crafts.
　there is a high level craftsman with the hand.

　中国京劇のスターである李玉剛 氏を訪問した。彼の所有する巨大なクラブの内装を手がけることになった。
　京劇の女形として爆発的な人気を得ている彼は、その女形の歌唱法をポップスにも融合させるなど、国民的アーティストなのだ。
　2010年には、ワールドツアーで来日公演し大成功を収めた。来年は日本での公演も決定している。

　Li Yugang is Starr of the China Peking Opera.
　I visited him.It will deal with the interior of his huge club.
　He os well known as a feminine style of a Peking Opera and he is a national artist,
　such as uniting the method of singing the feminine role also.
　2010 His performance was carried out on world tour,
　he visited Japan and a great success.
　The public performance in Japan is also determined next year.

　染織家であり重要無形文化財保持者•土屋順紀氏、陶芸家であり若手でありながら国内外で活躍する見附正康氏が訪れてくれた。
　ゆっくりとした時間を過ごした我々は、互いの仕事や工芸の未来を語り合った。
　彼らとの出会いを大切にしようと思う。
　そして、また再会して語り合いたい。

　Young ceramist Mr. Mitsuke Masayasu who is an active artistt in in akk of the world.
　And they visited Ohi Museum.
　That time went so slowly and we could talk about each one of our work and the future of craft together.
　I think that I will value encounter with them.
　Moreover, I would like to meet again and talk together.

　Cha'vez Nicolasa女史は、金沢21世紀美術館で行われている金沢世界工芸トリエンナーレにおいて、
　サンタフェからのフォークアートのキュレターを務めている。そして今日、彼女のギャラリートークが行われた。
　米国•ニューメキシコは米国人でも州であるとことを知らない人が多いそうだ。
　メキシコ文化で考えれば北端、地理では米国の南端。
　昨年、サンタフェを訪れた際には、彼女にもお世話にもなった。
　サンタフェは、複雑にインディアン文化が融合する魅力的な地域でもある。
　工芸に関心をもっている中田英寿氏が会場を訪れ、興味深く鑑賞されていた。
　この企画展の注目度が高くなることは、金沢の誇りともなるだろう。

　If it thinks in the Mexico culture, at the northernmost end and geography,
　it will be at the southernmost end of the U.S.
　She was so kind when I visited to Santa Fe last year.
　Santa Fe is also an attractive area which Indian culture unites intricately.
　Mr. Hidetoshi Nakata who is interested in the craft visited the museum also at that time,
　and he was appreciated interestingly.
　It will also become the pride of Kanazawa that the attention of this exhibition becomes higher.

　私は11月8日—10日の大樋焼ツアーを担当する。

　金沢は先人の努力の積み重ねによって、魅力ある都市になってきているのかもしれない。

　金沢東茶屋街を中心に行われる燈涼会が開幕する。
　有名寿司店である「みつ川」では、私が企画したイベントが行われた。
　秘策は、客入り後に私が冷抹茶の点前を行った。
　金沢ならではの食材、日本酒、加賀某茶など正に地産地消
　数々の器を持ち込み、光川主人が腕を振るった。
　参加者は、この企画のプロデュサーである秋元雄史氏、浦淳氏
　横浜からの大切な友人、梅村光男夫妻
　本当にいつも支えてくれて有難い限りだ。

　The TORYOE opened at the Kanazawa east Geisya District .
　The event which I planned was performed in "MITSUKAWA" which is a famous sushi restaurant.
　As for the secret plan, I performed the actual making of the cold tea ceremony.
　The foods,sake, Kanazawa certain tea are unique from Kanazawa with my vessels.
　And Mitsukawa master high performance.
　A participant were Mr. Akimoto Yuji who is producer of this event,
　the important friend Mr. & Mrs. Umemura, Ms.Isigami Keiko and Ishigami Ayako from Yokohama.
　I am always appreciated by their supports.

　昨日、第2回金沢・世界工芸トリエンナーレが開幕した。
　オーストラリアをキュレーションしたスティーブ•ポゼル氏、リサ•カヒル氏、
　台湾をキュレーションした李玉玲氏などが我家を訪問してくれた。
　彼らにとっては唯一の休日であり、明日は帰国される。心からおもてなしをさせて頂いた。

　The 2nd Kanazawa World Crafts Triennial opened yesterday.
　Mr. Steve Pozel and Ms. LISA Cahill who did curation of Australia, Ms.
　Yulin Lee who did curation of Taiwan, etc. visited my home today.
　Today is only holiday for them, and they will go back tomorrow.
　I welcomed for them from the bottom of my heart.

　今回のテーマは「工芸におけるリージョナルなもの」となっており、
　オーストラリア、アメリカ（サンタフェ）などの先住民による文化的手仕事、
　台湾は馴染み深い「織」「編」などの技術や竹を用いたアートと融合した工芸、日本は独自的な工芸的な広がりを展開している。
　開幕した今日、各国のキュレータによる講演、懇親会、夕食会が盛大に行われた。

　金沢市工芸協会が主催するこの展覧会は、現代アートから工芸を捉える世界の第一人者でもある秋元雄史 金沢21世紀美術館館長の
　プロデュースによるものだ。世界的な現代アートのリーダーが、
　金沢から工芸を発信してくれることに金沢市民は深い敬愛の念を抱き始めている。

　2015年春、北陸新幹線は東京から金沢まで開通する。
　金沢八家と称される金沢市内8カ所のハイグレードなホテルは、それぞれに連携しながら世界の金沢を目指している。

　西四辻公教金沢エクセルホテル東急前総支配人、斎藤克弥金沢エクセルホテル東急総支配人が我家を訪れてくれた。
　金沢は、幸運にも新たな局面を迎えている。皆が真剣に取り組み始めている。

　かなり注文が入っているそうだ。

　大樋美術館、大樋ギャラリー、茶室などの視察だったのだが、デザイナーでもある私は真剣に彼らと話しあうことができた。

　韓国•利川陶芸美術館での設営を終えた。
　出来る限り努力をしたとは思っている。
　同時に、世界中から選ばれた作家の作品のレイアウトを見た。
　皆がそれぞれに高いレベルでの表現をしている。
　何か、自信が無くなってしまった。
　やがて、世界中の学識者が集まり審査が行われる
　後は結果を待つのみなのだが、祈るのみ。
　明日、金沢へ帰る。

　I finished for reparation in the South Korean Icheonn ceramic museum.
　I think I tried hard as much as possible.
　Simultaneously, I saw the layout of other artists work selected from all over the world.
　Everybody is carrying out expression on a high level.
　Some of my confidence has been lost.
　Soon, critique people in the world gather and judges.
　I only wait for a result, I pray only.
　I will return to Kanazawa tomorrow.

　I attended an executive board meeting by the Tokyo Yurakucho international forum.
　The details were about Japan Arts & Crafts Competition held in April 2014,it was discussed.
　The judges were determined from curators and members, it is alike soon and a formal announcement.
　I go to a soul from Narita Airport after a closing this meeting.

　ガラスの詩人の異名もある彼は、ヴェネツィア・ムラーノ島に工房を構える唯一の日本人であり、イタリアで半生を過ごしている。
　昔、私がミラノサローネに出品した際に知り合って以来、11歳も違うのだが兄弟のように親しくなった。
　礼儀正しい彼には、千住博画伯、俳優•辰巳琢郎氏など私の仲間も多数応援している。

　そんな彼が金沢•大和で個展を開催している。
　彼のギャラリートークの対談者として手伝いをさせて頂いた。

　He is an only Japanese who establishes a studio in the Venice Murano island,
　and the another his nick name is poet glass artist.He is also passing half a lifetime in Italy.
　Since he became acquainted when I tried to a Milano Salone Internazionale 2007,
　although he is 11 years young different, we become intimate like a brother.
　Many of our friends, such as Mr. Hiroshi Senju painter and actor Takurou Tatsumi, are also aiding polite him.
　He is holding the exhibition in Kanazawa Daiwa.
　I was allowed to help as a talk person of his gallery talk.

　I went to surfing by my friend invitation.
　It could be exciting and I was not able to sleep.
　Last time surf was 30 years, I had some image for this time!

　堂々と、自然に隣のリンゴ畑へ歩いて行った。驚いたのは私の方だった。

　お盆という日本の習慣は大切だ。
　家の歴史に関わった人々、そして先祖に感謝を捧げる。
　それを子供の頃から続けてきた。
　遠い昔、祖父と常に一緒に行った金沢•月心寺。
　裏千家始祖である仙叟居士の墓と初代大樋長左衞門の墓がそこにある。
　手を合わせ、何度も聞いた大樋焼の歴史。
　もう存在する場所は違うのだが、記憶の中に生きている。
　９代大樋長左衞門であった祖父を思い出す。

　The custom of Japan of the Bon Festival is important.
　Gratitude is offered to people concerned with the history of a family, and an ancestor.
　It has been continued since my child's time.
　I always went to Kanazawa Geshinji-temple with my with grandfather.
　There are grave of Senso(Founder of Urasenke) and the first Ohi Chozaemon.
　We prayed with its hands joined and I was heard repeatedly about History of the Urasenke and Ohi ware.
　Our locations which already exists is different, however it is alive in memory.
　The grandfather who was the 9th generation of Ohi Chozaemon is remembered.

　「ルーブル美術館の魅力」特集に、ジャン＝リュック•マルチネズルーブル美術館館長など、
　12人のなかで私の記事も掲載された。
　「パリを訪れると必ず会いにいく女性—モナリザ」これが私のコメント。
　学生の時に見たモナリザは、悲しそうな年上の女性。
　訪れる都度に、いつも彼女への印象が違うのです。

　My interview was also published at "charm of Louvre Museum" special edition in 12 persons comments,

　家庭画報特選「きものサロン」秋冬号（8月20日発売予定）の取材が大樋美術館で行われた。
　彼女が着こなした新作の加賀友禅、とても美しく輝いていた。
　戸田菜穂さんは、句会も同じ仲間で共通の知人も多い。取材以外でも会話が弾み、楽しい時間だった。

　Kateigaho Special Kimono Magazine 2013/Autum & Winter (8/20 issu) had coverage at Ohi Mseum.
　she was dressed stylishly with new Kaga Yuzen Kimono and it was beautifully shining.
　We are the same haiku gathering friend and there are also many common acquaintances among Ms.Toda Naho.
　Also except coverage, conversation became lively and it was pleasant time.

　ハーバード大学のイベントを終え大急ぎで高田馬場にある東京茶道会館を訪れた。
　角山氏が還暦を迎えられた茶会を催されているからだ。
　夜のロウソクの光とともに、数々の室礼は幻想的だった。
　弁護士として活躍される中、時間を見つけながら時間をかけて制作した列席者への茶碗は心が入ったものだった。
　六志会のみなさま、お世話になりました。そして、角山先生。還暦おめでとうございます。

　The event of Harvard University was finished, and I quickly moved to Tokyo Chado hall in Takadanobaba in Tokyo.
　Because, Lawyer. Kakuyama was hosting for his the sixtieth birthday of Tanabata tea ceremony..

　He is a successful lawyer, but finding difficult time to make tea bowls for all the guest presents.

　このイベントは、ハーバード大学ライシャワー日本研究所が主催のもとに、
　横浜・大倉山記念館において島津久永様・島津貴子様夫妻をはじめとして、
　鈴木隆•横浜副市長、ブレイク•ジョンソン•駐日米国大使館副領事、西田義博•横浜日米協会会長などの列席で始まった。
　そして、私は総合プロデューサーを務めた。
　基調講演は、私が日中、日韓の文化の類似と相違を中心に話し、全てのプログラムが英語で行われるなか、
　その後、弟・奈良宗久が茶道のデモと茶道体験、
　長男・奈良祐希が東京芸術大学大学院建築科の仲間と共にアートワークに取り組みました。
　ハーバード大学、横浜市立大学、慶応義塾大学、東京工業大学との学生交流は深い絆となることでしょう。

　This event was held in Yokohama Ookurayama Memorial hall on the basis of sponsorship of the
　Harvard University Reischauer Institute of Japanese Studies with attendance of
　Mr.Shimazu Hisanaga and Mrs,Shimazu Takako including Yokohama deputy
　mayor Suzuki Takashi, Resident-in-Japan U.S. embassy vice-consul Brake Johnson,
　TheYokohama America-Japan Society Chairman Nishida Yoshihiro.
　And I was the comprehensive producer.

　While I spoke about the keynote lecture focusing on resemblance and a difference of Japan-China
　and Japan-South Korea culture. All the programs were performed in English.
　My younger brother Nara Sokyu, a demonstration and tea ceremony experience,
　and the eldest son Nara Yuki tackled artwork with the friend of the department of
　the University Tokyo Fine Arts Graduate School for architecture.
　The student exchange with Harvard University, Yokohama City University,
　Keio University, and Tokyo Institute of Technology will serve as deep bonds.

　茶道文化ラボが茶道裏千家・東京道場で開催され、私もラボディレクターとして参加させて頂いた。
　裏千家茶道資料館 館長 筒井紘一氏が茶道文化を総論され、大谷裕巳氏がラボマスターとして進行されながら、
　小山裕久氏、永井一史氏、黒川雅之氏、遠山正道氏、そして私がラボディレクターとして、パネルディスカッションが行われた。
　茶事を再検証することで、日本の新しいビジネスが生まれるのかもしれない。

　A tea culture lab is held in Tokyo Urasenke hall, and I was also allowed to participate as a lab director.
　Urasenke Library President Mr. Koichi Tsutsui was carried out in tea culture and
　Mr. Hiromi Otani ran as a lab master,
　a panel discussion was performed for Mr. Hirohisa Koyama, Mr. Kazufumi Nagai,
　Mr. Masayuki Kurokawa, Mr.Masamichi Toyama, and me as a lab director.
　New business of Japan may be start by re-verifying a full tea presentation with a tea culture.

　この展覧会は、半世紀を超えて開催されてきた。
　春に行われた本展の基本作品と石川県内の入選者で開催されている。
　また、県内の新々作家の登竜門とした第28回石川の現代工芸展も同時開催されている。
　文化勲章受章者、文化功労者、日本芸術院会員、芸術大学学長など国内外で活躍する会員から、学生までの作品が陳列されている。
　受賞者、新入選者、もちろん年齢など関係ない。常に新しい工芸を目指している人の作品は輝いている。

　This exhibition has been held exceeding five decades.
　It is held by the basic work of this exhibition in spring, and the winner in Ishikawa Pref.
　Moreover, simultaneous holding also exhibition of 28th Ishikawa Arts & crafts,
　it is for the gateway to new artists within the prefecture.
　The work from the member who plays an active part in and outside the country,
　such as a recipient of the Order of Culture, a person of cultural merits,
　a member of the Japan Academy of Art, and an art college president, also to a student is displayed.

　私も客員教授を務めるこの学校は、世界でも評価が高い。
　今回は陶芸科の学生が私を訪ねてくれた。
　引率した張 清淵教授、徐永旭教授は世界的な芸術家であり、多くの優秀な学生を輩出している。
　12人の学生達と我が家でゆっくりした時間を共に過ごした。

　I am also act as a visiting professor and has high evaluation in the world.
　The student of the department of ceramic art visited on me this time.
　Professor Chang Chin Yuen and Professor Hsu Yunghsu are global artists,
　and they have sent many excellent students.
　I spent time slowly with 12 students and them at my home.

　All Selectional artists from 3 countries gathered for that reception.
　It is some problem for each others, however the culture continues forever.

　「土•火•風の個展」が昨日から始まった。
　昨日は初日、朝10時から夜8時まで来客が絶えなかった。
　結局、朝食、昼食を取る事が出来ずに、夜は友人が待つ繁華街に消えた。
　今日も賑わっている。
　初めて発表した「地球に存在しない石」そして茶碗、祭器。
　私の作品が私から去って行く。悲しさと嬉しさが同居するとも個展なのだ。

　The Earth, Wind and Fire. This is title for my exhibition at Nagoya Takashimaya.
　Yesterday was the first day and thankfully so many guests came.
　I could not have a chance for breakfast and lunch.
　And then I run to down town in Nagoya because my friends waited.
　Today many people are coming also.
　「The stone which does not exist in the earth」
　I am first exhibiting on this time and tea bowls,cdremonial vessels,,,,
　It is sad and glad they are leaving from me. However this is solo exhibition.

　今から１2年前、谷本正憲石川県知事、
　食空間プランナー木村ふみ氏とともに石川県内の伝統工芸産業に従事する人々がEUを視察した。
　それからの縁で皆が年に一度集まっている。最高の意見交換の場でもある。

　It was 12 years ago, some of traditional crafts production was chosen to visit to
　EU Mission with Governor Tanimoto Masanori and Planer Ms.Kimura Fumi.
　Since then all attending member gathers and exchanges in every year.

　裏千家坐忘斎御家元の奉仕による献茶式が、白山比雌神社にて厳かに執り行われた。
　また、同時に茶会も催され、薄茶席は十代大樋長左衞門が担当した。
　裏千家石川支部役員の方々、そして我々家族でおもてなしをさせて頂いた。
　御家元を迎え、そして天候にも恵まれ、素晴らしい時がゆっくりと流れた。

　Also 10th Ohi Chozaemon was asked to be host for tea ceremony in this occasion.

　プレストンとクリスは、私が学んだリチャード•ハーシュ教授の卒業生。
　彼らは私の後輩でもあり、ロチェスター工科大学大学院で教えたこともある。
　プレストンは、ロチェスター工科大学大学院を修了後、金沢で私のアシスタントを長く務めた。
　クリスは、ロチェスター工科大学大学院を修了後、同時期に福井•越前村で陶芸を学んだ。
　今、彼らはそれぞれの大学で美術を担当する教授となっている。
　そして毎年、学生を金沢と越前に連れてくる。今回で６回目となる。
　その学生達は孫弟子のような存在なのかもしれない。
　嬉しくも、時が流れていくことを痛感する。

　Preston Saunders and Chris Kelly learned by my respect Professor Richard Hirsch whom I studied in Boston.
　They are my younger generations from him and I have taught them at the Rochester Institute of
　Technology graduate school.
　Preston was my assistant in Kanazawa for a long time after finishing Rochester Institute of
　Technology graduate school.
　Chris Kelly studied ceramic art at Fukui Echizen at the same time after finishing the Rochester
　Institute of Technology graduate school.
　Now, they are the professors for fine arts at each university.
　And they are guiding their student to Kanazawa and Echizen every year.
　It becomes the 6th time for today.
　The students may be existence like pupil's pupil.
　I am glad but I keenly realizes that the time passes.

　A fine morning.
　I drove own car and did not have a chance for a long time.
　It is a round trip of Noto-Peninsula Suzu.
　It is a music of engine sound to the body.
　It is the voice of joy from a car surely.
　But the reason is a Buddhist service, I wear mourning dress figure.
　I prayed and joined with my hand to the beautiful sea.

　選ばれた金沢の語り部は、それぞれに心で接してくれた。
　金沢のプレミアムな夜になったのであれば幸いだ。

　Then, a historical building is navigated by Mr.Ura Jun.

　Everybody is greeted by the whistle by geisha, a dance, etc.
　I took all charge of all attractions, food and vessels.
　The selected storyteller of Kanazawa talked with each guests.
　I am pleased if a premium Kanazawa night came true.

　北陸地方最大級のフィットネスクラブAIMが創業25周年を迎えた。
　ホテル日航金沢で記念コンベンションが催された。
　起業された吉田正弘会長が積み重ねてこられた努力は、誰も成し得る事ができないサクセスストーリでもある。
　わずか3 人で始まった会社が今では150人を超える。
　その記念すべき節目に講演をさせて頂いた。光栄なことだ。
　講演後の懇親会では吉田正弘会長と同席させて頂き、伺った数々のお話を私は一生忘れる事はないだろう。

　One of the great fitness club AIM in Hokuriku District celebrated the 25th anniversary of foundation.
　The commemoration convention was held in hotel Nikko Kanazawa.
　The Chairman Mr.Yoshida Masahiro was accumulated and finally made success stories that nobody can accomplish.
　Now, the company exceeds 150 persons after started with only 3 people.
　I was allowed to give a lecture to the memorable turning point.
　It is honorable.
　At the social gathering after a lecture, I was allowed to sit with Chairman Yoshida Masahiro.
　I do not forget throughout life from his talks.

　新幹線が開通するまでの期間が、本当のプレミアム、それが私の意見。

　午後は雑誌、美プレニアム、GQ、2社からの取材を受けて、金沢をPRした。

　A meeting is held in the Kanazawa city hall in the morning.
　the Kanazawa premium Tour is called -- real trip plan has to be premium with a true period until
　the Shinkansen is opened, and it is my opinions.

　東京都美術館が企画したこの展覧会が今日から始まり、その内覧会、レセプションに参加した。
　全国の主要な美術公募団体から151人の作家が選定された。
　ジャンルは絵画、彫刻、工芸など幅が広く、東京都美術館学芸員によって会場が構成されている。
　工芸分野は12人が選定されたのだが、有難いことに私もその一人。

　This exhibition started today organized by Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum and participated in that
　private view and a reception.
　151 artists were selected from main fine-arts general invitation organizations all over the country.
　Width of a genre, such as pictures, sculpture, and a craft, is wide,
　and the hall is constituted by the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum curator.
　As for the craft field,12 persons were selected and I am also selected.

　Ms. Michii Takako is an important friend and she is living in Buffalo NY.
　The city of Buffalo is connected by sister city with Kanazawa for a long time.

　場所は金沢、兼六園の側、雨も上がった時だ。
　車を運転していたのだが、広い道路を自転車で逆走する高校生がいる。
　右に行けば右に、左に行けば左に寄る。私は車を止めた。
　彼は(死にたい！死にたい！)その言葉を連呼する。何も言えなかった。
　大丈夫なのだろうか？

　1996年から始まったこの展覧会は、日米から100点を超える作品がニューヨーク日本クラブで展示されている。
　審査員は、David McFadden氏（チーフキュレーター、アート＆ デザイン美術館）、
　土居信一氏（元コンサベーター、メトロポリタン美術館）、Cora Rosevear氏（副キュレーター、MOMA）、
　村瀬実恵子氏（元メトロポリタン美術館 東洋部特別顧問）そして私が審査委員長を務め7点の優秀作品が選ばれ、
　夜は盛大なレセプションが催された。

　The Nippon Gallery is hosted an exhibition of The 14th Annual US & Japan Ceramic Competition.
　The exhibition will include over 100 works selected by preeminent judges of the competition.
　The judges are including Mr. David McFadden, Chief Curator, Museum of Arts & Design;
　Mr. Shinichi Doi, former conservator of The Metropolitan Museum of Art; Ms. Cora Rosevear,
　Associate Curator of Museum of Modern Art; Professor Miyeko Murase,
　former Special Consultant for Japanese Art at The Metropolitan Museum of Art;
　and I was a chief judge. It was also held awarding reception at NYC Nippon Club.

　知人宅に滞在している。
　35階からの夜景は摩天楼だ。
　メールが届いた。次男の嬉しそうな姿の写真が添付されていた。
　残念ながら入学式に行ってやれなかった。でも、彼も期待していはいなかったとは思うが、、、、、
　次男も大学生。自分が歳を重ねたことが不思議にもなる。

　I am in New York at 4:00 of a morning.
　I am staying at friend apartment. The night view from the 35th floor is just a skyscraper.
　I received E-mail. It was attached photograph which the second son seemed so happy.

　I was not able to attend his entrance ceremony. Although he is also not expected that I would attend.
　The second son is already a college student, It becomes wonderful but I am getting up age.

　「サンフランシスコ」ロマンチックな響きだ。私にも想いで深い町。
　1981年 カリフォルニア大学バークレー校で世界が注目する陶芸家ピーター•ヴォーカスに会う事ができた。
　アメリカで学ぶ勇気を得た。
　1989年 サフランシスコ滞在中に大地震に遭遇。紙一重のところで助かった。その後も何度もこの町を訪れている。
　8日、9日と滞在したが、いくつかのギャラリーを訪れることもできた。
　旧友とも会った。20数年前のことが今日のようでもあった。
　また、この町に来ようと思う。

　Also after that, I have visited to this town repeatedly.
　8th and 9th of days, I could talk with some galleries.
　although I also met the old friend. It seemed that our twenty years ago was today.
　Moreover, I think that I will come to this town.

　金沢も東京も快晴。
　サンフランシスコ、ニューヨークでの滞在だが、二泊ずつの短い旅だ。
　飛行機予約が遅れたことで、成田空港から最悪の乗り継ぎで出発しなければならない。
　学生時代を思い出す。良い旅になるかな？

　Kanazawa and Tokyo are fine weather.
　I will stay in San Francisco and New York, it is the short trip of every two nights.
　My airplane reservation having been overdue,
　it is the worst connection from Narita Airport. My school days are remembered.
　I am pleased if my good trip can be true.

　今日は南から全国的に突風が吹き荒れる予報だった。
　朝、京都から東京に向かう。
　東京都美術館で行われる日本現代工芸美術展の受賞選考委員会に理事である私も出席した。
　15時30分、ほとんどの受賞者が決定した。九州、四国などからの理事もいて即刻に解散。
　そして上野から上越新幹線に飛び乗った。
　越後湯沢で乗り換えたが、糸魚川で停車中で既に2時間30分が過ぎている。
　何故か糸魚川駅長がカロリーメイトと水を配っている。長期戦になりそうだ。

　It was a forecast on strong wind nationally from south Japan today.
　I went to Tokyo from Kyoto in the morning.
　It was judgement for the Japan Contemporary Crafts Competition in Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum.
　Almost all awarding people were selected at 15:30. there is also a director from Kyushu, Shikoku, etc.
　and alike at once -- a dismissal. And it jumped in Joetsu Shinkansen from Ueno.
　Although changed in Echigoyuzawa,
　it was stopping at Itoigawa Station over 2 hours 30 minutes has already passed.
　Itoigawa Stationmaster is distributing water with the calorie mate. It will be likely long time.

　Mr. Shigeru Saito is friend and has accomplished a great success with the enterprise.
　The cottage which he built is located in Nagaokakyo.
　What kind of house? it is exceeds imagination, it cannot express. Eight cherry trees can overlook from all the rooms.

　今から書くことは、長男は激怒するかもしれない。父親だからあえて書く。
　彼は、大学受験で浪人生活を過ごして合格。そして、卒業を目の前にして留年。
　だから、一浪、一留。「イチロー、一流」シャレではないが、彼の今日までだ。

　彼は子供の頃から野球が好きだった。誰よりも真面目に取り組んだが、補欠。
　しかし、その時の友情は今も続いている。
　彼の高校受験。金沢大学付属高校を受けたが友達の中で、自分だけ失敗。
　しかし、その時の友情は今も続いている。
　それでも石川県立泉丘高校に入学できた。
　3年になった時、家業を継ぐ決断を私に告げた。
　野球部でやっとレギュラーになれた彼だったが、経験のないデッサンなどを学ぶため退部届を出そうとした。
　先生も仲間も理解し励ましてくれた。その時の友情は今も続いている。

　部屋で泣き崩れる長男を何度も見てきた。
　立ち直り頑張る姿があっても、私は終始厳しかった。
　これでも親かと責められたこともある。
　自分に甘い奴が、子に厳しい。当然の在り方だと自答している。
　今日、彼は東京芸術大学建築科大学院に進学した。私は行ってやれなかった。

　Writing from now on, the eldest son may be enraged.
　I am his father, so I hope he does not mine.
　His university entrance examination,
　he could not make it for first one.he spent for one year in tokyo for study and could
　pass of year later.Also he has stay for one more year for graduation.

　He loves baseball and His child's time,
　he was playing seriously than any other kids, but he was not select for regular,
　however the friendship at that time still continues.

　His high school entrance for Kanazawa University High school.
　All his friends could pass except him. However, the friendship at that time still continues.

　He could enter to the Ishikawa prefectural high school Izumigaoka.
　He told me that he will continue for my family line.
　But he was able to be regular player for baseball team.
　His decision was just study for art direction and not play baseball.
　But all team understood and try to support him. the friendship at that time still continues.

　I know when he was crying in his room. How many times?
　I never give him weak opinion. I always face to him tough.
　I am asking by myself, is that right way to be father?
　He is going to graduate school of Tokyo University of Arts.

　昨日、日本現代工芸美術家協会理事会、橋本聖子参議院議員の出版記念会で東京にいた。
　飛行機も大幅に遅れ、街中が強風で桜の花は吹き飛んでしまった。
　今日、早朝の飛行機で金沢に戻り、外は快晴、現代美術展工芸分野でギャラリートークを行った。
　古来に中国、朝鮮半島から渡ってきた茶碗。我々は尊敬しながら独自のものとしていった。
　今の我々の工芸を中国や朝鮮半島の人が見た場合、良く見える事柄がこれからのキーワードとなるのかもしれない。
　重鎮、期待される若手作家などの作品を解説しながら、そのような話をさせていただいた。

　Yesterday I was in Tokyo.
　An airplane was very delay and the flower of a cherry tree had blown away by the strong wind.
　Today I returned to Kanazawa by airplane on this early morning,
　and had gallery talk for the 69th Contemporary Art Exhibition Crafts from 10:30.
　The tea bowls from China and the Korean Peninsula came ancient times.
　We were taken as the original thing with respecting.
　When the person of China or the Korean Peninsula looks at our present craft,
　the matter which looks good may serve as a future keyword.
　I had this kind of talk with explaining leader and a young artist works.

　世界で最も注目される建築家の一人だ。
　石川県で初めて手がけた仕事がこの保育園だ。
　旧知の北元喜洋 理事長に、食空間アドバイザーである木村ふみ氏と共に
　このプロジェクトの橋渡しが出来たことは光栄なことだった。

　He is one of the most famous architect in the world.
　This is the first his work in the Ishikawa prefecture.
　The board of directors Yoshihiro Kitamoto,
　he is my old acquaintance.It was an honorable thing which I could connect for this project to
　Mr. Kuma Kengo with cuisine environment adviser Kimura Fumi.

　家族旅行。何年ぶりだろうか？
　私の子供3人。長男24歳、長女22歳、次男19歳。
　皆が東京にいて学生。そして、卒業、受験と節目だった。
　春休み、旅をしよう！私は、彼らと約束をした。
　しかし、行けるか、行けないか？それは、微妙だった。
　行けることが判明した。ところが旅行バブル。
　約束のハワイ、ロサンゼルス、タイ、バリ、、、、、
　飛行機もホテルも予約で満杯だった。
　結局、3泊で台湾へ！それも直近に決定。
　久方ぶりに子供達と一緒。でも明日、帰国！
　いつまで一緒に旅ができるのだろうか？

　Family travel. Three children of mine.
　24 years old of eldest sons, 22 years old of eldest daughters, 19 years old of second sons.
　Everybody is in Tokyo and they are students.
　They also had a turning point for graduation and entering examination.
　I made a promise with them to take spring vacation trip! However,
　it was not sure it was possible or not.
　It became clear that we could go. However, a travel bubble. Promised Hawaii,
　Los Angeles, Thailand, Bali, the airplane, and the hotel were full of reservation.
　After all, it is decided that going to Taiwan by three nights.
　But I am so happy to be together.I am asking by myself,
　how long is it possible to go trip with my children?

　2名の日本芸術院会員、5名の人間国宝が共に審査員となっている選考会は、通常はあり得ない。
　The judge meeting was included by two persons' member of the Japan Academy of Art,
　and five persons' living national treasure.
　It is usually impossible to have neither.


　石川県内における最大の美術展。
　戦争が終わったばかりなのに、直ちに作家が立ち上がり始まった。
　日本画、洋画、彫刻、工芸、書、写真、およそ2000展の出品がある。
　工芸は現代から伝統まで会派を超えて審査が行われる。
　他の地域では例がない。
　私も審査員を務めるが、最先端の工芸を見抜くのが私の役目かもしれない。

　The greatest history of this exhibition was that artists started to
　stand up immediately after the 2nd war,

　There is exhibition of a Japanese painting,
　oil painting, sculpture, craft, Calligraphy, photograph, and about 2000 works trying.

　As for the craft, work was from the contemporary to tradition.
　It is unparalleled in other areas. Although I am a judge, my duty perceives the latest craft.

　東京芸術大学で建築を学んでいる長男が卒業した。
　可哀想だが、家族全てが茶会で名古屋にいるので誰も見届けてやれない。
　今春、大学院に進学する。友人を大切にしながら、多くを学んでほしい。
　彼と同じ歳の頃、私はボストンにいた。時の流れに驚いている。

　The eldest son who is studying Architecture in Tokyo University of Arts and graduated today.
　He is pitiful, since all families are in Nagoya in a tea ceremony, nobody can attend.
　He goes to a graduate school this spring. I wish he learns a lot, with valuing a friend.
　I was in Boston at the same time of age as him. I am surprised at the flow of a time.

　毎年、知足会という流派に捉われない大きな茶会が名古屋で催されてきた。
　今日、大樋長左衞門が席主となる。
　濃茶席は父が担当、弟が点前。
　薄茶席は私が担当、母が点前。
　日本中からの数寄者、茶人が参席している。
　元気でいてくれる両親。それを弟、私で支えることが出来る。神仏に感謝。

　Every year, Chisokukai Tea Ceremony has been held in Nagoya.

　Today,Ohi Chozaemon is hosting.

　For me, host and a mother is making of the tea.

　Tea people is gathering from all of Japan.

　彼らの国家医師試験結果をコンサート途中に友人が発表。
　みんなが合格した。
　医師となり、嬉しそうに歌う彼らの将来が楽しみだ。

　日中友好の架け橋になれたら幸いだ。

　昼、末っ子である篤人が合格発表を見に行った。
　兄の祐希が付き添った。
　私は、東京からの彼の電話を待つ。
　もし落ちたら？息子はどうなる？
　電話を待つ私は、親としても緊張の瞬間だ。
　携帯が鳴った。
　泣きながら震えた彼の声
　「合格しましたぁぁぁ。ありがとうぇんうぇんー」
　一年間の浪人生活、彼は良く耐えたと思う。
　受験勉強の知らない私が言うのは可笑しいが
　社会が子供に与えている重圧は何なのか？
　考えさせられた時でもあった。

　My last son Atsuhito went to Tokyo with his brothe Yuki and check his test result.
　I waited his call in Kanazawa.
　If it falled ? I was worried about him.
　it is a moment of strain for father.
　And then my mobile was sounded.
　His voice was trembled with cried.
　However he said "it passed. Thank you father"
　I think he has discipline for one year after he failed last year test.
　But I ask by myself what is the reason which society has given tough experience to the present child?
　It was also my time of thought.

　そして夜、金沢のホテルで裏千家青年部で活躍する渡辺大輔君の披露宴。
　彼とは共に茶道の活動を行ってきた。
　スピーチさせて頂いたが、彼は有望なる茶人候補でもある。
　奥様も茶道を嗜み、青年部活動を行っている。
　まさしく、茶が取り持った縁なのだ。
　お幸せに！

　And night was the wedding reception in Kanazawa for Mr. Watanabe Daisuke
　who is an active member of Urasenke youth.
　The tea activities has been worked with him together.
　I had a speech, he is also a promising master-of-the-tea-ceremony candidate.
　His wife is also tea parson and member of Urasenke youth.
　Surely, it is the edge which tea entertained.

　今日14時、金沢市立中村記念美術館で追悼茶会があった。
　裏千家金沢青年部が1993年に発足した。私が初代部長だった。
　そして以後の部長は、竹村均氏（北陸放送常務）戸出大輔氏（金沢市役所勤務）加納聡子氏（裏千家青年部北陸信越ブロック長）
　そして亡くなった大村修一氏（漆作家）現在の木本太氏と連なっている。
　この20年間は、皆でバトンタッチしながら全国に誇れる活動を行ってきた。
　しかし、残念なことは大村修一君を失ってしまったことだ。
　彼の作品を使いながらの茶会は、参加者の心がひとつになった良い時間でもあった。
　大村修一君。一年経つけど、安らかに眠ってください。

　There was a mourning tea ceremony in Nakamura Memorial Museum, Kanazawa today.
　The Urasenke Kanazawa youth Group was inaugurated in 1993.
　I was the first division president.
　And the future president are connected with Takemura Hitoshi (HOKURIKU BROADCASTING managing director)
　Toide Daisuke (the Kanazawa city office service) Kano Satoko (Urasenke youth Hokuriku Shin-etsu block president)
　and Shuichi Omura who passed away. (Japanese lacquer artist) and present president Kimoto Futoshi.
　For these 20 years, we can proud of our activity to all over the country
　has been performed, handing over the baton all together.
　However, a regrettable thing is having lost Mr. Omura Shuichi.
　The tea ceremony while using his work was also the good time when the participant's heart was set to one together.

　Although one year passes, please sleep peacefully.

　工房で、窯炊きをした。
　しかし、合間の制作で石と石との間に指を挟んでしまった。
　指は腫れ上がり、色も変わり内出血した。
　病院に行ったのだが、指先は骨折していた。
　指先が猛烈にいたい。

　不思議なことに、焼成した作品は今までにない色と輝きがある。
　神のいたずらなのか、指の怪我と交換条件だったのかもしれない。

　It was firing kiln in studio today. However,
　my finger has been pinched between stones by making work in the intervals.
　The finger swelled up, also changed the color and bled internally.

　I went to the hospital and my fingertip was broken although .
　But there are the color and brightness which do not have until
　now the work calcinated to the wonderful thing.

　Possibly they were an injury of the mischievous thing of God.

　Themes are "Kaga Style Cooking and Vessel.
　Even if there is no prior arrangement, since it is an old acquaintance's relation with him, it is reliable.

　「私のお気に入り菓子」そのコーナーで私のエッセイが以下のように紹介されました。

　雛祭の3月3日は、遠くに往ってしまった妹の誕生日でもあります。
　偶然、和菓子を深く考える機会を頂き、和菓子職人行松君に相談しました。
　友人でもあり弟のような存在でもある彼は、たくさんの試作を作ってくれました。
　嬉しい限りです。
　春の花を天に差し出すような菓子「花籠」が、現代に生きる職人・行松君のお蔭で生まれました。
　それは本来の花籠の意味でもあるかもしれません。私の器と共に捧げたいと憶います。

　"my favorite sweet" -- my essay was introduced as follows.
　March 3 of the Girl's Festival is also my younger sister's birthday kept in the distance from us now.

　グエン・ファン・チャンはベトナムが誇る近代絹絵のパイオニアとして知られる画家だ。
　2011年、その彼の作品を日本人が修復するドキュメンタリーが放映され、
　金沢21世紀美術館でもその展覧会が開催された。
　秋元雄史 金沢21世紀美術館館長、絵画修復家 岩井希久子氏、そして私がパネラーで話しあった。
　先人が残した大切な仕事を子孫に伝えることが、今に生きる我々の役目なのだ。

　Nguyen Phan Chanh is a silk painter known as a pioneer in Vietnam.
　In 2011, the documentary on which Japanese people restore the his work was broadcast,
　and the exhibition was held in the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa.
　It is to be told how it leaves such a cultural heritage this time.
　The 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa Mr. AkimotoYuji,
　Pictures conservator Ms. Iwai Kikuko and I discussed by the panelist.

　ホテル日航金沢のファウンテンがリニューアルオープンした記念に私が茶会を企画した。
　デザインや現代アートを重視した茶会を催すことで、真の茶道を伝えていきたいと思っている。
　故 伊住政和氏、田中一光氏によって始まった茶美会を感謝込めて大切に継承していきたい。
　茶会、中華料理での点心料理を私がすべて企画し、点前を含めてすべての動きはホテルスタッフで行った。
　次のデザイン茶会もご期待ください。

　I planned the design tea ceremony to the commemoration at the fountain of hotel Japan
　Airlines Kanazawa carried out renewal opening.
　I would like to tell the true the way of tea by holding the tea ceremony which thought the design
　and the contemporary art as important.

　今日、皆が作った作品を窯で焼成した。
　出来上がりに満足した学生達は喜びの表情だった。
　それぞれが帰国しても、作品を見ると金沢を思い出すことだろう。

　It means continuing this class for 15 years.
　Everybody made works and fire by kiln today.
　The students were satisfied with good result.
　Even if each student goes back, They will be remembered when they seen by their work.

　9:30 徳川家康が住んだ浜松出世城を周回する駅伝が行われた。
　市民から参加を募り、16チームが構成された。
　各チーム４人にエンジンメンバーが１人加わりバトンを渡す。
　ユニークなのは、途中に鰻を手に取って移動させることも含まれていて、走るだけではトップにはなれない。
　親子参加が多く、絆が深まったイベントでもあった。
　企画した有森裕子さん！お疲れ様でした。

　9:30 The ekiden which goes around the Hamamatsu castle in which Tokugawa Ieyasu used live.
　Participation was attended from citizens and 16 teams was constituted.
　One engine member joins with other 4 runers for each fteam, and it passes a baton.

　浜松の食材とワインの美味しい組み合わせは最高だった。

　Lecturers are Mr. Kojitani Hiroshi, Actress. Kawashima Naomi, Mr. Hachiya Sohitsu,
　Niigata Governor Izumida Hirohiko, and me.
　A delicious combination of the foodstuff of Hamamatsu and wine was the best selection.

　作曲家三枝成彰氏が代表を務めるこの会議は、政財界人、文化人など200人ほどで構成されている。
　今日は浜松アクトシティでの開幕コンサート、会員パーティなどが開かれた。

　明日は、闘茶、聞香、夜塾、明後日は駅伝で走者にもなる。

　This meeting where composer Shigeaki Saegusa serves as a representative consists of about 200 persons,
　such as political-and-business-circles people and a man of culture.
　The opening concert in the Hamamatsu act city, the member party, etc.

　金沢で行われている食談「フードピア金沢」
　20数年前に遡る歴史があるが、私は生証人のようなものだ。
　最初の１時間は「世界金沢を俯瞰して」というテーマで講演を行った。
　そして、皆が参加できるよう晩餐会形式で行った。
　全国からの参加者50名。楽しんでもらえたと思う。
　松魚亭女将、橋本さん！お疲れ様でした。

　The Food Pier Kanazawa has 25 years history I am just like a witness for this history.
　The first 1 hour I had a lecture by the theme of "From World looking down for Kanazawa."
　And it was dinner party table form so that everybody could participate.
　50 participants from the whole country.

　ずっと名前を変えない、不動の日本ブランドなのだ。
　今回のリボーンクラウン、新聞にモデルとして登場しながら紹介することになった。
　久々の車の仕事だ。

　For a long time, the crown has been in the positioning as a high-grade vehicle of Toyota.
　It is an immovable Japanese brand which does not change a name all the time.
　I will introduce for the newest reborn crown in a newspaper as a model.
　I used to be model of a car. That chance comes again after a long time.

　I was on NHK BS1 program hot @ Asia.
　11:00 I displayed my work made in Asian countries in a studio, and it was a rehearsal of 2 times.
　17:00 live started.
　I was able to speak about 20 minutes given by the exquisite.

　今から帰国。
　わずかの滞在なのに苦しかった。
　しかし、宜興での制作時間だけは、そのことを忘れた。
　制作を終えた瞬間に風邪を思い出したのだった。

　I am going back.
　It was hard time for a short styling.
　But I could forget about my cold when I am making.
　And then I realized I am catching cold when my work was done.

　羽田から北京に向かう機内の出来事。私は窓側、隣は同年ぐらいの人だった。
　その人、咳、クシャミ、鼻水が止まらない。
　機内で3時間以上も隣にいたら?移りますよね！
　昨日から南京に来ているが、発熱、悪寒がする。納得がいかない！

　The story was in the plane of going to Beijing from Tokyo Haneda.
　I was a window side and the next seat was a person like the same age.
　The person was a cough, a sneeze, and a nose do not stop running.
　If it is next by the inside of a plane for 3 hours.
　Although I went to Nanjing from yesterday, Now I am caching and have fever. Just like that person.
　It is not funny!

　昨晩、有り難くも裏千家鵬雲斎大宗匠と金沢で会食した。
　その後、最終便で東京へ移動。羽田空港にあるホテルで宿泊。
　早朝の便で北京へ出発。今回は短い滞在。
　南京なども訪問することになっている。

　Thankfully, I had dinner together with Urasenke Great Grand Tea Master Hounsai at Kanazawa last evening.
　Then, I moved to Tokyo with the last flight.
　I stayed in the hotel at Tokyo Haneda Airport.
　I leave for Beijing on the early morning flight.
　It will be short stay this time.
　I also will visit to Nanjing, etc.

　4月で90歳になられる大宗匠。
　それを記念して、金沢の我家で制作された。
　年齢を感じさせない若々しいお姿は、今も健在。
　息子のように接して下さる大宗匠を心から尊敬している。

　He will be 90 years old in April.
　And he made for his commemoration works at my home Kanazawa.
　He is still keeping young motivation today.
　He always gave me a god feeling just like a his son.
　I respect him from the bottom of my heart.

　今年も新たな気持ちで、全国から大勢の弟の社中が集まった。
　茶会には参加できなかったが、私も大雪の中、東京を往復。
　間に合った！

　Every year we share the same feeling,
　my younger brothers' tea students gathered from the all of Japan.
　I was not able to participate in a tea ceremony,
　I also went and came back from Tokyo in heavy snow.
　I could make it!

　It was deep snowing in Kanazawa today.
　I have to go to Tokyo today.
　And the earliest flight was delayed at Komatsu Airport.
　However I thank for possible to meet beautiful smiling Mt.Fuji.
　I hope I can return to Kanazawa until evening.

　裏千家始祖である仙叟を偲び始まった茶会。
　大樋焼初代長左衞門も共に眠る金沢・月心寺にての茶会は85年の間続いている。
　今日は我家が担当。両親が元気に茶席にいるので有り難い。
　天気も珍しい晴れ間の一日だった。

　The tea ceremony which started remembering Senso
　which is the Urasenke founder for 85 years at Kanazawa Gessinji Temple.

　My father 10thOhi Chozaemon charge today.
　Since parents are in a tea ceremony vigorously, it is glad.
　The weather was a new interval of clear day of winter.

　This exhibition is kind of Craft Fair at Shizuoka Nippondaira Hotel.
　The most of artists gathered and communicated for each others.

　新幹線で静岡へ移動中。

　Tokyo is fine weather. I am moving to Shizuoka with the Shinkansen.

　東京にいる娘と久しぶりぶりに話した。
　その後、息子、娘と食事に出かけたが、娘は友達と会いに行ってしまった。
　息子とアパートに戻ったら鍵を閉めたのは娘で我々の鍵は部屋の中。
　コンビニで娘を待つこと1時間。
　悲しい！

　I talked with my daughter, then get
　out with my son and her for dinner.
　And my daughter left to see her friend.
　I just came back and I left my key inside.
　I am waiting my daughter back near convention store for 1 hour.

　東京での裏千家宗家の初釜。11日は塩月弥栄子先生。12日は桜井宗幸先生。
　全ての茶席で正客を務めた。使われた由緒ある道具。
　60年前になるだろうか鵬雲斎大宗匠の若宗匠時代に書かれた「宝」そして父であった14代淡々　斎家元が船の絵を添えている。
　宝船となり、そして技巧ある軸装。そこには日本人の知恵がある。

　I was invited to the Urasenke Families Tea Ceremony in Tokyo.
　I was the main guest for all tea ceremonies. I saw many of good arts there.
　One of the topic was a scroll with written 宝 by Urasenke great grand tea master
　Hounsai when he was still young master and drawn ship by the 14th master Tantansai who he was father.
　It is great history is hiding in Japan.

　飛行機で今日は東京に移動。
　金沢は雪。東京は快晴。
　富士山が美しい。
　京都から見て東が東京。
　北が北陸。ついでに裏日本。
　でも、それで良いのだ。

　I am moving to Tokyo by airplane.
　Kanazawa is snowing and Tokyo has sly blue. And Mt Fuji is beautiful.
　It is said that Tokyo means located to the east capital from Kyoto.
　And Kanazawa located the North means that Hokuriku.
　Also it is said the back side of Japan.
　However it is a good history and should be that way.

　今年も18代前田利祐氏を迎え金沢尾山神社で行なわれた。
　早朝に、大友楼主人・大友佐俊氏の奉仕によって尊厳な雰囲気となった。

　2011/03/06 現代工芸フェア（東京有楽町フォーラム）に訪れてくれた堀内実先生、由美子夫妻。
　Dr.Horiuchi Minoru and Mrs.Horiuchi Yumiko visited to Contemporary Crafts Fair at Tokyo Yurakucho Forum.


　朝、ボストン在住だった堀内夫人から電話があった。
　その理由は、何故かわかっていた。
　ボストンで長く歯科医を務めた堀内実先生。
　留学時から本当にお世話になった。
　涙声で「主人が亡くなったの！」
　聞けば、私の初夢と同時刻に急死されたようだ。
　会いに来てくれたのかもしれない。
　日本からボストンに留学された方でお世話になった人は多い。
　皆がそれぞれの分野で活躍されている。
　共にご冥福を祈りたい。

　In the morning, there was a telephone from Mrs. Horiuchi who lived in Boston.
　I did not why I knew the reason for the telephone, before talking.

　Dr. Horiuchi Minoru was a dentist for a long time in Boston.
　He took care from the time of my studying in Boston
　"Husband passed away by his wife in a tearful voice!"
　It seems that he passed away suddenly at the same time with my first dream of the New Year.
　Because I could meet with him in my dream.

　There are many Japanese who studied in Boston and could meet with Dr.Horiuchi.
　They are working in many fields by important position.
　I would like to pray with them for the bliss of the dead.

　一人だけの制作。

　元旦の夜に夢を見た。
　御光が射す大空を私は飛び回っている。
　やがて、強風の中、狭い建物との間など
　体真っすぐに通り抜けていく。
　携帯を持っているのだが、友人の囁きが聞こえる
　「今までの女性の数を正しくカウントできたら作動する！」
　数が違ったのか作動しない。
　そして、昔の金沢駅。
　たくさんの犬にKISSされている自分がいた。
　また友人が囁く「犬は亡くなっても犬好きの人が解る！」
　目が覚めた。不思議で愉快な夢だった。

　月心寺で1月1日零時を待つ。
　寒気と霊気。そして除夜の鐘。
　私の気持ちも新たになる。
