　一 心塾は、石川県内で茶道を志す仲間の勉強会。発足から数年でありながら、すでに55名を超えた。
　今日の勉強会と呈茶は、塾長である私が講師と席主を我家で務め大勢の方々が集まった。
　その後の懇親会と二次会も、楽しい一時を皆と過ごした。

　Isshin cramming school is a study meeting of the way of tea in Ishikawa-prefecture.
　Though it was several years from a start, 55 people were exceeded already.
　I am headmaster of a crammer and served as a lecturer and a host for today's study meeting and tea ceremony,
　and many persons gathered. After that is, a social gathering and a continuation of the dinner also

　元旦朝、親子三代で雪深い工房、窯場へ初詣り。
　そして、家族だけでの正月の茶会。
　私には変わらない記憶がある。

　石川県と東急グループがタイアップした特別講座で講演。
　テーマは「石川の伝統工芸は現代アート」
　80名の定員に200名近い申込があったそうだ
　茶会は弟•奈良宗久が担当。
　御菓子は、行松宏展君が担当。
　江戸でもない、京都でもない、石川の文化を紹介させて頂いた。

　I had a special lecture at Tokyo Goto Museum by Ishikawa-Pewfecture and Tokyu group organization.
　A theme, " Ishikawa's traditional arts and crafts, Contemporary Art"
　It's said that close to 200 people had an application in the capacity of 80 people.
　My younger brother Nara Sokyu take charge of a tea ceremony.
　Mr. Yukimatsu Nobuhiro takes charge of a sweets.

　現代美術展は、石川県最高峰の展覧会であり、すべての領域を網羅する。
　会員には文化勲章受章者、日本芸術院会員、重要無形文化財保持者などがつらなっている。
　運営委員会の後、懇親会が開かれた。
　来春、第71回現代美術展において、私が審査員となることも決定した。

　大阪の知人宅に招かれた。有名シェフのフレンチ、そして振舞われたワイン、そのもてなしに感動。
　食とワイン、精通した人達の中で孤独に私がメイン席。笑
　もっと学ばなければ！

　I was invited to an acquaintance home in Osaka. And there are French of a famous chef and
　selected wine with the hospitality.
　It was impressed.
　The food and wine, it was familiar people gathered. I'm little bit lonely but I'm a main seat.

　サンテン・コーポレーションが主催するデザインコンペの審査員を務めた。
　今日は、その表彰式に出席。その後、記念講演をさせて頂いた。
　この会社の支援する姿勢は、素晴らしい。学生達もその感謝を忘れないでほしい。

　I was a judge of Santen Design Competition. I attend the awards ceremony today.
　After that I did a memorial lecture.
　The posture this company supports is wonderful. I want students not to forget that appreciation.

　友人である飛鷹全法・三宝院副住職のお誘いで、初雪の高野山を訪れた。
　三宝院の茶室・吟松庵は裏千家鵬雲斎大宗匠が命名。
　飛鷹全隆・住職から、祖父である九代長左衞門作の茶碗でおもてなし頂いた。
　およそ1200年。変わらない霊気が、高野山に存在している。

　priest Hidaka Zenbo who is the associate chie Sanhoin temple invited me to Koyasan.
　Today they're the first snow of the season.
　Ginshoan Tea room in Sanboin was named by the Urasenke Great Grand Tea Master Houndai.
　I could drink of tea by my grandfather of the 9th Ohi Chozaemon.

　紀州・和歌山に来た。加賀・金沢とは光と陰の関係かもしれない。
　来年1月28日には個展がある。関係者への挨拶、そして和歌山新報からの取材を受ける。
　お会いした方々の優しさに土地柄を感じだ。

　I have come to Kishu Wakayama. Kaga Kanazawa may be a relation between light and the shadow.
　There will be my exhibition from January 28 of next year.

　KKRホテル金沢で石川県内の卒業生(学友会)の総会が行なわれ、講演をさせて頂いた。
　その後、我家の茶室にて茶を喫しながら懇親を深めた。
　玉川の団結力は、金沢でも強まった。

　Tamagawagakuen Ishikawa branch plenary meeting was held and I had a lecture at KKR hotel Kanazawa.
　After that, moved to OHI Museum and having tea in a tea-room in my home.
　Our friendship was deepened and Tamagawa's combination power was also strengthened at Kanazawa.

　


　金沢に新たに登場した黒門小路。
　名鉄百貨店エムザが金沢城内を意識しながら地元の工芸と食の融合した空間を作り出した。
　今日は、その内覧会。
　大樋美術館も初のアンテナショップを設ける機会を頂いた。
　金沢文化の結集に加われたことは感謝したい。
　しかし、責任が伴っていることを強く感じる。
　独自の金沢文化創成のため我家も一体となって努力していく所存です。

　Kuromon Koji who appeared in Kanazawa newly.
　Meitetsu Department Store EMUZA in Kanazawa, The space just looks like the Kanazawa castle,
　and local foods and and crafts were conscious.
　Today is the private view.
　Ohi museum also received the chance to establish the first antenna shop.
　I'd like to be thankful that it could be added to concentration of Kanazawa culture.
　But I find to involve responsibility hard.

　解散総選挙となったが、政治家集団ではありません。-笑-
　年一度の集まりがあり、今年は、奈良で開催。全国から懐かし仲間が集まる。

　the cause of U.S. studying abroad. The party was held by him at American Club and field each
　class and multinational people were invited.

　京都・光悦寺でおよそ100年続く最も権威ある茶会に、我家が濃茶の席主となった。
　数々の数寄者が名を連ねる歴史に、父の名が刻まれることだろう。
　陶芸家、数寄者、そして茶人として、十代大樋長左衞門は、一生一度の機として真摯に臨んでいる。
　今日から始まった茶会は、裏千家坐忘斎御家元、御宗家、有馬頼底老師、そして多くの人々の列席のもとに13日まで続く。

　The most authoritative Koetsu Tea Ceremony that will continues at Kyoto Koetsuji Temple.
　And my family has held Koicha Tea Ceremony at this time.
　All of influence people are hosting tea and listed name in 100 years. My father will be named in this tea history.
　The10th Ohi Chozaemon is earnestly faced as a one-time one-life opportunity as a ceramist, tea person.
　The tea ceremony started today -- Urasenke Grand Tea Master Zabousai with his family,

　大手として内装デザインを手掛けるサンテンが、学生を対象にコンペを行った。
　テーマは「ネットショップには無いリアルショップの価値」全国から82点の応募があり審査員として招かれた。
　学生だから発想できるコンセプト、デザインは、我々にとっても刺激的だった。

　Santen Co. is the one of the major interior company and performed the design competition for the student.
　A theme was "what is the realistic shop's from the net shop " with of 82 applications from all of Japan.
　And I was invited as a judge.
　The concept and design which can be conceived since they are student,

　前回は、6年生全員が制作。
　今日は、窯炊。
　生徒、先生、私、皆が楽しんだ。
　出来上がった作品は、彼らの一生の想い出だろう
　全てを終え、美しく夕陽は沈んでいった。

　Last time, all sixth graders made a vessels.
　Today it is fireing.
　Student, Teachers, and I, everybody enjoyed ourselves.

　新潟の名家である、池田祥護氏のもとに嫁いだ。
　嵯峨春平氏が亡くなった時は、弔辞を読み上げた
　今日は、祝辞。
　それも、麻生副総理、泉田新潟県知事の次に、、、、、
　緊張したけど、ゆりこさん！お幸せに！

　I was attend the wedding of Ms. Saga Yuriko in Niigata today.
　Mr Saga Syunpei was her father and just like my elder brother.
　However he passed away when he was 54 years old.
　Since then she thinks I am just like her father, but I belive I am her brother.
　Today she married with Mr.Ikeda Syougo who is the most famous family in Ngata.
　I read the funeral address at that time and today I had a speech for wedding.
　But it was just after Deputy Prime Minister Aso and the Nigata governor Izumita. It tense!
　I wish for her all happiness!

　私が考える紅茶盌は、抹茶盌のように喫すること。
　サイズも工夫した。そして、熱い茶が注がれても、手で持てるのが特徴なのだ。
　今日の紅茶サミットで、初めて披露された。

　今日は、そのセミナーの講師に招かれ、金沢と東京を日帰りした。
　ジャーナリスト、キャスターでもある蟹瀬誠一氏、KDDI、イーアクセスなどを立ち上げた千本倖生氏、
　コーディネーターにマリ•クリスティーヌ氏と共に「日本の今」を語りあった。
　公用語は英語。
　政治、経済、文化と広く話し合われたのだが、サウジの参加者から数々の質問を受けた。
　日本人がもつ独特の尊敬心、忠誠心などに関心があるようだ。

　金沢市加賀染振興協会は「加賀友禅大使」を発表した。
　選ばれた大使は、２０代が中心のミス加賀友禅と共に着物を着こなし、
　加賀友禅ファンを増やしていく重責を担うことになっている。
　着物の知識が豊富で、和装が似合うことを条件に、石川県から10名と海外、関西、関東、中部、
　そして私が男性から唯一の選出となった。
　
裏千家の大会で長野、その後は日展審査のため東京、金沢での認定式に出席は出来なかったが、
　これからその役目を果たしていきたいと思う。

　Kaga Yuzen ambassador" was announced by The Kanazawa Kaga Stain Promotion Association today.
　The selected ambassador has heavy responsibility to stylish wear that kimono with main Miss Kaga yuzen,
　it was chosen in and outside the country, And I also became the ambassador from the only one male.
　The convention of Urasenke at Nagano and after that I have to be at Tokyo for the Nitten judgement
　attendance. It was not possible to attend for authorization ceremony.

　グランクラスは、飛行機のファーストクラスとビジネスクラスの中間ぐらいだろうか？
　音や振動は小さく、乗り心地は最高！
　新幹線は世界一のテクノロジーだ。

　After Urasenke Conversation was over,I moved for Tokyo from Nagano.
　I used Nagano Shinkansen GranClass. It is probably between air flight of the first class and business class.
　the noise is almost nothing and seat is comfortable. The Shinkansen is the best transportation car in the world.

　


　裏千家青年部の大会が長野県上田市で開催されている。
　5県からの多くの若手茶人が集うこの会は、私、行松宏展君、加納聡子さんがブロック会員として歴史を引き継いできた。
　進化した彼らに敬意を払いながら、自らの昔を懐かしむ。そんな時間でもあった。

　This Urasenke Conversation was held at Nagano Pref. Ueda City.
　It is for young tea students from 5 prefecture and continues as president me,
　Mr Yukimatsu Nobuhiro, and Ms. Kano Satoko.
　I am paying and respect evolved them. Also
　I missed my ancient times.

　


　長男は建築を学ぶ大学院生。だが休学中。
　多治見で陶芸を2年学び、復学するそうだ。
　彼の生まれて初めての出品作品。
　それを父が観たいと言った。
　未熟な小さな作品だったが、この時を彼は忘れないだろう。

　My eldest son is a graduate student who studies architecture. But under temporary absence from school.
　But now he is studying ceramic art at Tajimiwill for two years and it will come back to graduate school.
　He has the first exhibition work in his life. And my father wanted to see it.
　It was an unripe small work, however he will not forget this time.

　


　文化人が集うこの会。裏千家宗家・大谷裕巳氏、料亭青柳主人・小山裕久氏、そして私は、15年以上にわたり共に活動を続けてきた。
　今回は、金沢にある料亭銭屋主人・高木慎一郎氏をゲストに、茶道、料理について語りあった。このトークはYouTubeにもアップされることにもなっている。

　This meeting group is gathered by influential culture members. . Urasenke head family Mr. Hiromi Obtain,
　a restaurant Aoyagi master Mr. Hirohisa Koyama and I have continued activity over 15 years or more.

　全国から応募した参加者がLEXUSで連なりながら金沢、石川県内を観光する。
　パティシェ辻口博啓氏考案のスオリジナルスィーツ(Grue Ohi)による茶会などで、我家でも特別な時間を過ごしていった。

　it travels Kanazawa and Ishikawa within the prefecture.
　The tea ceremony with the original sweets (Grue Ohi) by patissier Tsujiguchi Hironobu design and
　they spent special time also at my house.
　A family, husband and wife, the sweetheart, and the trip tale are various.

　建築を通して見える偉大な建築家ガウディを描いたのだ。
　漫画家である彼の生き方を私は尊敬し、注目してきた。
　その開幕式に、誇れる友人が立っていた。

　20日から滞在して、今日で10月となってしまった。
　外は小雨。
　また、たくさんの想い出ができた。

　食と文化のイベントが石川県主催で行われた。
　マイケル•ロマーノ氏（ユニオンスクゥエアーグループ代表）とともに講演、パネルディスカションを行った。
　世界に55カ所のレストランを経営する著名なシェフでもある彼は、和食の魅力、そして私は風水、
　神道との関わりについて語りあった。彼とは日本での再会がまたありそうだ。
　ジャパンソサエティーは米国人が日本を理解する組織であり、日本文化に関心を寄せる400人を超える人々が集まり、
　講演後には石川県内の食材などが紹介され、地酒が参加者に振る舞われた。

　The event of food and culture was performed by the Ishikawa Prefecture sponsorship.
　A lecture and panel discussion were performed with Mr. Michael Romano (union Square group representation).
　As for him who is also a prominent chef who manages 55 restaurants in the world,
　the charm of Japanese-style food and I talked about relation by feng shui and Shintoism.
　There is likely to be reunion in Japan with him again.
　The Japan Society was an organization for which an American understands Japan,
　people exceeding 400 persons who are concerned about Japanese culture gathered,
　the foods in Ishikawa, etc. were introduced after the lecture,

　今日、ニューヨークからワシントンの日帰り。
　日本大使館を訪問。首都ワシントンで面白い企画が実現するかもしれない。

　滞在してからの唯一の休日、ゴルフをプレーした。
　この時期特有のインディアンサマーと言われる、短い夏の再来。

　ニューヨークでの展覧会を記念して、私の講演がNippon Clubで企画された。
　90分間、現代アートから観た工芸を語らせて頂いた。
　一連のイベントに全て参加してくれている仲間もいて、心強い。

　I had a lecture at Nippon Club New York and I am so glad to have friends who
　are attending for all my activities in NYC.
　I talked about looking at Japanese Crafts from Contemporary Art View.

　


　昔、住んだボストンに来た。旧友などと再会して明日、またニューヨークに戻る。

　I used to live in Boston. I am going to see my old friends and go back New York tomorrow.

　


　十代大樋長左衞門と大樋年雄による「大樋焼十代（父）と次世代の歩み展が、ニューヨーク•ニッポンギャラリーで始った。
　ニューヨークでは現在、国連総会が開かれており、57丁目に位置している日本クラブ、
　そしてその周辺は各国の政府関係者などが往来している。
　そして、このニューヨークは現代アートの発祥の地といっても過言ではない。
　当然のように日本の美術や工芸について造詣が深い人々もいる。会場を訪れた人々は、現代アートが日常にある彼らにとって、
　十代から十一代へという父子の共演が、日本の工芸の心髄として逆に新しいものに見えているのかもしれない。

　Our New York Exhibition started and this gallery located on the 57th Street at Middle town Manhattan.
　The United Nations General Assembly is held, and the official people of each country are walking area.
　And even if this New York is called birthplace of contemporary art, Naturally deep understanding people
　also require knowledge about fine arts and the craft of Japan.
　Paternal costarring of people who visited this exhibition said from 10th to 11 generation may be
　visible to a conversely new thing as truth of the craft of Japan for them who have contemporary art daily.

　東京日本橋高島屋で尊敬する人形作家•奥田小由女先生の個展を見たくて羽田から直行。

　会場で奥田先生と話していた時、大きく揺れ始めた。
　高島屋は即座にアナウンスで地震を告げる。既に多くの美術部スタッフは、先生の作品を支えている。
　繰り返す訓練の成果がそこにある。

　的確な対応と平常心。
　日本人は凄い！

　Respect Artist Okuda Sayume helds the private exhibition in Tokyo Nihonbashi Takashimaya,
　so I want surely to see that and nonstop to go from Haneda.

　While talking with Mrs. Okuda at the space, it began to shake greatly.
　Takashimaya tells an earthquake by announcement immediately.
　Many staff has already supported the her work. There is the result of training to repeat.

　Exact correspondence and the presence of mind. Japanese people are uncanny!

　


　最近は飛行機移動ばかり。しかし、そのお陰で雄大な富士山を拝む。

　今日、数時間の所用を東京で済ませ宮崎に移動。明日は宮崎県美術展の審査員を務める。

　Recently I am always in the airplane. However it is because that I can pray to the great Mt. Fuji.Today.

　I also stop in Tokyo and go to Miyazaki as a judge for Prefectural Art Competition.

　


　たった今、成田に到着。空は秋を伝える日本晴れ。
　しかしこの空港、多くの事柄が過去の遺物に感じてしまう。

　夜、日本国総領事 草賀純男大使などの臨席のもとに表彰式、オープニングレセプションが盛大に行われた。
　最優秀賞は、全日空からニューヨーク-日本の往復航空券が授与された。
　また、今回新設された特別賞は、同じく全日空からニューヨーク-日本の往復航空券、そして東急ホテル宿泊券などが贈られ、
　この受賞者は金沢を訪れ大樋工房の招聘を受けることになっている。
　このような企業の協賛は、これから金沢で行われていく芸術イベントの参考になるかもしれない。
　この展覧会は１７日まで、ニューヨーク•日本クラブ内日本ギャラリーにて作品展示されている。

　I become a chief judge and Mr. Ron Labaco (a curator, an art & design art museum),
　Mr. Cora Rosevear (a vice-curator, MOMA), Ms. Murase Keiko (Emeritus Professor Columbia University,),
　and Mr. Shinichi Doi (former Metropolitan Museum of Art conservator) became a judge.
　In the night, we had honor guest of Japan Consul-General New York Kusaka Sumio and held the
　commendation ceremony and the opening reception.
　The Grand prize was tround air ticket of New York- Japan from ALL NIPPON AIRWAYS. Moreover,
　Special Prize established newly this time also round air ticket, also the Tokyu hotel accommodation coupon, etc,
　and for this winner to visit Kanazawa and to receive invitation of work in Ohi Studio.
　Support of such a company may become the reference of an art event performed from now on in Kanazawa future.
　Work exhibition of this exhibition is carried out in Japanese gallery in the New York till the 17th of this month..

　これまで、すべて機種を、私は真っ先に入手してきた。今回も絶対欲しい。

　The Apple makes announced on the 19th stars to sale and the sequence is already made in the Apple Store
　most famous for the world in New York.

　The all models has so far come to hand first of all altogether.
　I also want this time absolutely. Probably, for 19 day of this month, I will be there in the line.

　I cannot sleep by a jet lag. The morning came on midtown.

　日米陶芸展審査のため4泊のニューヨーク。
　今成田から出発

　I will leave for NYC in 4 nights staying.
　I will be a judge for the Japan And US Ceramics Competition.

　

　


　昔、安仁屋宗八という投手がいた。1960年代の弱かった広島カープのエースだ。
　私がまだ10歳ぐらいの頃、金沢で広島カープの試合があり、選手が泊まる旅館前には多くのファンがサインを求め集まっていた。
　私もその一人の野球少年だった。
　夜も遅くなり、安仁屋選手は私が持参していたバット、グローブに
　「サインをたくさんの選手からもらってあげるから、明日の試合後に旅館に取りに来なさい」
　そう言って私を家に帰らせたのだった。
　翌日、安仁屋選手のサインボールとともに、たくさんのサインがあるバット、グローブが残されていた。
　以来、安仁屋選手は私のヒーローとなり、その宝物は金沢、東京、ボストン、金沢、いつも私と一緒だった。
　しかし、平成2年の我家の火災で消失。安仁屋選手が私から消えてしまったのだった。
　そして今日、友人の粋な計らいによって広島の個展会場に、あの安仁屋さんが訪ねてくれたのだ。
　それは、それは、本当に素晴らしい時間だった。
　私に残してくれた「一球一心」と書かれたサイン。
　少年時代に記憶した安仁屋選手が戻ってきた。
　野球は素晴らしい。

　A long time ago, I remember pro-baseball pitcher Aniya Shohachi.
　It was the weak team Hiroshima Carp of the 1960s.
　Probably I was the 10 years old, the Hiroshima Carp had a game in Kanazawa. At the time,
　many fans had gathered in quest of the sign in front of the players stayed in hotel. I was also the one baseball kid.
　It became late night and Player. Aniya said to me that "come to get your bat and glove after tomorrow game,
　I would ask other players signs”
　On the next day, the bat and glove had many sign with the Playerer Aniya sign ball.
　since then -- the Player Aniya becomes my hero and his sign ball was the treasure -- Kanazawa, Tokyo, Boston,
　and Kanazawa -- it was always together with me. However, it disappears with the fire of my home in 1990.
　The child memory had disappeared from me.
　And today, Mr. and Mrs. Aniya visited for my exhibition in Hiroshima by a friend's stylish discretion.
　It was the really wonderful time.
　The sign written to be "One ball One Mind" which it left to me.
　The Picher Aniya who memorized in my boyhood has returned.
　Baseball is wonderful.

　優しい町なのか？厳しい町なのか？
　素晴らしいドラマになると良いのだが、、、、、

　何時ものことだが不安だ。

　although it is good to become a wonderful drama –

　日本を代表するパティシエである辻口博啓氏の披露宴が石川県和倉温泉にある加賀屋で催された。
　彼は石川県七尾市出身。奥様となった高田真希さんも石川県では有名なモデルだった。
　まだ彼女が高校生の時、亡くなってしまった父親は、私の友人でもあった。
　天国から喜んでいるに違いない。

　The wedding reception of Mr. Tsujiguchi Hironobu who is a patissier representing Japan was held by
　Kagaya in Ishikawa Wakuraonsen.

　He was born in the Nanao-shi, Ishikawa native. Ms. Maki Takada who became wife was also a famous
　model in Ishikawa Prefecture.

　She lost his father when she was still student and also he was my friend.
　Today he will surely be glad from Heaven.

　


　9月2日（火）19時より北陸朝日放送「美都金沢」第二話“不足の美”に出演します。
　大樋工房で、かねてより尊敬する編集工学者•松岡正剛氏と共に対談した様子が放映されます。
　新時代の金沢の始りです。

　日本の都市として金沢は注目され続けてきた独特の文化的風土が存在する。大樋焼は350年を超える伝統のもとに、
　茶道のための茶碗を造り続けてきた。
　1927年に生まれた十代大樋長左衞門は、茶陶だけに甘んじることなく現代美術としての作品をも発表し続けてきた。
　その厳しい芸術姿勢によって日本国最高の栄誉である文化勲章受章者（石川県名誉県民•金沢市名誉市民）となっている。
　1958年に生まれた大樋年雄は、ボストンユニバシティ大学院修士課程を修了し活動の場を海外にも広げながら、
　新しい日本文化の担い手ともなっている。
　現在、この父子は新しい金沢駅においてのアートプロジェクトに取り組んでいる。
　初めての親子でのコラボレーションには、マスコミ各社が報じたこともあり大きな反響となっている。来年開業される北陸新幹線。
　その時が、この父子の作品が完成する時でもある。
　今回のニューヨークでの父子展は、近い将来、この両者の伝統の橋渡しの予感を抱かせる時となるであろう。

　京都楽焼の唯一の脇窯としての大樋焼は、寛文六年(1666年)五代加賀藩主•前田綱紀候により仙叟(裏千家始祖)が茶道奉行として
　金沢へ招聘された際、楽家四代•一入の高弟であった長左衞門が同道したことに始まります。
　特徴は、轆轤をいっさい使わず手で捻りながらの成形や、箆で削る独特の制作過程にあります。
　また、茶碗などをひとつずつ短時間で焼き上げ、窯から取り出し急冷するという独特の焼成は、
　現在、世界に広まりRAKUと称される起因ともなっています。加賀藩に支えられた大樋焼は、明治維新後、数々の苦難を乗り越えながら、
　日本茶道のもとに飴釉の特色ある稀有な陶芸として知られてきました。
　大樋焼の魅力は、手捻りによる造形と赤松や炭を用いる独特の窯変焼成によることで、釉薬と土が炎とかかわり合い、
　大樋焼特有の計算された技法が作品と相成っている点にあります。この昇華された魅力を可能にする為には作品形成にふさわしい、
　最良の土を見つけることが必要でした。また、主要な土は当時金沢郊外の大樋の地によるもので、
　初代長左衞門が数々の作品を残した事で大樋焼と称されることになりました。
　伝統ある大樋焼に、現当主十代大樋長左衛門（日本美術工芸界唯一の存命の文化勲章受章者・文化功労者・日本芸術院会員
　・石川県名誉県民・金沢市名誉市民）は、茶道美に添って、新たな表現を確立し、平成23年に平成天皇から最高の栄誉として
　文化勲章に叙せられました。本展は十代大樋長左衛門の作品と長年海外でも活躍し、欧米の美術館やコレクターに作品が収集されている
　大樋焼の後継者である大樋年雄氏（ボストンユニバシティー大学院修士過程修了・ロチェスター工科大学客員教授）の作品で構成され、
　大樋焼の伝統と継承を踏まえた新たな現代への挑戦をご紹介します。

　The Nippon Gallery is proud to present the exhibition of tea wares by Ohi Chozaemon X,
　Recipient of the Order of Culture Merit, and his successor,
　Ohi Toshio XI, Visiting Professor of Rochester Institute of Technology). "Ohi Yaki" originated in 1666 in a village
　in Ishikawa Prefecture and was developed for use in the tea ceremony. Made of soft clay and fired at low
　temperatures, Ohi pieces are prized for their beautiful shapes and luster. The Ohi method is to form the shape
　by hand, curving off excess bits with a spatula without using a wheel. At the firing stage, the piece is glazed and
　put into the kiln. Then the temperature is increased sharply within a short time, and the piece is taken out while
　the glaze is melting to cool down rapidly. This method requires sudden temperature changes, so finding good clay
　soil is important. The first Chozaemon found the most suitable soil in Ohi Village which is a suburb of Kanazawa.
　The name Ohi came from the name of the place. Since then, this method has been handed down from generation to
　geneartion as Ohi Yaki. Most Ohi Yaki is tea utensils among which tea bowls are most abundant. Its distinctive glaze
　contrasts beautifully with the powdered green tea used in tea ceremony. At the exhibition, 17 pieces of
　chadogu (tea wares) by Ohi Chozaemon X and Ohi Toshio XI, will be exhibited. Please don’t miss this rare opportunity.

　この運動が社会現象化している。
　一週間ぐらい前に伊東順二氏から私にも依頼があった。
　彼は、建築家•隈研吾氏、映画監督•本木克英氏、そして私を指名して、
　氷水を頭からかぶったのだった。
　私も単純に受け止め、3人の推薦の内諾を取り、実行するつもりだった。
　しかし、広島の災害を観たせいか気が変わってしまった。
　ボランティアだったことが、ブームだけになった気がしてしまうのは私だけだろうか？
　遠慮するつもり。ごめんなさい。

　This movement has social-phenomenon-ized.
　I also had a request from Art Critic Mr. Ito Junji for about one week ago.
　He nominated Architect Mr. Kengo Kuma,
　Film Director Mr. Motoki Katsuhide and me, and he was flatly covered with ice water.
　I was also going to catch simply, and to take and perform private consent of three persons' recommendation.
　However, I saw the disaster of Hiroshima, my mind has changed.
　I asked myself that used be a volunteer, but it became a boom only ?
　The intention of withholding. I'm so sorry.

　私の作品を長く愛用してくれている。
　オーナーは友人でもあり、粋な夜にしてくれた。
　地酒•三谷春で乾杯！

　There is Bar&Dinning SUIREN which has used my work regularly also in Hiroshima.

　This owner is friend and we toast for our wonderful night in Hiroshimai
　by local-brand-of-sake Mitaniharu.

　


　とんでもないことになった。

　知人は、家を流されたが命は救われた。
　まだ残る土砂、消防車、救急車、マスコミ中継車がひしめく異常な空気がそこにある。
　通行止めで見舞いには行けなかった。

　被害に遭われた方々に合掌。

　It is surprising. One of tea master her life was saved but the acquaintance had the house poured.

　There is the unusual air with the disaster sand, the fire truck, ambulance,
　and mass media relay car which still remain crowd. It was not able to go by traffic stop to visit to my friend hose.
　The palms are joined together to people which encountered damage.

　How can people be cured?

　My work is asked.

　I am going to Hiroshima for my private exhibition preparation.

　船出とは、悲しいものだ。
　太古の時代から「いつか、また会える」それが人の願いだった

　The Worldに入居可能な人々は、世界でも2パーセント
　クルージングで感じたことなのだが
　この船に乗船する人々には、共通性がある。
　自らを語らず、真摯に耳を傾ける。常に学ぶ姿勢があることだ。
　船の中で行った講演。そして工房での実演。大樋家芳土庵での茶会。
　教えたつもりの私が学んだ気がする。
　この時間、絶対忘れない。

　The person who can live into The World residence is less than 2% in the world.

　岸壁には、私がデザインした金沢PRIMIUMバスがいる。
　船内には、私がいる。
　デザインしたバスの初走行。何か感動的だ。

　The World Ship was arrived Kanazawa Port today at 7:30.
　The Kanazawa PRIMIUM bus stayed in a quay.
　I am in the ship.
　My designed bus run for the first time,

　The World"は洋上のリゾートと言われる分譲型の世界唯一の豪華客船だ。
　アメリカ客船なので公用語は英語であり、世界中のセレブな人々が乗っているのだが、日本人はみかけない。
　そして今、私はその豪華客船で日本海を北上している。
　今日の講演を終えた。明日朝、また別の講演を行うことになっている。
　今は、プールサイドで一人バカンスを楽しんでいる。

　20日の金沢寄港まで5日間クルージングする。
　18日、19日、船内で私は講演を行う。
　明日が出航なので、長崎に住む旧友夫妻と会食。とても楽しかった
　久しぶりの長崎、更にロマンチックな街に変貌していた。

　彼は、スーパー官僚の一人だが、茶道にも精通されている。
　短い時間ではあったが、再会を誓った。

　インテリアは、加賀友禅や九谷などの五彩、金箔などをイメージした。
　バスの後部を眺めると眼に飛び込んで来る「一」数字の１を意味する書のタッチには、ものごとの始りを予言させるはずだ。
　発注から半年、夢のバスが走り始める。

　外部の学識者も審査に加わる中、私は審査員に選出された。
　日展会館での会議は、新しい日展へのカウントダウンであってほしい。
　夕刻を待たずして金沢へ戻る。

　金沢を代表するギャラリーストであるの本山陽子さん（ギャラリーPONTE代表）のディレクションによる
　新里明士（陶芸）小田橋晶代（ガラス）の二人展が大樋家松濤間で開かれている。
　彼らはとても優秀な作家で評価も高い。
　我家の茶室は、茶会などで公開したことはあるが、今までこのような使い方をしたことはない。
　金沢の魅力を発信する一助になれば幸いだ。

　The two-person exhibition Niisato Akio (ceramic art) & Odahashi Masayo (glass art) by the direction of
　Ms. Matoyama Yoko (gallery PONTE representation) at my Tea Room Syotounoma.
　They are very excellent artists and their evaluation is also high reputaions.
　Although the tearoom of my home has been used in the tea ceremony etc., it has not carried out until now.

　待合室には、数々の工芸品が飾られ、私達父子の合作の作品も永久的に残される。
　報道各社からインタビューも受けたが、今晩のニュースに私は的確に答えているだろうか？

　I was invited to the private view of the new station building by the governor, a mayor, and the persons concerned.

　Many kind of crafts are decorated in the waiting room and the work of the
　collaboration by father and I also displayed there.

　私の好きな金沢についての取材を受けました。
　金沢弁は相手を思いやる事から、謝る言葉を挨拶に使うことを指摘。
　また、金沢弁の敬語を祖父から私が習った幼少期の想い出も語っています

　澄んだ子供達の眼に答えるためにも
　夏休みが終わるまでに、焼き上げなければ！

　中田英寿氏が理事を務める財団が、グランドハイアット福岡で開催した。
　ドレスコードは、フォーマル(タキシード)•アスコットタイ。
　日本の工芸を支援するこの試みも、全国各地で催され5度目となる。
　今回は、型紙をテーマに、クリエイター達が生み出した作品披露やオークションが行われた。
　アートを支援するこのような集まりは、本来は欧米の慣習なのかもしれない。
　中田氏はそれを工芸に置き換えているところが独自であり、未来性があるのかもしれない。

　福岡に、これだけの人々が世界から集まり、新しい工芸を眼にしただけでも大きな意味を持っている。
　来年は、金沢で開催されることになっている。

　I looked up the ceiling and it showns for the heaven.
　Everybody prays to this same meaning. why there is fight? It is mysterious.

　シアトルに住むRob Formell氏は、私も知る著名な米国教授から学んだ陶芸家であり親交がある。
　今日、彼が自らの教え子を連れて会いに来てくれた。

　正剛さんと知り合って、数えてみたら２８年。
　編集工学という学問を創り上げ
　現代社会で、彼ほど国語を知り得た人はいないだろう。
　そんな偉人とのテレビ対談があった。
　やはり言葉の意味が深い
　京都、江戸、金沢の文化について語り合った。
　昔に比べれば、多少の成長を感じてもらえただろうか？
　ひとつ残念なことは、私は絶食中で撮影後の夕食に参加できなかった。

　韓国から5人の教授が大樋美術館を訪れた。陶芸専攻の李河麟教授は、アメリカで陶芸を学び、
　また、昨年の韓国現代陶芸ビエンナーレでの私の作品を覚えていてくれたこともあり、交流が深まることだろう。

　韓国屈指の大学が金沢と連携することは、有難いことだ。引率された原智 金沢美術工芸大学教授、ありがとうございました。

　Five professors visited Ohi Museum from South Korea.

　Ceramic art major Professor Harin Lee studied ceramic art in the United States and he remembered
　my work in the South Korean ceramic art biennial last year. Our exchange will deeper.
　The leading university in South Korean cooperates with Kanazawa. It is kind of important issue.

　金沢の私の工房敷地内には民家があり、アメリカ人のアシスタントが住んでいる。
　昨日の早朝、勝手口で物音がするので扉を開けたら熊が立っていたそうだ。
　日本語が堪能ではない彼女は、そのことを上手く表現できない。
　新幹線で岡山駅に到着する頃、その事を電話で知った。
　その後、警察に通報、工房内に確かに熊の足跡が残っていたそうだ。
　今日も、近辺で目撃情報が多数寄せられている。
　私の昨日は、①切符を無くし②熊が出現した不思議な忙しい日だった。

　A private house is in my studio site of Kanazawa, and the American assistant lives there.
　My assistant told me that report, she heard the some noise around the kitchen and she found a bear
　stood when opened the door on yesterday early morning.
　She is not skilled and cannot express Japanese well.
　I got her explanation phone call and got to know about this story when arriving at Okayama Station.
　Then we reported to the police and found the bear footprint in the studio.
　And there is many similar information in the neighborhood today also.
　I was busy about ticket lost and bear appeared.

　


　金沢から乗り換えのため新大阪駅で降りた。新幹線の改札口で切符を無くしてしまったことに気付いた。
　駅員は、電話でサンダーバード車内、駅構内を探してくれたが見つからない。
　諦めて切符を再び買おうとしている時、落とした切符が遺失物として届いた。
　日本人は素晴らしい。ありがとう日本。

　It got down from Kanazawa at Shin-Osaka Station for the change.
　I have noticed that it has lost the ticket in the wicket of the Shinkansen.

　昨日は、現代工芸茶会だったので金沢にいた。今日から再び岡山に滞在する。
　金沢からの移動時間が、日本対ギリシャのサッカーワールドカップの試合。
　観戦出来ずに残念だが、日本が岡山に着くまでに勝ってほしい。

　現代工芸石川会に所属する作家が集まり、自らの作品を使いながらもてなしを茶会を通じて学んでいる。
　金沢21世紀美術館松濤庵で開かれた茶会には、たくさんの方々の参列があり、作家仲間達は嬉しい疲労感に満ちている。

　The artists who belong to a present age Japan Contemporary arts and crafts association of Ishikawa
　gathered and hosted tea ceremony in the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa.
　We had many attendance, and every artists are filled with a delightful feeling of fatigue.

　


　6年ぶりの岡山での個展が始まる。
　10時に会場に到着。
　テレビ、新聞、各社の取材を受ける。
　その後、会場構成を大きく変更。陳列してくれた天満屋さん、ごめんなさい。
　その後、夕刻まで来客が絶えなかった。

　岡山には、親友もいる。そして、長い間にわたり我家とお付き合いいただいている人々も存在する。
　有難い町なのだ。
　そして、今日はひとまず金沢へ日帰りする。

　The private exhibition in Okayama for the first time in six years starts. I arrived at 10:00.

　今日、岡山天満屋個展の初日。昨日は作家仲間と久々に飲み明かし、ほとんど寝ていない。
　誰も乗っていない車両は静かなもの。岡山で皆がまっている。

　Okayama Tenmaya exhibition starts today.
　I was with artist friends last night. That is why I could not sleep.

　4月に東京都美術館で開催されたこの展覧会は、石川会に所属する42点を含む巡回展として金沢21世紀美術館で始まり、
　また同時に石川の現代工芸展も併催された。開幕式、研究会、夜は表彰式と受賞懇親会が開かれた。

　北國新聞はじめ多くのマスコミ、石川県、金沢市、地元財界などの多くの支えの中で我々作家が存在している。
　恵まれた環境に感謝しなければならない。

　This exhibition held in Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum in April started as a round exhibition including 42 works which
　belong to the Ishikawa brunch in the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa.

　The commendation ceremony and the award ceremony were held.
　We the artsits exist in a support by many mass media and Ishikawa Prefecture,
　Kanazawa, and the local business world. We have to appreciate this environment.

　

　


　VOGUEは世界の最新ファッションやコレクションをはじめ、ニュースや新作情報をご紹介する雑誌だ。
　今回、金沢においてLEXUS、VOGUEが金沢でイベントを開催することになった。

　10月4日、全国から応募した参加者が金沢市内をLEXUS車20台が連なり名所を訪れる。

　VOGUEからの相談を受けて成立したこの企画。
　石川県観光スペシャルガイド、観光特使として少しでも役目を果たせるように活動するつもりだ。

　日展金沢展が石川県立美術館で開催されている。午後のギャラリートークには、例年を上回る参加者が集まった。
　各作家の作品の説明とともに、日展工芸の未来を語らせて頂いた。

　Nitten Kanazawa is held in Ishikawa Prefectural Museum of Art.
　The participants gathered for the afternoon gallery talk who exceed an ordinary year.

　I had explanation of each artist work. And I was allowed to tell the Nitten future.

　父と二人で制作した作品が完成した。
　通常、茶碗は茶を喫する為の物
　しかし、今回は駅の壁に埋め込まれることになっている。
　朝、引き渡しが完了。
　56歳＋1日の時のスタートだ。これも縁起かな？

　Father and I our collaboration work completed.
　Usually, a tea bowl means a thing for suffering tea.
　However, it is to be embedded in the wall of new Kanazawa station this time.

　能登•総持寺において献茶式が執り行われた。
　ご奉仕は裏千家•伊住公一朗宗匠。
　お生まれから知る縁は、亡き伊住政和氏が父親だからだ。
　尊厳なる寺院で、父子の姿が重る
　悲しさが嬉しさにも成り得る事を知った。
　その時が私の誕生日。感無量の時間。

　The tea offering to Buddaha Ceremony was held in Noto Soji-ji Temple.
　Service was by Urasenke Tea Master Izumi Koichiro.
　Mr. Izumi Masakazu was his father and I know him since he was born.
　I realized that sadness mind is changed to that happiness mind by Their both of paternal
　figure in the dignified temple.
　That time was my birthday. Time filled with deep emotion.

　


　「東日本大震災後、日本は偏った情報による”風評被害”に苦しんだ。
　一人でも多くの世界中の人に、真の日本を伝えてもらいたいと誰もが願った時でもあった。
　その日本復興への強い願いから生まれたのがトラベルボランティアプロジェクトだ。
　発案者は、石川県金沢市内にある旅行会社、マゼラン・リゾーツ。
　そして、2000近くの応募から選ばれたイギリス人カップルのJamieとKaty。
　彼らは100日かけて日本全都道府県を回り、日本は今なお美しく、魅力豊かな国であると、
　その様子を毎日ブログで世界に発信したのであった。
　そんな彼らが春に私を訪ねてきてくれた。そして今回は取材として再会。会食では、参考になる意見なども頂いた。
　プロジェクトを発案しながらプロデュースに徹したマゼランリゾーツスタッフに、尊敬の念と感謝の気持ちをお伝えいたします

　羽田空港も、やっと夜遅いフライトで海外から帰れるようになった。
　フィリピン上空ぐらいだろうか？
　昔は誰も観れなかった美しい夜景に感動を憶えた。

　24日東京での披露宴の後、羽田空港から真夜中の飛行機で移動。　　　　
　ハノイの美術大学に各国からの工芸家が集まった。
　遠い昔、我家の工房で学んだベトナム留学生とも再会。もちろん、今は教授なのだが、、、、、
　最終日はバッチャン村を視察。日本人はそのルーツを安南と称し茶道で珍重してきた陶器の古里でもある。

　I moved by midnight airplane from Haneda Airport after the wedding reception in 24th Tokyo.
　The craftsmen from each country gathered in the fine-arts university of Hanoi.
　I met again also with the Vietnam foreign student who learned in my studio for a long time ago.

　古岡秀樹君は、我々の燦々会(昭和33年生まれ)の仲間であり、長い間の親友だ。
　そんな彼が愛する長男•承勲君の披露宴に出席した。
　美男、美女の二人。仲間からとても愛されている。

　それにしても、最近は友人の子息の披露宴が増えてきた。
　かれらからすれば、お父さんの友人なのだ。

　昨年11月から始まった日展。石川県立美術館で巡回展が開催された。
　日本画、洋画、彫刻、工芸、書道、世界最大の公募展でもある。

　しかし、大改革しなければならない日展でもある。未来のために我々の世代がどのように生きていくのかが問われている。

　すでに10年ぐらいになるだろうか、この財団の助成選考委員を務めている。
　朝から夕方まで、研究者からのヒアリングによって石川県内の国公立大学からの27件の応募された研究を選考する。
　助成額は、総額で1,000万円。助成件数は最高で10件以内。
　経済産業諮問委員、内閣府参与などの選考委員もいて、質問される内容も深い。
　研究者の熱意は、選考を難しくさせてしまう。

　今日から日曜日まで、夜は友人達は歓待してくれるのだが、、、、、
　電車の外は雨。嬉しさと不安が交差する。

　金沢駅の階段を駆け登ったが、電車のドアは目の前で閉まってしまった。
　無情にも名古屋への早朝の電車に乗り遅れてしまった。
　今日から名古屋での展覧会が始まる。
　先月の東京での個展は成果を遂げたが、果たしてどうなることだろうか？
　私は、14日(水)、16日(金)、17日(土)、18日(日)と画廊に滞在予定。

　昨晩、久しぶりに松岡正剛氏にお会いした。知り合って30年近くなるだろうか。
　編集工学を提唱され、知の巨人とも言われるスーパー学者だ。
　秋元雄史•金沢21世紀美術館館長、建築家•浦淳氏などと共に過ごした時間は、私の人生の中で忘れることはないだろう。

　今夏は、松岡氏出演のテレビ放映に、私も取材を受けることになっている。
　最高学者に、私は何を語れるのだろうか。

　３カ所あるのだが、父•長左衞門と話し合った結果、合作とすることになった。
　父子展、父子取材、何故だかこれまで避けてきた我々。
　父は父らしく、私は息子らしく、この課題を乗り越えることができる時期にいるのかもしれない。
　本日、そのことを北國新聞が大きく取り上げてくれている。

　The request of the project for the inside of the Hokuriku Shinkansen Kanazawa station building.

　我家の大改修が終了した。
　建築家•隈研吾氏の設計。
　日本画家•千住博氏の襖絵。
　18代前田利祐氏の庭園命名。
　そして、披露を兼ねた茶会。
　これも多くの人に囲まれてのこと
　石川県知事夫妻、地元政財界、そして
　韓国、台湾、全国から600人の参列。
　松濤庭の樹齢500年の折鶴の松は喜んでいる
　そして、先祖のご加護に感謝

　The fundamental reconstruction of my home was completed.
　Architecture Kuma Kengo design.
　Painter Senju Hiroshi fusuma painting.
　18th generation Maeda Toshiyasu named Garden Syoutotei

　25年前、我家は火災の被害を受け、庭の大きな松も傷を負った。
　両親は火の中から助かった。
　我家は武家屋敷で、松は樹齢500年。
　どちらも金沢市の保存指定を受けている。
　あの時、
　父も私も命懸けの再建だった。ただ、父や他者の助言は聞かなかった。
　出来上がったギャラリーは、心無いデザインされただけのものだった。
　私も幼かった。あれから後悔の連続だった。
　だが、そのことでデザイン、工芸を深く学んだ。

　四半世紀が過ぎ、ギャラリーを全て白紙に戻し
　そのデザインの後悔をリセットした。

　25 years ago, my home suffered the damage of the fire and the big pine of the garden also got injured.
　Parents were saved out of fire.

　My home is a samurai residence and a pine tree age is 500 years.
　Both have received preservation specification of Kanazawa.

　At that time, a father and I were desperate reconstruction.
　However, advice of a father or the others was not heard.
　Our gallery, there was the no heart -- it was only what was designed.
　I was also young. It was continuation of the regret from that.
　However, a design and the craft were deeply studied by that.

　A quarter of a century passed, all galleries were started with a clean slate, and regret of my design was reset.

　


　新聞、テレビ局への記者発表を行った。
　設計は建築家•隈研吾氏。大樋ギャラリー、茶室、庭園などを一新した。
　日本画家•千住博氏によるwater fallの襖絵は、茶室•芳土庵に描かれている。
　二人は友人だが、恩人にもなった。

　考えてみれば、父•長左衞門の友人である草月流家元•勅使河原宏氏設計による
　風庭（大樋美術館前庭）日本画家•加山又造氏の数々の作品も我家に残されている。

　最近、取材が続いている。
　午前は金沢ケーブルネット、午後はNHK。珍しく親子の映像だ。
　我々の父子関係は難しい。ついこの前までずっと対立状態だった。
　しかし今、父である十代長左衞門と私は、共同制作をしている。
　86歳と55歳。神様と仏様に感謝。
　一部の作品は、新幹線のための金沢駅に設置される
　ドキュメンタリーとしての取材が続くようだ。

　Recently, coverage continues.

　そんな中で、東京都立美術館で行われている第53回日本現代工芸美術展は最終日。
　私は担当理事として会場に立つ。
　イタリアから初出品、初受賞した土田康彦君と再会。友人でもある彼は、その受賞を大変喜んでいるようだ。
　彼のような純粋な作家の存在が、これからの公募展には大切だ。

　駐日アゼルバイジャン大使との会食を終えて、原田 喧太（はらだ けんた)さんのライブに駆けつける。
　タイミング良くライブが始まった。
　彼のお父上は亡き原田芳雄氏、お母上は茶道教授もされていて長いお付き合いを頂いている。
　先般も私の東京での個展にお越し頂いた。そんな一家のご長男だから、彼は実に多彩だ。
　日本のミュージシャン、俳優としてこれからも活躍されていくことだろう。

　ギュセル•イスマイルザーデ アセルハイシャン大使,日本留学経験があり日本に精通された若干43歳の大使が金沢を訪れている。
　石川県知事、金沢市長を表敬、そして我家を来訪され、茶室•芳土庵で母の点前で大樋家芳土庵で茶を喫っされた。
　夜は、料亭金茶寮で金沢の主要な人々が招かれ会食も行われた。
　これを機に、北元喜洋氏が代表世話人として金沢文化百人会が発足した。
　これから金沢に訪れる要人のために、もてなしの体制が整なった。

　Mr.Gursel Ismayilzada Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan. He is just 43-year-old.
　He has experienced studying in Japan and was well versed in Japan.
　Ambassador visited Ishikawa governor and Mayor Kanazawa and and my home.
　He had a tea by mothers making at Hodoan tea room.

　Main people of Kanazawa were invited at ryotei Kincharyo
　night. Taking advantage of this opportunity,
　the 100 Kanazawa culture meeting was launched for Mr. Yoshihiro Kitamoto as a representation sponsor.
　For the important person who will visit to Kanazawa from now on, the organization of a reception is ready.

　

　


　明日から東京都美術館で開かれるこの展覧会は、海外出品者や多くの新人が受賞する特別なものとなった。
　私は理事•審査員として、関係者と会場設営を行った。
　残念なことに翌日の表彰式、懇親会は金沢での所用で出席できない。
　受賞した石川県からの仲間が喜ぶ姿を見届けられないのが残念だ。

　This exhibition held at Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum became special things which an overseas exhibitor
　 and many newcomers are awarded.
　I am director and judge so display all the space for exhibition.
　Although a commendation ceremony of the next day and the social gathering regrettably cannot attend.

　it is regrettable that I cannot be ascertained my awarded friend from Ishikawa Prefecture.

　


　外は夜が明けてきた。
　個展が終わり、気分は最高なはずなのに、かなりの落ち込みだ。
　期間中、絶え間なく訪れてくれた人々。
　そして、飾られた数々の花。
　昨日終わったはずなのに
　撮られたたくさんの写真は、遥か昔のように感じる
　多くの人々に支えられて有難いと心から思う。
　だから眠れない。

　In outside, a morning glow.
　My exhibition finishes, and although it has to be my feeling good but it is remarkable depression.
　People visited during the period continually.
　And many decorated flowers in the space.
　It was finished yesterday.
　I am seeing many taken photographs but I feel that was long time ago.
　I am feeling that I am supported by many people and thank from the bottom of my heart. Therefore, I cannot sleep.

　

　


　フランスからの有名ブランドが主催した夕食会に出席した。
　およそ20名の招待客は、それぞれにカスタムメイドの靴がプレゼントされる。
　友人である作曲家 千住明氏と共に楽しい夜を過ごした。
　私の靴は、4ヶ月後に完成する。とても待ちきれない。

　This is the one famous French bland. And I was invited for dinner party.
　It is almost 20 invitational guests and each one of us had chance to make shoes.

　黛まどかさん主宰の「百夜（ももよ）句会」に参加している。
　歌舞伎俳優、俳優、数学者、建築家、漫画家、アスリート、マスコミ関係など、
　バラエティーに富んだメンバーとこれまで、金比羅や湯布院などを訪れては、俳句を読みあってきた。
　必ず恋の句を一句詠むことが課題となっている。前回は金沢に皆が集まった。
　今回は76夜、坂東三津五郎さんの快気祝い、私の東京日本橋三越個展の祝いとして開催された。

　私ごと
　漢字を知らない！字が汚い！季語を知らない！
　最低の弟子だけど、皆に貶されながら頑張ります。

　私の入選作（駄作）
　花冷えに語れぬ恋の帰り道
　同じ場所同じ季節の初桜

　it has participated in Mayuzumi Madoka haiku gathering.
　The member who was variety and has been read from kabuki actor,
　an actor, a mathematician, a architecture, a cartoonist, an athlete, mass media relations, etc.

　昨夜、展覧会のすべての準備を終えて乗った地下鉄で
　急に極度の落ち込みに襲われた
　花粉症、風邪、疲労、何なのか解らない
　夜も眠れなかった。また、弱気な自分がいる。
　学習できない自分は、何度このことを繰り返したことだろう。
　そして、今日から始まった私の個展。
　次々に飾られる会場への花
　そして、朝から絶えない来訪の方々
　残念なのは、誰ともゆっくり話せなかった
　しかし、有難いことだと思う。心からそう思う。

　I never learn and I always repeat this feeling.
　And my private exhibition started today.
　The flower to the space decorated
　And known people visited for me but it was same time and short time.

　大きな壁を制作した。
　タイトルはMy Fantastic Journey
　青と黒の漆喰の壁、そして陶芸。
　伝統工芸の融合が新しい空間を作る
　一連の儀式を終えて、作品解説をした。
　これは、亡くなった架谷是郎会長に捧げる作品でもある。

　I made a big wall
　The title is 「My Fantastic Journey」
　Blue and Black clay wall and my ceramic.
　I am challenging how traditional crafts create for new space.
　I attended all ceremony for opening and had a speech.
　My work exists for President and my friend the late Hasatani Shiro.

　


　昔から長男に私は厳しい。そして、彼を褒めたことは無い。
　野球をやれば補欠。大学受験すれば浪人。大学卒業間近に留年。
　現在、建築を学ぶ大学院生なのだが休学するそうだ。
　愛知県多治見市で陶芸を2年間学ぶらしい。

　2月に突然に金沢へ戻って来た長男。
　毎日、「起きろ」「馬鹿野郎」「時間を有効に使え」と怒鳴った私。
　4月になって
　「家の為に何かしろ！」彼に怒鳴って私は東京に出かけた
　昨日、金沢に戻って来ると家の壁が白く塗られていた。
　その日、長男は祖父母へ挨拶して多治見へ向かった

　考えてみると彼の人生のほとんどを私は叱り続けてきた
　彼が残した「白く塗られた壁」
　何故か改築中の我家に溶け込んでいる。

　I am severe to my eldest son. And he has not been praised.
　He was a supplement baseball player
　He failed university entrance examination one time
　He failed university graduate one time
　He is a graduate student who studies architecture in Tokyo
　now, he will absence from school temporarily for 2 years.
　He is going to study ceramic art in Tajimi.city Aichi Pref.

　He returned to Kanazawa suddenly in February.
　Every day, I told him that "get up", a "foolish guy", "use time effectively",
　April should come.
　"do something for a house" -- it shouted at him, and I went to Tokyo.
　And when I returned to Kanazawa yesterday
　The wall was painted white by him.
　Same day, my eldest son greeted to his grandparents and left for Tajimi.

　It has melted into reconstruction home.

　


　審査の中日、彼女の快気を祝して銀座加賀屋で会食。
　ここは、全てが私の監修したレストランでもある。
　川島なお美さんは女優としてだけではなく、裏千家の茶人でもあることも知られており、
　過去に茶会で共に点前を披露したこともある。
　彼女が癌手術を受けたことは、マスコミ報道で記憶に新しいが、病に対する考え方は素晴らしく、
　同じような境遇にある人々の共感を呼んでいる。
　これからも素敵な人生を歩むことだろう。

　We had dinner for her recovery celebration together at Ginza Kagaya.
　I supervised all of this restaurants inside here.
　It is known not only as an actress that she is also a master of the tea ceremony of Urasenke,
　and we used to share of making of the tea for same tea ceremony in the past.
　Although it was news that she underwent the cancer operation at a mass media report,
　her view over the illness is wonderful and is admiring of people in the same circumstances.
　Life great from now on will be followed. She walks wonderful life in her future.

　


　上野公園は桜が満開。
　そこにある東京都美術館で、海外も含む全国からの作品を審査する。
　今日から4日間、桜とは無縁の時間だ。

　A cherry tree is in full bloom at Ueno Park Tokyo.Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum is located there,
　the work from the whole country including overseas were sent for this competition.
　It is no time related to a cherry tree.

　


　最近、欧米やアジア各地の訪問者が増えている。
　今日もオランダの美術館学芸員、コレクターなどが大樋美術館を視察。

　今まさに、金沢への旅行ブーム到来！皆様もどうぞ金沢へお越し下さい。

　Recently, number of foreign people are visiting kanazawa.
　The art museum curator of the Netherlands and collector visited Ohi Museum today also.

　第70回現代美術展が石川県立美術館で始まる。
　そのための委嘱賞選考会が開かれた。
　選考委員は一人の日本芸術院会員、８人の人間国宝など重鎮ばかり。
　その中で、私も選考委員として参加させて頂いた。
　皆の総意で良い作品が選ばれた。

　The 70th contemporary-art exhibition starts in Ishikawa Prefectural Museum of Art.
　The request prize selection meeting for that was held also.
　Only for leaders, such as a one member of the Japan Academy of Art and eight persons' living national treasure,
　and member of the selection committee.
　I was also allowed to participate as a member of the selection committee in it.
　The work was selected by everybody's consensus.

　

　


　私の娘も大学を卒業。性格が全く同じなのに、永遠に続きそうな反抗期。
　でも、父は永遠に愛する。
　今日、一便で東京に向かう機内で見た富士山が祝ってくれた。

　My daughter graduates from a university.
　Our character is completely the same.
　The rebellious age may be continued forever. However father loves forever.
　Mt. Fuji vertebrates from a plane which goes to Tokyo today.

　

　


　3年前、台湾台南藝術大学大学院を修了して金沢にやってきた
　鍾雯婷(Chung Wen Ting)彼女は私の教え子でもある。

　春からは、東京藝術大学博士課程に進学する。

　Miss Chung Wen Ting finished the Taiwan Tainan College of Arts graduate school (M.F.A),
　and came to Kanazawa three years ago -- she is also my former student.

　She goes on to the Tokyo University of Arts (doctoral course) from spring.

　この制度は、石川県が委嘱した各分野に精通した専門家が、県内の魅力をその立場で案内することを目的としている。
　本来は知事から委嘱状を渡されのだが、石川県知事選挙中であり大樋家松濤間で授与式が行われた。
　私が担当するのは、工芸分野で、それを通じて現代工芸、
　現代美術などをガイダンスすることで観光振興に寄与するために委嘱された。

　茶道や工芸、そして現代アートに深く興味がある国内外の方々に、今の石川県を知ってもらうことが私の役目かもしれない。

　This system aims to the specialist well versed in each field with which Ishikawa Prefecture entrusted guide a charm
　within the prefecture by that position.
　It was originally the letter of request was passed from the governor but it is now Ishikawa governor election,
　the ceremony was held at Tea Room Syotounoma in my house.

　I was requested to charge of my field,
　and was entrusted in order to contribute to sightseeing promotion by guiding art and craft,
　contemporary art, etc.

　It may be my duty to get present Ishikawa Prefecture from out side country people which are deeply
　interested in the tea ceremony,
　the craft, and contemporary art.
